Location - outside our main goal (Innsbruck), but with a good public transport - bus every 20 minutes. That came with the opportunity to have great views of the mountain from our terrace including sunrise and sunset of the August's Sun. We appreciated very much the Innsbruck Welcome Card which extended our experience in a way we couldn't afford otherwise. Very friendly staff, open for communication and help. Our room was kept clean and tidy every day.

Maybe it should be made more obvious and clear that it's a part of Edelweiss hotel situated nearby and the place where the reception, breakfast and other facilities are located. But actually this is not a problem at all.

We have stayed here in July for one night Inn our Euró Trip from England. After making a booking we did not realise we have got an e-mail from the place that we should Check in into this hotel in an other hotels reception! When we arrived there was nobody Around ( then we realised the situation) it is a Tipical ski holiday hotel! When I was skiing from 1987 onwards I saw the same furnitures And bathroom which now is very dated but Everything was functional , did not make a fuss as brought back lovely childhood memories! The neighbours next door were very noise but after knocking on their door they turned the music off. Had a good night sleep. In the Morning we needed to go to the other hotel for breakfast which was avarage, the foreign waiters did not seem to be interested just Wanted to finish barely spoke german or english I think. Reception staff on Check in was extremely helpful, recommended a pizza place as we arrived late , Check out was also good but the hotel we have stayed in had no reception , bar, restaurant just a room! Cleanliness was good but Being “abandoned” reminded me to Shining!!! 🤣 adacvate stay though

The location was perfect, parking just in front of the apartment. For the check in you have to adress “hôtel Edelweiss” which is a little bit further, honestly not a big deal, breathing the fresh air is pleasant! In fact this hotel is kind of an annexe of the Hotel Edelweiss except the sleeping part everything is happening there. You can also have dinner (menu for 18€ E-M-D). Big up to all of the mains prepared by the chef. Everything we ate was absolutely fantastic. Don’t hesitate to eat here for dinner I highly recommend it ! And of course the staff was really appreciate

Carpet in the room and the transparent bathroom’s door… honestly, what about a little bit of privacy? Please get rid of both !! I think the hotel grade would be much higher if its wasn’t for those two things.

Ideal location for exploring the surrounding area, situated in a small village just above Innsbruck, with a regular bus service nearby. Very quiet hotel. Room very comfortable, with a balcony to admire the mountain views. Breakfast and reception was in the nearby sister hotel. Breakfast was very good and plentiful with lots of choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The included Innsbruck card with special offers was a bonus. This was a return visit and we hope to be back again in the future.

Value for money, location for essential shops good.

The Götzens building was essentially a large annexe to hotel Edelweiss where the manned reception and bar /restaurant was located, so no amenities at Götzens. No information on Booking.Com or signage at the annexe to explain this to guests. However this was an inconvenience only and has not affected out rating of the hotel, our stay was good value for money.

Warm welcome and friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Hotel was very nice and in a quiet location. Wonderful views of the mountains from the balcony and the close proximity to Innsbruck made it very easy to travel around and explore the surrounding area. Breakfast was a short walk to a neighbouring hotel (where reception was also based) and was very good - a buffet with lots of choice, which was regularly restocked. Room very clean and comfortable. A great place to stay.

The room key was ready for us in the former reception area of the hotel in an envelope with detailed instructions. The partner hotel for check in is within a 2 minute walk. Really friendly staff, especially the receptionist was very helpful, offered us the Welcome card, advised us how and where to use it, recommended suitable activities for us. The restaurant staff were also helpful and fast. Absolutely satisfying standard breakfast, always fresh (white/whole grain bread, ham, salami, cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, several kinds of cereals, cold/hot milk, tea/coffee, vegetables, fruit, jam, butter etc.). Need to prepare for an outbreak of guests between 7:30-8:00am at breakfast. The accommodation was up to the standard. Our room was newly furnished. We were pleasantly surprised by the balcony seating area and spacious shower room. Free parking. The location of the small village surrounded by imposing mountains is amazing. Good connections to Innsbruck. Spar supermarket is within 5 minutes walk (closed on Sundays), petrol station 2 minutes by car. Several restaurants in the vicinity. We were really satisfied.

The overall impression was spoiled by the carpets in the corridor, especially on the staircase, they need to be wet-cleaned. The flower boxes on the balconies would certainly impress guests during the summer season. The rooms are not soundproof however at night it was completely quiet everywhere. The shower room needs a more thorough cleaning of the black spots in the wall tile joints. The mattresses are really soft.

The position is good, and very convenient for the Brenner Pass and Innsbruck. Some work appears to have been done on upgrading rooms and bathrooms. Certainly it was an improvement on the room we had 4 weeks previously. Rooms are clean and tidy, but corridors are tired. Bars, longest and dining facilities are not functioning. One has to go to the nearby Edelweiss Hotel. There the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Photographs on this site are way out of date. Bars, lounges and dining rooms are NOT functioning at all. Breakfast was served at a sister hotel close by, the Edelweiss. On arrival reception was manned by two Hungarian ladies who appeared not yo speak any German let alone English or Italian, and who continued with their personal telephone calls throughout our encounter with them. They could not even provide a pen to fill in the form! Very, very rude. Security is non-existent as outside doors to stairwells are left wide open, and no staff are on reception, or the premises it seems in the evenings. A shame, it could so easily be much more welcoming and secure.

The rooms were really nice and big. We had on site free parking. The room was clean and looking good. They gave us free pass for public transport and answered all of our questions.

You have to check in in another hotel and the breakfast is in the other hotel also.

I needed a bit more information about how to check in. Check in was in another hotel in another street. An envolope with the key was in the reception, but information should have been given like "outside opening hours, please pick up the envolope with your name on it. There you wil find the key to your room. Check-in is from 7 - ??? in Hotel Edelweiss [adress and a small drawing of where to find Hotel Edelweiss]"
