+ Staff: Especially the receptionist who's name I didn't catch but she was so helpful and always warm and welcoming - thanks a lot, she allowed me to swap for a higher up room with a view that was so nice, and had great tips about transport and local ski resorts + I LOVED the pool and sauna... never too busy and the pool was a cool temperature that works really well after a sauna. The hot showers right next to the pool were great too. + Breakfast was very good... plenty of scrambled eggs and an array of vegetables and very nice rye bread to go with it. Great tea selection and kiwi fruit always a great start to the day. Coffee was ok. + The hotel is always warm in temperature and atmosphere + The bar was nice to chill at in evenings, with addictive salty breadsticks! + Free local bus pass given to all guests, very useful! + Axamer Lizum ski resort just 20 mins free bus ride away, plenty of snowboard action there even in late March 2025. + The evening a-la carte menu was great and reasonably priced. There are a couple of great restaurants nearby less than 10 mins walk.

I loved this place so all points are minor: - The first room I was given on ground floor didn't have much view but they allowed me to change it - Robes for the spa would be nice because else you have to change there or walk through the whole hotel wrapped in towels to get back to your room - but this is a minor problem not a big one. - The curtains were not very 'blackout' so lot's of light in the morning which meant I didn't sleep as well, a mask would've helped but alas I didn't have one. - The pillow provided was a bit lumpy and not very comfy but I forgot to ask for another one so cannot complain

If you are looking for a ski trip on a budget, this hotel is the way to go! Located in Gotzens, about 100m from bus stop to Mutteralm andAxamer Lizum ski area. We drove to Stubaier but you could go on the ski bus too! It is a traditional Austrian hotel, perhaps a bit dated and shabby BUT the staff make up for it! 10/10 for costumer care. The manager and the cook are always nearby chatting to the guest, making sure you are ok! The waiters and waitresses smile and YOU are their upmost priority. Lovely receptionist ladies, always with a smile on their faces😍 Positives -location -the views -well heated -comfy beds -clean -good value for money(bfast €8 and a three course meal is €18!) -the bar -STAFF!!!

Pool was cold, but the kids didn’t care, the air was very warm there just the water temperature was colder.

We travel from UK, Liverpool a family of 3 and we were amazed from the first moment we stepped in this beautiful hotel with a welcoming atmosphere and lovely staff, after we checked in and went to our rooms we loved everything, clean, beautiful view to the mountains from our balcony. The food was really good, fresh and very delicious 😋, we did use the pool every night and also to mention the free bus tickets we all got from the hotel to travel to the city centre, amazing place with amazing people, can't wait to go back next year 😀.

It was nothing I could not like, everything was beautiful.

+ The hotel is in a quiet and scenic location with a bus stop and supermarket nearby. + The staff at the front desk were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. + Guests get a free pass for local public transportation if they book for at least two days, and additionally a free pass for the Nordkette cable car if booked for three days. I wish I had known this earlier. + Good breakfast with a wide selection of food.

- The TV in my room was a small and old Saba CRT unit from ancient times. The room where my colleague stayed had a flat screen TV, but the quality of reception was poor due to the use of an analogue antenna.

Very cozy hotel, view from the window directly to the mountains. I really liked the sauna and the pool, were satisfied. Small choice of menu, but the food was tasty. Thanks a lot for the hospitality :)

There is not enough parking, there are not many places, so if you arrive late, be prepared to look for a place. Few people speak English, it is a bit difficult to communicate, fortunately you can learn a couple of phrases to communicate, but if you know german :)

The town the hotel is located in is really cute, it gives small town vibes. The hotel has that same atmosphere. Front desk staff was really friendly and welcoming. Our room was really spacious. Buffet breakfast was good and fairly priced. The rooms are a little outdated but it doesn’t take away from the quaint atmosphere. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our room was a little outdated, and it is carpeted which we are not big fans of. The bathroom ceiling was low on the shower area and a tall person would have to squat/ lower their heads to shower. We were only there for one night, and I’m short so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall it’s a small detail and it didn’t take away from the experience.

Comfortable room, if a bit dated. Good size with added bonus of a balcony which was nice to have. Bed was comfortable. Staff are friendly. Although the hotel could generally do with a little TLC it nonetheless has a relaxed and homely feel and I was very comfortable there. My second stay and I would stay again. Good car parking provision and convenient for the ski bus or bus down into Innsbruck (transport is free with free Innsbruck welcome card provided by the hotel for qualifying stays). There’s a new Der Backer Ruetz cafe immediately next door, which is also convenient.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic if eating early - it seemed large groups from the adjacent club hotel took breakfast in the Edelweiss, which made for a very busy breakfast area - with some things like coffee/juice running out faster than the staff could replenish (not staff fault). Quality of the food could be better - I felt it was of lower quality than last year, when I also found the breakfast area much calmer.

The staff are very wonderful and the hotel is located in a beautiful little town about 20 minutes from Innsbruck. The hotel provided a Welcome Card which covered public transit as well as providing discounts for several cable cars, which was a very nice bonus. I was initially unsure about staying outside of the city, but Götzens provides a nice glimpse into a more traditional village life than Innsbruck, has a beautiful baroque church, and is also up in the foothills of the mountains, which makes it warmer than the valley. The bus comes every 15 minutes on weekdays during the daytime, and every 30 minutes on weekends and late at night. I liked my room and ended up with a balcony, which I hadn't expected, and the view was just gorgeous. The breakfast was pretty standard, nothing to write home about but comprehensive and good. I thought the employee at the front desk was wonderful - she was very friendly and had a lot of advice about visiting Innsbruck. The hotel was also quite well insulated and I imagine it stays very toasty all winter.

The mattress in my room was pretty hard and the wifi in the room was poor. Also, there was some mold in the shower but that's such a common problem in this part of the world that it didn't bother me at all.

Clean and spacious room, breakfast was nice especially ham and eggs. I came very late but they left an envelope for me so i can check in myself. I was a bit afraid from the reviews here but although it is an older hotel, it has very hot water im the tub, clean beds and towels and ofcourse privacy in your room. Im pretty happy with my stay and will definetly book again if i find myself in Innsbruck again.

There is a lot of parking spaces for this hotel, but the one that was free (big one) isn't marked with a sign or something, so it would be great to put signs on the road that will tell you this is the parking from the hotel.

The hotel is nice. I enjoy skiing at Axamer Lizum which is very close and you get easy on a free bus up to the mountains. Good location. The hotel needs renovation but still, you can have a nice stay. The view is beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and polite. The room has amenities and towels, but the duvet could be bigger as winter is not that warm. food was ok, if you chose the half-board option you can have an idea from my below photos. The drinks at the bar are very affordable. The food was ok, you have a buffet and some options to choose from for dinner. From Innsbruck HBH there is a bus that will take you to the hotel. You get a free city pass during your stay.

Needs a bit of renovation, I found a small bug on the chair where my clothes were. The water in the swimming pool is very cold. When you want to use sauna, first ask the reception to open it.
