Located in the middle of a quiet town. Really worth having a short walk around plus there is a hiking route going uphill past some castle ruins and further into the wood. Standard continental buffet for breakfast - muesli with yogurt/milk, eggs, pastry, etc. The radiator had a valve so I could close it and not suffer from overheating - super practical as temperature control is usually an issue in European hotels. Very clean overall. Sauna is included into the price. A lot of parking space

There are quite a few little things that may annoy you - the walls are super thin so you can hear the neighbours talk, the design is very far from modern minimalism, the ceiling is ~2,3m so the room feels a bit cramped, the lighting would feel very basic even 30 years ago, no shelf in the shower, etc. But if you set your expectations properly you will be satisfied

We love this beautiful hotel. We stayed there ten years ago and liked it so much we went back. Comfy plush beds and quiet rooms. Gorgeous Mountain View. Beautiful, sparkly, floral entry. Great breakfast with view of their lovely garden.

The only problem we had was opening the door to the balcony. It opened at the top, functioning like a window, but we never did figure out how to open it as a door. It was too cool to go out on the balcony, anyhow.

For the price, this is a all around great choice in the Saiser Alm region. The food and the drinks are really good. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The in-house spa is great. I can recommend this place without any second thoughts.

Rooms for 3 people have a small “extra bed”. Enough for a child, but not enough for a grown person. Also, service is a little slow.

Loved the traditional authentic feel of this Gasthof. Tastfully decorated. Cleanliness is a 12/10. Bedding is very comfortable. Very nice mountain view from balcony. Missed the breakfast but the staff was nice to pack us a little thing for the go. Easy available parking. available (direct) bus to the city center running continuously.

It may have been exceptional but the neighboring rooms were quite noisy

From the outside, the hotel looks like a classic Austrian house, balcony, geraniums. The house was nicely decorated from the outside. The interior of the hotel is very unique and not everyone may like it. We were amused by gold, silver, precious stones and a plastic toilet brush sprayed with gold spray in the room. I will be honest, I will not stay in this hotel again, we did not feel comfortable in it. However, this is my opinion and maybe someone else will be excited.

An incredible location, a friendly staff willing to explain to ignorant Americans how windows open in Austria (!), beautiful rooms and hallways, excellent food, and easy parking.

It was a very hot today 29 degrees Celsius so the room was boiling all night. It would be nice to have fans in rooms on hot days but other than that it was perfect

Price and quality. The wooden atmosphere is very pretty. Breakfast was really good.

The breakfast was amazing with gourmet coffees, cheese trays, fruit trays, meats, etc. The interior design is very unique and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Staff was very polite and helpful.

They didn't have a room for three people available when we checked in, which is what we booked. We were given two separate rooms instead on different floors.

Fabulous!!! I love all the small details in the hotel! It's nicely decorated: with love, and owner's style. I would love to come back again!
