Large room with beautiful garden view, quiet area. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from.

Housekeeping was below par, when they cleaned the room plenty of dust remained on the black table and also in the bathroom. There was too much noise in the morning for a quiet holidays, noisy doors and loud housekeeping announcements or door knocking. Separate toilets without sink was also not optimal solution.

Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf offers an excellent blend of comfort and affordability. The breakfast is delicious and diverse, catering to various tastes. The hotel is budget-friendly, with the added perks of being close to Schönbrunn Palace and the metro. The surrounding countryside adds a touch of tranquility, and the garden view with deer and birds is a unique feature. The staff exceeded expectations, especially when helping me purchase concert tickets.

The downside is the hotel's distance from Vienna's city center. If you plan to explore the inner city, be prepared for a long walk or using public transport. This hotel is better suited for those who prefer a quieter, more rural atmosphere.

We loved looking out at breakfast at the deer and other wildlife - a fox even wandered by. It was only a short walk to Am Schöpfwerk metro station. The family room was a decent size and there was plenty of wardrobe space. We liked the option of not having housekeeping and receiving a small gift as thanks.

The mattresses were too hard for us, and the pillows were very thick, again not to our taste. I really craved some bacon to go with the hot breakfast, and the showerhead in the bathroom dropped down (reported but not fixed during our stay). The room floors were a little dusty, too. And we could have done with more than three coathangers.

Excellent rate; quiet neighbourhood; fantastic breakfast - everything you can possibly imagine including fruit + an outdoor area to have breakfast if weather co-operative where in the distance there are grazing deer and a duck pond with a mini-forest; comfy bed; shaving mirror; plenty of closet space and storage for luggage in the room; drink machines for after hours; if you take a pass on getting room cleaned you get a small gift from the hotel; based on the price point and knowing how easy it is to get into the city I would stay here again

I had two weird support columns in my room - one in the bathroom that wasn't in the way; the other was between the bed and the table which blocked the view of the tv if you were to sit in one of the chairs - in short your annoyance level with this set-up will increase depending on how many nights you will be there and note this may not be true for every room in the hotel; no fridge in the room; open concept shower meaning water can go everywhere if not careful; no luggage folding rack despite all the room to store one; this didn't bother me but it is nearing the borders of the central VIE zone so a bit of trip to the downtown but multiple public transport options get you into the city quickly

The location is good. Close to metro U6. Safe and clean area. Breakfast is classic, nothing special. The room is clean and spacious. Beautiful view of the yard where ducks and deer walk.The hotel has several drink and snack machines with everything you need at reasonable prices.

The ventilation in the room rumbles, and it does not change if you change it yourself. The temperature could not be changed either, and it was sometimes hot at night.

It's very close to the metro station which makes it easy to reach the city centre (about 25 min). The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and the rooms have a decent size. Also the price is really good.

I could see that my bedroom wasn't as clean as usually a hotel room is. I spotted a hair on my shower head and some in the sink but nothing major. Another thing I didn't like was: I made a reservation and paid it upfront one room for one adult. After a week I contacted the hotel to change it for 2 adults since a friend wanted to join me. They refused and we had to pay for a second room. But our room was a double bed and could easily accommodate us in one room. I even checked at the time and the hotel had room for 2 available but still they refused. I felt like they were just cashing in.

The breakfast was awesome. And longer hours on the weekend. The room was quite small, but the right size for a small solo traveller. Bed is hard and comfortable. Hotel tries to be eco-friendly and offers to skip cleaning for a day or more and get some treats.

PLZ be aware that the hotel is near the church, and if you sleep not well, so you'll hear the bell rigning every 15 mins from the early morning. TV is kinda old-fashioned and there's nothing to watch on a rainy evening. The room was clean, but I've found some hairs and dust, that was not a big problem. While booking, mind the location. It's 5-7 mins from metro and 15-25 mins of the ride, still it was OK for as I was looking for smth like that.

Location: Far from the center, but very well connected by public transport (metro, S-train) approx. 5' walk from the hotel. There is a larger supermarket and pharmacy nearby. Very quiet street, and there is a beautiful garden inside the hotel. I arrived late at night so I checked in on my own (the reception is closed at night). The staff's instructions were precise and check-in was simple. Neat and clean room (bedding, towels) with a seating area. Good breakfast.

I would advise that breakfast be served until 11 am on weekends. I have the impression that the hotel has been renovated, but not completely (e.g. the wardrobe looked like a military one on the inside, and the bathroom had some limescale) .

The check in and out was smooth. Breakfast was great. The room was warm and comfortable. We even saw the deers in the morning, at breakfast.

There was some sort of party one night and they had loud music all night, until 2 am at least. And during that same night, not only was I woken up because of the music but there were also people shouting at each other, in the hotel, at 2am. I barely had any rest that night.

-My room looks larger and brighter than on photos, not sure if it’s upgrade for booking a week. -They encourage guests to reduce unnecessary daily housekeeping with snacks. -Breakfast in the garden with ducks and rarely seen dears(I only saw once during my stay) basically the breakfast is the same but there are loads of choices

-no refrigerator -construction next to the hotel. Not the noise but it somehow blocked the road -the self check in machines don’t work well, I was lucky to meet a receptionist after 10pm so she checked me in -couldn’t expand my stay
