It was our first time in Vienna, and we’re glad we chose to stay at Max Brown in the 7th District. The location was perfect, surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants, and just a short walk from the city’s main attractions. We loved the quirky décor and all the thoughtful details in the room, from the basketball hoop to the playful art and vintage record player. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our favorite part, though, was the hotel’s restaurant, we enjoyed it so much that we had dinner there twice!

Smart TV functionality was disabled on the TV. No coffee machine in the room.

for a business hotel: - no coffee in the room (just tea), not even instant coffee; you can go down in the morning and order/pay your coffee and take it back up (no thx) - small fridge/minibar would be great for longer stays - they only clean the rooms every second day now, which is super inconvenient and doesn't give a hotel feeling imo (you can call to get trash removed or towels exchanged - but still coming back into the room with bed not made etc is just not a vibe)

Our stay was just great! The room was spacious and nicely decorated, offered a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. We really liked the location - it was calm, charming, a walkable distance to various restaurants and bars, and very close to tram/bus stops (you can be in a city centre within 20 minutes). The staff was also helpful and kind. We liked the bar at the ground floor as well. Parking is available, though you can't make reservations (which is a shame but fortunately it was not that heavily occupied). In short - I highly recommend.

Wifi service was not ideal in our room, though it was not a problem for us (I guess it's good to confirm how it works and what's the reach, if that's important to you). A room could use some space to keep the clothes in (apart from hangers). I usually like to unpack, even for a short stay. Not a big deal as well, considering the size of the room. :)

Great decoration. Room was very spacious, a lot of space for two friends (very comfortable). Good bathroom with good shower pressure. Staff was super helpful and nice!! Very quiet at night and curtains made it dark so really good night’s sleep. Great breakfast albeit a little expensive. Also apparently very good restaurant but didn’t get the chance to try. Location is 30min walking from city center, but well connected by train and metro. Would recommend staying here! Especially because you get to experience a more “real life” neighborhood with amazing restaurants close by. Would only make two changes: more hooks in the room and bathroom to hang towels and a mattress that’s just a little harder (I suffer from back issues and a soft mattress is not ideal). Everything else was great!

Rustic style design-hotel with a photo-boot in the lobby plus turntable and and basketball ring in your room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Extremely good breakfast with plenty of food and drinks incl self-made juice. Friendly service. Not very close to metro, but not very far from centre - about half an hour by foot to Volksopera.

Some small issues (WC water kept running until you managed to shut it down, you cannot load telephone and keep the light on at the same time, lack of soap on bathroom wall, noisy ventilator) did not allow to put max points, but in overall it was OK. In the evening the hotel restaurant was very popular and busy, so you'll have to book a table before, but beware that your dinner could be quite expensive.

Large room following an upgrade. The room was beautifully decorated and there was a record player and basketball hoop which was a nice touch. The staff were SO friendly and left us a lovely note and some biscuits as it was our wedding anniversary. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and we’ll definitely look to stay here / other locations again in the future! Very comfortable and large bed. Easy walk to tramlines to get in to central areas.

The room was quite warm despite the aircon, I think this was due to the positioning of the aircon under the windows.

Everything about my stay was perfect: the comfort, the impeccable cleanliness, and the fantastic breakfast that exceeded all expectations. The location is another highlight—conveniently placed within walking distance of Vienna’s most beautiful sights. If I ever return to Vienna, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else. This hotel is now my undisputed favorite. Highly recommended!

Honestly, I couldn't find a single detail that didn't match my royal guest feeling. Every aspect of my stay was flawlessly aligned with comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality.

Very modern and funky looking hotel - the room was cool, furnished in a fun way, there was even a record player inside and you could play different records. The location is good, well connected to the city center and also reachable on foot. The breakfast was really good, I had the best homemade granola there, and everything else was super good too. Worth it just for that!

The room could be a bit more functional, for example there was no real closet with shelves / good storage for clothes and luggage. The bathroom was separated from the room only with a sliding door - and it had window "walls"/glass doors; it didn't really feel like a separate room (you could also hear everything), so that didn't give a lot of privacy.

The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included—the food is fantastic! The hotel restaurant was also an excellent experience, with delicious food and outstanding service. Be sure to book a reservation in advance, as it’s very popular! I’m already looking forward to staying at other hotels in Max Brown chain and hoping they expand to every city around the world!

I really liked the design of the hotel and the room. It was something you don't encounter often and the vibe is cool. It has cool features like photo booth in the lobby and they have a small cinema and they did a screening was The Eras Tour after the shows were cancelled which was very nice of them. We had a loft room so it was airy and spacious , there was enough storage and no small annoying shelves in the bathroom. The bed and windows were big. The reception was always super helpful and nice ! we used their help many times Location is not bad ,seemed safe and usually 30 minutes to most central places. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the bus/metro stops we used. It also had restaurants and grocery stores near it.

It was really missing a fridge where I can store some fruits and water. Small things - Shower is modern and has no door to close so you need to be careful not to make a puddle Bed position was a bit odd in the room
