Good, no-frills basic hotel within a reasonable walking distance to the old city, train stations and pedestrian shopping street. Bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants all nearby. Free wifi worked okay. Was perfect for what we wanted during our short family break in Vienna.

No real issues at all. The room was fine. The only comment might be no electric fans or air conditioners in room (Europe is quite hot during the summer now!). The noise of trams passing by outside was audible and there was also some noise from passersby plus nearby construction (not a major issue though). Breakfast was not included in the room price but could be purchased separately.

I like the location of the hotel, and because of the private parking vicinity, it is the third time when we booked this hotel on our trip to ski in Tirol area. The underground parking is very useful and has connection with the hotel plus, the hotel is located close to Maria Hilfer Street. The receptionist lady was very supporting helping me to open the parking barrier next morning. It is very tricky to open the barrier when you leave, you have to pay first at reception, they give you two tickets that you have to insert them sequential into the barrier opening device...

This time, the room they gave us was very small and basic plus, the parking is 19 euros per day.

Location is excellent-just a few tram stops from the museum quarter; a short walk to the shopping street Mariahilfe and also tbere is a small ahopping center about a ten-minute walk drok the hotel. A train station is nearby as well. The room is a good size, very clean; towels being changed daily. Staff is very friendly! There is a nice tiny Mexican restaurant in front of the hotel serving great cocktails. The German restaurant at the corner in the direction to Mariahilfe called Zur Mitzitant is worth visiting as well.

I wish they had a small kettle in the room. Also floor in the room was not sweept daily and the pillows are the worst.

Location is near perfect. It was within walking distance of historical central places to visit and sightseeings. We also walked to restaurants and shopping malls, max 5-10 minutes. It cost 35-40 euros by Uber from the airport; it was a more efficient transportation than the train for a family of 4. There is a tram in front, we did not feel any noise or discomfort. The design and furniture of the rooms were a bit old but clean. Those who expect an all-inclusive concept can look for another hotel, it was nearly perfect in terms of accommodation and transportation. You can drink tap water, which is also an advantage. I would also like to thank the lady staff at the lobby. The breakfast hall’s personnel were hardworking, I also thanked to them. If I go again, I would stay at this hotel again.

Some new varieties in breakfast would be good. Also a mini fridge in the rooms would be nice.

My wife, son and me stayed for two nights in the 3-bed room on the first floor. Regular beds were excellent, but additional one could have been better, especially matres. The room was large with a lot of space to put the luggage around, as well with a good wardrobe. A lot of air with good ventilation through big windows may be circulated to be fresh. The TV set was small and with very small number of stations, so it is practically useless. There was no equipment for making hot water for coffee or tea. There was also no fridge for cooling drinks or snacks, as well as the deposit (safe) box. The bathroom also has a lot of space and was practically perfect - the shower was excellent (high water pressure and intensive water flow), the tub was very good, body and hair shampoos in the bottles, a hair drier and a lot of toilet paper. The girls at the reception desk were very welcome oriented and ready to help. The repair worker was also very efficient and promptly available. We managed the parking of our car in the streets around since during weekends that is possible free of charge, otherwise the needed garage is directly next to the hotel and can be used with additional charge.

Additional bed was not appropriate since the space in the room allows even for the normal sized bed to be easily added. The size and functionality of a TV set is useless. No possibility for coffee preparation, no small fridge for a few drinks. But once again - the bathroom was excellent!

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I will come back again. They have excellent heating, which for me is very important for winter travel. The room was comfortable and clean, with lots of light. The Wi-Fi connection was stable, and the selection of TV channels satisfactory. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was nicely designed. The location of the property is very good in the sense that it is in a quiet street, close to many supermarkets, but the main shopping street is only five minutes away on foot. Public transportation is also close by. The reception is not open 24 hours, but there is a hotel close by that you can contact in case you need anything during the night. I would recommend this hotel to all types of travellers.

I liked everything about my room. I did not mind that some of the furniture was a little old - there is enough garbage on this planet without hotels throwing out every bit of furniture that has a little mark on it. When you are in Vienna, hopefully you do not stay in your room and inspect the furniture :-)

Hotel Kaffeemühle has really excellent location due to close vicinity of the two tram lines leading in some important directions (like Parliament, Westbahnhof for U connections, Prater, etc.). Parking garage is available at the site with very affordable 24 hour price, totally worry free if you arrive in Vienna by car.

A relatively worn-out hotel but still functional. The TV didn’t work (no channels available to watch), and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell despite being completely clean. Again, awesome location and being mostly outside made this hotel an excellent choice!

Really nice experience! The room was really convenient and one thing that left us absolutely satisfied is the cleaning room service ! The details to the cleaning process were on point and we really appreciated it ! Breakfast is not included in the price and the variety and quality of the options could be improved. Hotel Kaffeemühle is an excellent choice if you are searching for an accommodation that is close to the centre and combines both low price and quality! Auf wiedersehen !

The location is great. Very near to the underground station Burggasse Stadthalle for U6 (3-5 min. walk), with connections to many places of interest. In front of the hotel there is Tram 5 station and down the corner Tram 49 leading you to the Ring, Volkstheater. The hotel has a parking location for 19 EUR/day in Tiefgarage Lugner (an access card is to get from the hotel reception, before going into the garage, otherwise the fee is higher). The staff at the reception is very polite and helpful. There are maps of Vienna on the desk, or on a stander, close to it. The room is quite big (2 windows), very clean, having a desk, 2 armchairs, a double bed and a separate bathroom. Breakfast is served in a restaurant reachable in the groundfloor by lift. Food is excellent, wide range of products, coffee/tea, juices, meat and cheese products, fruit a.s.o.

There would be very useful to have a minibar/fridge in the room for a few days stay (2, in our case). Maybe a window net would be necessary to stop insects to fly inside. Otherwise, nothing bad to report.

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast tasty. As we travelled in winter, it was nice to have warm floor in the room. Plus we could park the car on the street next to the hotel for free because of the holiday

If you keep the window open at night, it's rather noisy because of the trams. We also had some problems with regulation of water temperature in the shower - it was Ok, then the next moment extremely hit or vice versa cold.
