Our stay here exceeded expectations. First of all, the spacious room deserves praise — a true rarity in Europe! Bright, cozy, perfectly clean, and just the right place to relax after a day of exploring the city. A special thank you to the host, Veronika: kind, attentive, and incredibly polite. She kindly allowed us to check in three hours earlier than usual, which was such a relief after our journey. Breakfasts were another highlight — not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with great attention to detail. The location couldn’t be better: right in the center of Vienna, everything within walking distance, yet still quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates comfort, warm hospitality, and excellent service.

For customers who are satisfied with "all that you need", this pension is perfect. I totally appreciated the large room with the big window and comfortable bed, The private bathroom was clean with hot water and fresh towels. Breakfast was fresh and varied and there was plenty of it! I really appreciated the generous serving of orange juice and hot coffee. Service was relaxed and friendly. The location is wonderful, just a short walk from all the action near Stephansdom if that's what you like, with a nice variety of comfortable and informal places to find food and drink nearby.

Room was spacious and clean. Towels were provided. Breakfast was prepared by the staff every day - exceptional effort! I personally loved the food even though it was a small selection (various types of cheese, yogurt, eggs upon request, selection of hams, selection of bread). Location is great because it is very near a lot of tourist attractions, Cafe Central being one.

The drain in the bath seems to be slightly clogged - water went down pretty slowly. Never overflowed while I was there though so I suppose it's still in working condition

Large room with private shower and comfortable bed. The private toilet was just nearby off the corridor. The host was lovely and the included breakfast was excellent (there were various breads, cheese, meats, avocado, eggs, yoghurt, oats, fruit and more). Also the coffee shop right next to the entrance to the building, Die Cafetière, had excellent coffee.

If you're sensitive to noise this might not be the place for you as there was the background noise of traffic (though not much during the night) and the walls are thin (though luckily my neighbours were pretty quiet). Earplugs are an easy solution. Also no ceiling fan.

I spent a day in Vienna. I arrived before check-in, and Veronica allowed me to leave my belongings and change clothes. The hotel was very close to everything and very clean, which was perfect for me. I've been abroad many times, but I've never seen such attentive hotel owners. Veronica was very sweet and helpful. Veronica, if you're reading this review, I've arrived in Budapest. Absolutely lovely hostess. We needed some extra help to find a doctor. She helped us big time. Beautifully furnished rooms in classic style. The hotel is positioned in the middle of everything. Perfect location and quiet. The breakfast is excellent, pretty and plentiful. I must say that I think that the place is a bargain. A sweet surprise. ❤️❤️❤️

I don’t have any complaints. It was all trough out lovely.

The location is absolutely fantastic . The breakfast was simply wonderful . We originally saw croissants and bread and thought that was it but the lovely hostess brought out a selection of cheese, meats, individual yoghurts and vegan spreads. All delicious. The room is very basic and slightly old fashioned but very clean and anyone travelling on a budget as we were will be very pleased.

For what we paid we were very happy

A great family pension with cozy feeling in the centre of Vienna. All the facility is spotlessly clean, rooms are spacious enough (I traveled alone and could totally see my room acommodating two people). There was a separate shower in the room and a toilet in the corridor, which absolutely did not bother me as I had it for myself and it was, as the rest of the place, very clean. Breakfast was amazing, good coffee and unexpected variety of bread. The location is perfect with Stepansdome and the historic centre being walking distance away while it's still very quiet. To top it off the owner, Veronika is very helpful. I would definitely consider staying again if coming back to Vienna.

As some mentioned the facility's equipment is a bit worn our BUT this in no way affects the general impression as it really is very well taken care of and clean. To me personally, it even added to the homey and cozy vibe of the place.

I had a very warm welcome and instantly felt appreciated. The room is exactly what you need for a short stay. The bed is confortable and the small bathroom has everything you might need. It's not luxurious by any means but it has everything you can ask for. On my last day I had to leave very early right when breakfast starts at 7:30. The person making the breakfast noticed and went the extramile so I could have a small breakfast at 7:15 already which was very nice of them. Pension Lerner is located at the "Graben" and within a 2min walk you are at the center with all the famous restaurants like "Zum schwarzen Kamel" and luxury shops like Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.

Both Theia and Veronika were excellent hosts, helpful in their suggestions, etc Would recommend a fantastic location, fabulous breakfast, and fabulous hospitality

Wasn't mad about separate loo,but that's nothing much.It happens in lots of places!I'm at the age where I have to use the bathroom constantly during the night!!
