Friendly multi-lingual staff, modern amenities, easy to check in & out, beautiful decor and with the unexpected delight of a balcony. We arrived tired and stale and very quickly felt revitalised. Excellent cocktails in the bar!

Huntertwasser would like the nature angle - the birdsong and jungle theme BUT it would be that much better with real plants around. As many as you can possibly fit in the foyer, on the balconies, by the windows, everywhere. The world needs trees, the cities especially so.

This is a very large hotel, right by the university. Everything is well-controlled & the staff is multi-lingual. You need your card key to take the elevator to your floor and I felt very safe. The room is clean, has a small, but good kitchen with microwave, refridgerator / freezer, sink, dishes, etc. The shower is exceptional with a rain-shower head and a regular head. Dual light switches, "romantic lights" behind the bed, TV, plenty of closet space, table, chairs, benches, electric rolluiken (rolling shutters), free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the morning. There is a bakery about a 1 min. walk with delicious rolls, etc. You do have to pay extra (€ 19 per day) for the garage (again, room-card controlled). It is a 6 min. walk to the tram & number 71 take you downtown to the major sights.

Nothing - everything was great !!

We had a really nice stay. The room was clean, stylish, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it.

The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s easy to reach by Metro, so getting around isn’t a problem. However, it would be nice to have a proper restaurant or more food options nearby.

There was a possibility to skip the queues and do self check in. Also, it was a very spacious and quiet room.

Kitchenette is given, but pots and pans should be 'rented' separately... There were crumbs below the table, so it was not completely clean.

Good vibe and nice atmosphere! The hotel is located near Vienna University, the heighbouhood seems quite new...the rooms are clean, nicely decorated and spacious enough for a family with 2 children. The kids loved the changing coloured lights at night! It was quiet during the night, we didn't meet any noisy guests...The underground garage is quite large and suitable for an SUV, but I'm not sure if a higher car with a roofbox can pass the entry. Breakfast does not offer plenty of choice, but it is tasty and includes some brazilian products, very interesting touch of local taste.

The metro line U3 takes you to the city centre in about 15 minutes, but you have to walk about 850 m to get to the station.

Clean, super cosy and spacious. The pillows were the best hotel pillows I have ever slept on and the duvet was so warm. The LED lights behind the bed really added to the cosy atmosphere. Shower pressure and temperature was fantastic! Staff were very helpful and kind. I booked this place off a review I saw here saying it's convenient location to airport and city centre and it really is. I'm a girl in my early 20s and usually find navigating in a new city hard but I found it soo easy!

As it is a studio type room with a kitchenette, having pots and pans would have been helpful. It does come with 2x mugs, 2x water glasses and knives forks and spoons and 2 small plates. But more equipment would have been helpful :)

Rioca is truly in a league of its own, by far the best accomodation we have booked. The distance to the city centre is compensated by great metro, tram and airport train connections. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed free coffee from Rioca. The room was cleaned, with a modern style and impressive facilities including TV, AC, bluetooth sound system, bed with RGB ambiental lighting, fridge, freezer, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and hair dryer. We loved Rioca and will definetly book again next time in Vienna.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rioca Vienna 2, and I can honestly say it was one of the most welcoming experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I felt the warmth and joy that define the alma carioca , that unique spirit of friendliness, openness, and genuine care. A special thank you to Rafael, whose hospitality and attention to detail truly stood out. But it wasn’t just him, every single member of the staff was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Their smiles, helpfulness, and warm energy made me feel more like a guest in someone’s home than a hotel visitor. I’ve stayed in many places around Europe, but this team was by far the kindest I’ve ever met. Whether it was a small gesture or simply a friendly conversation, they created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and uplifting. If you’re looking for a place in Vienna where service goes beyond professionalism into something truly heartfelt, Rioca Vienna 2 is it. Obrigada for making my stay so memorable!

The location is a little bit far from the city centre, but in a cozy district. The interior and the hospitality is great! And most of all I liked the Bluetooth mirror and table - having music all around you is just amazing!

The breakfast was a little bit poor, but there are some nice coffee spots around, so we had breakfast in there. Also keep in mind, that cleaning by default is only every 3 days.

The breakfast had many different options. Coffee was also great. Could have done with some bacon though. Location was great; the area was quiet and was only a short walking distance from the nearest metro station. Finally, I loved the interior design of the hotel room. Must also put in a good word for one of the receptionists (whose name I sadly cannot now recall, though I'm sure she will know who she is) and the kitchen staff, who went out of their way to provide me with an advance breakfast, as I had to check out very early on my last morning. That was very much appreciated!

No A/C, which made the room somewhat stuffy and uncomfortable at times. Other than that, not much to dislike.
