The room are big and spacious. They are clean. The location is close to the metro. Easy and regular transfer to the city centre.

The hotel is a bit outdated and needs a facelift. The breakfast area is crowded. The breakfast could be better.

Pretty close to subway, big clean room, comfortable bed.

Breakfast costs 17€, it’s a bit too expensive. Would be nice to have an option to take just a cup of coffee and croissant

The room was quite big and spacey, had good sunlight and curtains were good enough to darken the room in the night. Needed a toothpaste and reception provided it. The bathtub is always a good touch. Hotel has vending machines at reception and grocery shops quite close and about 6-7 mins walking distance to tram and metro. A bus stop is 1min away.

The room service was a bit slow, the towels were not always changed, bed sheets more folded than changed even though that we hang the clean the room card on the doorknob. Also there was a funny smell in the room when we entered for the first time as if the windows were closed long time before we us. It went away after letting some air in from windows though, so it was not much of an issue.

We recently stayed at Best Western Plus Amedia Wien with family and had a great experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are also large, though the shower pressure could be better in some rooms. The breakfast spread is very good, with quick refills and plenty of options. The location is super convenient – there’s a Lidl supermarket, DM, Anker bakery, and a fantastic Indian restaurant (Satraj) right next to the hotel. Public transport is easily accessible: bus 74A stops right outside, tram 71 is a 5-minute walk, and the U3 metro line and St. Marx S-Bahn are both about 10 minutes away. You can reach the city centre in just 10 minutes. Overall, a great value hotel by Vienna standards. We’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to other travellers!

Shower pressure in some rooms can be improved

Quiet rooms. Ours was facing the garden. Beds were also comfy. The parking garage had free of charge wall plugs to charge the car, but these were only regular 230V sockets, so you can charge only very slowly. OK if you can keep it plugged in all night.

The credit card reader did not work, so I had to pay in cash, this caused some confusion when checking out. The basement parking garage is convenient, but relatively expensive (€20/day). While the charging spot for e-bikes is blocked for cars, the other parking spot next to it where you can charge your car is not. In my case, another (non electric) car had blocked the spot, so it was difficult for me to charge my e-car. Would be nice to see this spot reserved for e-cars.

The hotel is located in a residential area, so you won't be able to meet hundreds of tourists. You can get to the city center by bus, metro, or by foot - 40 minutes walk. In the area, there are many restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and well-equipped. There was also a small sauna available in the hotel. The staff is very helpful.

The neighboring building is being reconditioned, so on weekdays after 7 a.m., the workers outside make a lot of noise. One thing that was quite surprising was the necessity of depositing 25 euros to use the bathrobe. And You have to go to the reception to borrow it, so You have to think in advance:)

Didn't avail of breakfast as we don't eat early,our room was lo Ely & spacious. One of our 2 rooms had a window that couldn't be opened had to borrow a fan

Location is outside the inner strat but a fabulous bus service outside,no.74,to Wien Mitte,the underground station where. 2 stops takes you to St Stephens Cathedral and centre of city.The bus also let's you off at the corner of the Stadpark where the Johann Strauss statue is and others and you can cross to Schewdenplatz for the major shopping area if you don't like using the underground. Plenty of shops/cafes on the street outside hotel.A favourite was Coffe & Friends, & the Mercure restaurant & bar! This was our second visit to this hotel!

The room, bathroom good.bathrom was beautiful with a buthtub. Staff excellent. Particularly the one lady in reception who even spoke my language Hindi was pleasant surprise, she helped us beyond my expectations .. Her help we will never forget .wifi good. Some staff helped us book a cab to airport.

The location.😒 Metro was more than half kilometer away, so also the nearest ATM. Only a small department store next to it .which declined my bank cards. I had to walk a kilometer to get cash at night to buy something. No good restaurants nearby. No bus or tram stop nearby. No soundproofing. Room was street side and sound of cars all night.

Best Western Plus Amedia is a very good place if you need to attend a show at " Cirque du Soleil" as it is only 10mn from walking. It is also not very far from the Underground train. There are several restaurants in the area at walking distance, a bakery and a nice Cafe (Cafe and Friends). So, we did not have to use the car once there.

The red color of the room is not usual and half of the family did not like it but... The bed was a bit noisy on one side (probably bit damaged - we did not check).

The hotel was relatively close to tram and subway and we could easily reach the old town or any other location. The underground parking at 2,10m was wonderful for our car with a luggage compartment on top.

The only problem was that, before I arrived, the hotel had blocked the price of the stay on my card. I payed at the reception on the first day but the money remained frozen. I asked the staff and they were rather dismissive of it, a couple of days up to a week and that's it... I left the hotel and nothing had been solved, so I wrote an email to the reception and , at 9 days after the payment, the sum for the 4 nights' stay was unblocked. In the response to my email, they said they had "manually unblocked" the money, otherwise it would have taken longer. Make sure you have enough cash when booking a room at this hotel, otherwise you won't be able to use your own money! And I also checked...I didn't find any information about blocking the sum in advance written on Booking...
