First of all, U3 station at 3 minutes walking distance, or 3 minutes driving from A4. For those coming by car, the APCOA parking, just in front of hotel main entrance, on the left. Easy to use, QR scan access and a fair parking price/day, for Vienna. I need to mention the shopping area (including grocery), just in front of U3 station. Back to hotel, great breakfast, 12 o'clock for check-out and plenty of other activities, at your service. Great spot for those in transit or as starting point for visiting Vienna. Just 15 minutes from Stephan Platz, when using U3 heading Ottakring. You can imagine, same 15 minutes, for coming back, heading Simmering. Keep in mind : "Wiener wasser kristallklar" - No need for bottled water anywhere in Vienna. Enjoy your stay !

Not related to the hotel, I've found the APCOA parking a little tricky. The QR scan access was not well advertised. No cons on the hotel.

The room is exactly as shown in the photos. The staff are friendly. For me, the advantage is that I don't have to hang up the “do not disturb” sign every day so that they don't clean the room. You can take towels yourself and return to the room as it was before.

I wouldn't call the internet high-speed, even short videos buffered. Perhaps it depends on how busy the hotel is, but there were glitches with the internet. The shower really does not have a door, which embarrassed my teenage son, but that's just for your information. There is a glass door, but it doesn't close to block others from seeing. I had no trouble relaxing in the lobby while he was taking a shower.

For the price, the room offered everything I could want - an extremely comfortable king/queen-sized bed, spacious and modern bathroom area, lovely table with complimentary water, coffee and tea, a safe box, a powerful hairdryer, hangers, as well as a luggage rack. The staff were also friendly and helpful with nearby food options on my first night, where I arrived late at night and most other places were closed. The air conditioning was powerful and made for extremely restful nights! The location was also convenient - a 3 min walk away from the train station, which was then only a 10-15 min ride to the city centre.

the breakfast is slightly pricey (18 euros) - I didn't personally have it during my stay, but it is pricier than other similarly-rated hotels I've stayed at

The hotel is located in the south of Vienna and very well located for both those who come by car and those who come by plane. The connections are very good. Metro station about 300 m from the hotel and in 10 minutes with a direct metro line (U3) you can reach Stephansdom. The hotel does not have its own parking, but there is a private parking opposite with a reasonable cost per night (8 eur). In addition, there are other parking lots in the area, also with a fee. The breakfast is very good, varied. You have everything you want for breakfast considering the number of stars the hotel has. The staff is welcoming. The room is clean, the room size is ok for 2 people. What is missing in the room's equipment? The fact that it does not have a refrigerator in the room. The hotel does not serve dinner, but this aspect is not a problem. The bar is very welcoming. In conclusion, the hotel is perfect for both transit and a few days stay to visit Vienna. You can have a wonderful stay in this hotel.

The rooms are simple and minimally furnished (for example, without carpets), but they were clean and comfortable during our stay. The bathroom design is more open, with a separate enclosed area for the toilet, which may be useful to keep in mind when it comes to privacy preferences. Public transport is available near the hotel, although we traveled by car and did not use it. While the hotel does not have its own parking, public parking is conveniently located on the same street. Entry, exit, and payment are fully automated, and contrary to some reviews I had read, everything worked smoothly. Communication with the hotel before our arrival was good, and check-in and other formalities went without any problems.

I cannot recommend Plaza Inn Gasometer enough – it’s an absolutely amazing place to stay in Vienna! The location is perfect, the rooms are impeccably clean and cozy, and the breakfast is simply incredible. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. During my stay, I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and kindness. However, it was after I had already checked out that their kindness truly shone. I realized, while boarding my flight back to Poland, that I had forgotten my AirPods in the hotel room. Feeling stressed and uncertain, I reached out to the hotel. To my amazement, the staff not only understood my situation but went above and beyond to ensure my headphones were safely sent back to me. Thanks to their incredible effort, the parcel arrived at my home in Poland, and I couldn’t be more grateful. This level of care and attention to detail is rare, and I’m still in awe of the kindness and professionalism of the team at Plaza Inn Gasometer. Not only did I have a wonderful stay, but this experience reminded me that there are still places where hospitality truly comes from the heart. Thank you for making my stay so special and for going the extra mile for your guests. I am deeply appreciative and would return in a heartbeat!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about my stay. Everything was perfect – from the cleanliness of the room to the amazing breakfast and the incredibly kind and helpful staff. I truly can’t think of a single thing to improve!

Solid. Exactly as advertised, normal hotel for a great price

The staff seemed super surprised to be recieving normal requests; borrowing cutlery from the front desk was a huge deal; i had to promise to bring it back. Borrowing a bowl was akin to commiting a murder and required a full jury trial. I asked if there was an outdoor hose i could use to wash of some muddy hiking gear and the woman at the counter nearly had a stroke, but then said just do it in the room shower ? Bit off but fine

Good location if you're just passing by Vienna. Very close to the autobahn, yet quiet area. Parking spaces available (public). Clean room, with kettle etc. Good enough breakfast. Gasometer area looked interesting. Will come back.

Would be helpful to be more clear on the parking - where it is, what are the rates, when it is paid and when it is not. Probably common knowledge for people from the area, but not when you're passing by which is probably common given the location? This would have saved me some time trying to figure that out. Anyways, didn't have any problem finding parking spot on the street, but it was Friday evening 10 pm. Beds are quite hard. Didn't bother us as it was just one night. Check-in/out was quite a long process, there was just one receptionist while the hotel isn't small.

The location! I have been to many places and this one was very clean, housekeeping was doing good job. Bathroom was nice and clean, 3 kind of soap: (body , hair , lotion) Great place, great location! A city bike drop off point just 5 minutes walk so from the main central station you can get here without using public transportation. Of course I was alone and had very little luggage, but Vienna is very bike friendly. Previously I was always driving to Vienna but the Train was much better and less tiring. The hotel area is also nice and quiet. In the evening I had a 1 hour walk and hardly meet anyone.

The tv wasnt working properly as the channels were keep flashing so you couldn’t watch anything. But i didn’t bother with it as i didnt really have time to watch tv, i only wanted to listen to some music while getting ready. (this is more like a feedback to the Hotel, (rm 209). Anyway, the bed was nice and clean, the mattress is strong and good condition, next time I will book for a double bed instead of a single bed room as this was only available during my visit. Overall i would recommend it to anyone! Great location, great hotel, great staff!
