Location very well placed. Staff very friendly, helpful and communicative. They offered the rooms 3 hours in advance. Beds very comfortable and large.

Unfortunately everything (maybe except the elevator) is very old and should be renovated. The lobby had an very unpleasant smell. I don't know how the receptionists can stay there for the working time. Except breakfast, no other service was available. Repair workings to the ceiling of the lobby were made. The acces from the parking in yhe hotel is very uncomfortable especially if you have a lot of luggage. No direct acces available.

This is a very nice hotel just a short walk from the centre of Brussels. The breakfast was good, if a little expensive, and the hotel has a nice classic feel overall. Also enjoyed the bar in the evening

This might be an unusual thing to comment on but when we first arrived there was some filming going on in the lobby/reception area, and it took quite some time to get checked in, while also being asked to keep quiet so we didn’t disturb them. That was a little bit frustrating but of course it’s highly unlikely to be a problem for most other visitors

We booked a long weekend at this hotel with friends and had an amazing experience. The location is right in the city centre so you can walk to many central places from there or take the metro which is also just around the corner. Despite that, it is very quiet even on the front side. The hotel itself is lovely, it has the charm of historical grandeur which we were looking for. Great service, big rooms and super tasty breakfast. We will return here if the opportunity arises.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Brussels. The breakfast was excellent, the location was convenient just a few minutes away from the Grand Place, and the cleanliness was impeccable

It’s a beautiful classic hotel with its old, classic charm. Amazing interior, really beautiful architecture. A receptionist was kind enough to show us around in the ground floor which used to be a cinema, now a ball room. Breathtakingly beautiful. The whole staff was always very kind, helpful and attentive. I can highly recommend it.

The street where the hotel is situated isn’t the nicest. It is not the fault of the hotel, as everything around the property is well kept and tidy.

Everything was perfect. The staff are fantastic and helpful, the room was enormous and the bathroom was too, they have a bidet, they offered complimentary bathrobes and slippers, it was a perfect temperature in the room in spite of it being very chilly outside. The pillows were awesome and the bed was enormous like a California king but since the room is so huge you don't get a good sense of it from photos until you're there. Both my partner and I slept a solid 8,5-9,0 hours both nights and it was one of the most relaxing stays. Quiet too. Luxurious feeling. Additionally, there is a metro entrance and exit right next to the hotel which was very convenient for us as tourists for heading to the farther out areas of interest but at the same time it's also walking distance to most interesting places.

Very comfortable and brilliant staff. Room was large and well furnished - albeit a bit stained. Breakfast food was excellent and had a good selection. Negatives below.

Breakfast ran out way before end of service, no hot food left an hour before the end. Coffee should have been better. Location was central but not near anything worth visiting. Despite being in a family suite, there were no facilities to heat up baby milk so had to make the trip down 7 floors to heat up milk in the middle of the night (staff were excellent about this though).

The hotel was very comfortable. We liked the decor& the room was very good. It was near the Metro station which was convenient.

We liked the bar but were disappointed when a group of children arrived & disturbed the pleasant ambience by making a lot of noise & running around. We felt this was inappropriate during the late evening while enjoying a quiet drink. Secondly, the location of the hotel, apart from being convenient for the Metro & near the centre of Brussels, is in a run down area & we felt uncomfortable when going out for dinner in the evening. It was disappointing that the hotel restaurant was closed.

Best staff in Brussels, and I still need to write a great review listing every single of the wonderful people always taking care of us! Stayed almost the entire week (extending initial stay of two nights), rested, and work almost felt like holiday! Superb beds too!

Would have like a few more room service options, but nothing really. Love this hotel -and that's almost impossible for Brussels hotels!

Great location, within walking distance of all central tourist sites, shops and cafes nearby, also close to the Nord station which is very convenient if you are planning to travel (to the Pairi Daiza Zoo for example). The room was large, bathroom too, 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. The furniture is a bit old-fashioned, but we liked it, contributed to the atmosphere. Staff was very nice and friendly, overall great experience in this hotel.
