Every day the room was cleaned and new towels were placed in the bathroom! Amazing, not even 5 star hotels do that! We loved the old architecture and especially the elevator! 😍 Breakfast room was also so classic-old style, wow! Really, unexpected.

Please turn on some music during the breakfast, it was very awkward as it was very quite and the person working there was just looking at us all the time (of course in order to see if we needed anything else, very nice but awkward). 😅

I liked how nice and accommodating the staffs were. The room given was spacious enough. The bed were comfortable and the little balcony is nice. The ventilation of our room was great as well, in a midsummer.

I hope that the maintenance regarding the cleanliness would improve. As well as to fix the telephone in the rooms, we wanted to communicate with the reception easily as we were at the 5th floor.

I went raving in Amsterdam and couldn't get a room cos of the Dutch Grand Prix. So I thought I'd sleep in Brussels instead! The toilet whirred, the breakfast was limited, but the view was spectacular and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were great. It's an old building and I loved that. Great great time.

It worked memorably well for me.

you get what you pay for: the basic amenities. The place is clean, there is a basic tv etc. It is also quiet as not many cars pass by.

free wifi is only provided at ground level, not in the rooms. There was no stopper in the sink, so a lot of water is wasted when washing.

Location All facilities, even clearly old they still work Modest but correct breakfast

It is a shame that such nice building it is in decadence with lot of space still availbale but not used anymore.

I have never stayed in a place with such a low bookings rating ! It is undeserved, the hotel would have been quite grand 50 years ago - and it is VERY tired, and not very clean. But it is cheap and in an A1 location. Dont expect much, and you might be pleasantly surprised like we were . Top floor rooms have balconies with good views over Brussels.

location was absolutely perfect. As a solo traveller I felt safe in the neighbourhood and also in the hotel. Room was a lovely size - also was happy with the balcony

there was only wifi in the downstairs reception area - I didn’t spend much time in the room so wasn’t too much of an issue for me but I know it could be for other guests

Excellent location.

There is no internet in the room, only in the hotel lobby which is really inadmissible especially if you’re on the 7th or 8th floor. Cleanliness and hygiene of the whole hotel should be improved.
