I had a great stay at The Usual Brussels. The staff was really nice and helpful. I arrived early and the staff tried to find me a room which was already cleaned, so I could already check-in. Thanks a lot. The location of the hotel is very central and close to the train station BXL nord. Due to traffic calming the area is very quiet. It's also very handy that the hotel has a small coffeeshop/bistro where they serve snacks and drinks.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. The rooms are very clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable with thick pillows and a fluffy blanket. I also really enjoyed the delicious coffee provided in the room. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They were always very helpful with any questions or requests. The location is perfect—close to both Brussels North train station and the city center, which made getting around very easy. I've stayed at this hotel twice now and both times had a room on the 8th floor. The views from up there are fantastic, especially if you’re lucky enough to get a corner room!

There was no fridge in the room, which would have been convenient. Also, the showers were not properly sealed, causing water to overflow into the bathroom whenever I used them.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is near the metro/tram station Rogier and also not very far from the center or the train station Brusel-Central. Night was quiet so we had no problem with any noise from the streets. The staff was really kind. The breakfast was ok, they had basically every day the same thing, oven baked eggs they made on request or any type of coffe as well. The room was clean, it was enough spacious (not so small, yet not too big) I would recommend this place for staying in.

The bed quality was not so good and was kind of deformed. Not a negative really but funny to me.. during showering when I had soapy hands I had issue with turning off the water it just didn't want to turn it off Also kinda didn't understand the logic behind the light switches ..

The location is excellent--a 10min walk from the train station that takes you to the Zaventem airport, Ghent, and Brugges. At train station exit towards the Centrum/Noordwijk street for a direct shot the Hotel (across the street from the Plaza Hotel). The staff very attentive and allow me to check in a lot earlier than policy time. I appreciated that enormously. The room was very small but enough for one person. I was out most of the day so it worked out. Bed comfy and clean. Shower worked well.

No fresh air as windows do not open to the outside. No place to put your suitcase (the floor worked but a bit inconvenient).

The hotel could not have been cleaner and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The WhatsApp concierge is a great touch and questions were responded to very quickly. Also lots of UK TV stations which made the evenings in the room bearable as I was travelling with my young son and stayed in. The location was satisfactory in that it was close (10mins walk) from the North Station and another 10mins in the other direction to the old town and all that it offers.

However, the local streets are a little run down and I wouldn’t want to walk them alone at night. I was glad to be worn out from full days of sightseeing so that we were back in the room for the evenings as I was travelling just with my young son. Was also surprised to find there was no wardrobe in the room, as it was just the two of of for a couple of nights, it wasn’t a problem, but might be a squeeze for two adults staying for longer.

The hotel location is amazing, the price was fair, and the service was outstanding since our check-in. We arrived a bit too early for our check-in, and even though the hotel has a self-check-in system, Daniel approached us and helped us to make the early check-in possible. Also, the hotel has a charming coffee place. We hadn't booked the breakfast there, but still we passed by to grab some bites and some great coffee. About the location, the hotel is located at the north part of the old town, but pretty much every corner of it is easily reachable by a maximum 10-minute walk The hotel and the room were really clean and cozy.

Very thoughtfully designed and cosy place, easily connected to the public transport and Brussel’s train stations. I really enjoyed design choices and little touches around the room that add to the overal impression and high quality toiletries provided are always great to see too. You can expect a high quality breakfast in their bar as well, selection is not so big but has more than enough for you to start the day!

Their smallest room was comfortable enough for a single person but it would’ve been great to have some chair while enjoying the complementary coffee in the room :)

The mattress was not that comfortable I think they have to pay attention to this and check mattresses from time to time. AC also need some maintenance I trust.it was cooling but not much -even though I was putting it on 19

The young lady that checked us in went out of her way to provide us with hot sandwiches in the cafe despite the late arrival hour. She also provided a seamless and friendly checkout experience in the early morning hours. We could easily recommend this hotel based on her service alone, but I should include that the room was clean and larger than expected, the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water and it is located 210m (less than a 5 minute walk) from the subway line that easily provides service to other parts of the city, as well as the main train stations.

We loved most things about the hotel. The location is as good as it gets - a few minutes walk from Brussels Nord and a very short walk from the metro, which is inside a mall. The street is lined with shops and restaurants and is generally a good, well populated area. The hotel as a restaurant/bar at the entrance, so you can grab a quick bite / breakfast / coffee. The staff was incredibly pleasant, friendly and helpful. The room was VERY clean and spacious. The bed was insanely comfortable, with some of the best pillows, sheets and comforter I've experienced. I slept better than at home, lol. We also had blackout curtains, which was very welcome. I honestly couldn't tell whether it was day or night.

The only thing we didn't necessarily love was the shower. The walls didn't seal properly with the floor, so water kept escaping into the bathroom. It was pretty annoying if you had to use the bathroom afterwards. Not a big deal at all, but if this didn't happen it would have honestly been a 10/10 experience.
