Nice staff, cool concept, and great location
We booked the deluxe room to have more space and indeed we had more space but it's just more empty space. A bit sad - the interior designer could have thought of a better way to arrange the room. Why 2 TV in a room with only 1 double bed - the 2 TV cannot be on with sound at the same time for obvious reasons. Unless someone just watches TV with no sound. A sofa area could make sense maybe? Or even a sofa bed? And rooms with 2 single beds should be an option too I think. In short: the room felt big but empty - can be improved.

The hotel is quite impressive as it is converted from a church which appears to have the original stained glass windows and altar piece. My room was in the monastery section with a small balcony overlooking the patio (which was not in use during my stay). The room was very spacious with windows on both sides so excellent cross ventilation. There was very little noise from outside even though one wall was facing a street. The bathroom was very nice with a deep tub and shower. Breakfast was buffet with a wide array of foods and breads.
The chaise longe in the room was a bit shopworn and had stains. The end table had water damage from cold beverages. I used only the sheer curtains in the room at night for ventilation with the windows open. However, the lights on the patio were left on all night which made sleeping difficult.

Certainly a different experience but loved it. Cleverly converted into a hotel. Having a bedroom with stained glass was a hit & has left us with a special memory. Huge array at breakfast & again a wonderful setting but see comments in what I didn’t like.
The queuing & battle to sit at breakfast marred the experience as did the huge queue to check out, especially when everything had been paid for & all we were doing was returning the key. At breakfast there were insufficient seats with no staff assisting the queue. It all seemed a bit chaotic. Maybe it would have helped for guests to choose a time for breakfast rather than having some 20 people standing waiting for others to finish.

Great room with a comfy bed. We didn't have those beautiful headboards like in the pictures, but it was nice. The coffee machine, safe and fridge - everything was working and clean. Great location on a quiet street, just 5 min walk from a cheap parking... The city centre was less than a 5 min walk away. Amazing locations! Especially, when the roadworks will end :)
The breakfast selection was pretty small, it wasn't worth its price. You get much better quality and choice in any cafe just a 4-minute walk away from the hotel. There is very little space to store your suitcase and clothes in the room.

Wonderful welcome, lovely location. Very large and clean room with a large and comfortable bed.
I hadn't appreciated the lack of natural light in the room (with the windows effectively being blocked off with the replica stained glass) and the bathroom needed some ventilation, meaning it took a long time for the steam to clear in order to be able to use the mirror.

The breakfast was really excellent. Fantastic choices for all tastes and a really interesting room (although not if you don't like churches). My room was very good but not brilliant. Staff were really great, very kind and very helpful.
Would have been good to have a comfy casual char in the room but maybe that's because I had a cheaper one.

The hotel itself is stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the dining area was a huge draw. However, my favorite part was the staff. They were so helpful, kind, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Parking was easy to get to and near the hotel. The hotel is conveniently close to all the happenings around town but not too close that it was loud nearby.

Lovely building and the room was a great size. Bed was comfortable. Good shower. Water supplied in mini fridge. Location is also good. Easy to walk to city. But getting to hotel by car was difficult.
Took a long time to find hotel by car. So many closed roads and special driving limitations. Would be good if that was registered via the hotel site. We ended up parking in a garage that was 5 min walk whereas took us 30 mins going around in circles by car. We did not take breakfast as feel 23 euro per person a little overpriced. Only a coffee machine in the room. Nothing for tea drinkers.

Dining room looked awesome although we didn't eat there. Good location, easy walking distance to city centre.
Strangely, the bedroom didn't have any drawers for storing clothes and the full-length mirror was half obscured by the safe/drinks unit. Otherwise very good.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. It’s a few minutes walk to the cathedral, restaurants and Saturday market. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is very clean.
No kettle, tea or milk in the room. There was a coffee machine with a couple of pods but no milk. My husband drank the coffee black but I missed a cup of tea.
