Only 30 minutes from Sarajevo by car, the location was fabulous. It is quite adjacent to the pine woods (hence the name Pino I guess) where you can walk for hours and, if you're lucky, you'll meet wild horses grazing nearby (real wild horses, no owner). Besides, I guess it was the nearest hotel to the cable car station where you can ride down to Sarajevo. The hotel is close to the station but you need to walk uphill quite a bit to get there, since vehicles are not allowed beyond a certain point. Mind the "no vehicle entry" signs. Took us 30 minutes on foot to get there. Don't miss the cable car ride if you can. We enjoyed the outdoor ground floor terrace. It was summer and I'm sure the snowy view would be great in the winter. Note that the hotel surrounding areas are weekend/holiday destinations for Sarajevo's local residents. They bring their food and spend full days there with their kids which makes the area quite busy at these times. The mattress was hard and I like it this way. The pillows were good too (not too soft). The water pressure was good, and a hand spray (shattaf) is installed near the toilet seat. The toilet/shower appliances are top-notch (Villeroy & Boch, Hansgrohe). Impressive. Staff members including janitors speak English perfectly. The kitchen and the restaurant servings are 100% Halal compliant.

The TV in the room was not smart. That was a pity and unexpected. The breakfast, which is my most important meal of the day, was mediocre. The buffet items run out quickly and take a long time to get replenished. Flies were abundant in the restaurant. The hotel management needs to find a solution to this problem.

The location is magical — surrounded by pine trees with beautiful trails for hiking and outdoor calisthenics. The atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing. The restaurant was excellent, especially breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — special thanks to Edin and Gorana for their warm and professional service. They truly made the experience better.

While the staff were kind and did their duties, room service needs improvement. It would be great to see more responsiveness to guest requests, along with better daily room cleaning and organization. Providing affordable laundry service or at least an iron would be helpful. Some basic additions like regular complimentary drinking water, refreshing the room décor, and updating old bedding (which sometimes feels dusty) would significantly enhance the comfort of the stay.

We stayed at Pino Nature Hotel as a family and absolutely loved it. The location on Trebević mountain is beautiful, and the fresh smell of pine trees surrounding the hotel is amazing - it really adds to the feeling of being close to nature. The hotel itself is warm and welcoming, with comfortable rooms and great facilities. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the easy access to outdoor activities in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. It’s a perfect place for families looking to relax in nature while still being close to Sarajevo. We’d happily come back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pino Nature Hotel and would gladly return for another adventure with family and friends. The service was exceptional, and the location is perfect—surrounded by beautiful nature and close to many interesting activities and destinations. The natural setting was both relaxing and inspiring, enhanced by the hotel’s charming design and aesthetics. Breakfast was outstanding, and I loved the variety of seating areas in the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

Exceptional location and quality of room and service from staff. Room had a treehouse feel but when reflecting on the decor the design actually tells the story of history. Cleverly designed, Was so sad to leave. Food quality also very good and affordable. My first experience at a Halal alcohol free hotel and i loved it! Staff were so polite and dignified and the spa also caters for female guests. Felt very safe. Excellent deserts. Hot chocolate put me nicely to sleep by the wood fire. Great walking trails from hotel, panoramic view of Sarajevo and gondola down to old town.

Location Location Location! the best retreat from the busy Sarajevo atmosphere. being able to do hikes and come back end of the day and use the swiping pool or visit the city and come back to tranquillity. for kids it was a good escape and distraction.

for summer there is a lot of light, rooms did not have enough curtain covers due to room and window shape lots of light enters room really early. a car rental is a must unless you call taxi companies personally to pick you up which could be hard due to location and other internal issues. also taxis in the city will think twice about the drive this is not the hotel issue but for ppl to head the warning. in terms of pricing for food etc you pay premium for location so expected when you eat in ski resort vs a town

Excellent location in the forest but still only 20 mins from the centre. We had a lovely, spacious 2 bedroom suite with spa access. The pool and sauna were empty, so as a family we had it to ourselves. Enjoyed a great massage by Gorana. Plenty of walking trails nearby. The cable cars were nearby and the bobsleigh track. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Great food in the restaurant and reasonable prices. Loved that it was a Halal hotel, with no alcohol.

Most of the staff were great, just the manager was a bit abrupt in manner. The price of the airport taxi was high, but we arranged ours at half their price through booking.com

- Great location, nice and quiet and in the mountains, Only 15 minute taxi ride or a 10 minute cable car ride from the city centre. Lots of nice hiking and walking trails nearby. - Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early at the hotel and they kindly gave us a room straight away. They gave us lots of good tips and advice on how to enjoy our stay. The front desk staff, Fuad, was especially nice and very helpful. - Room was lovely, spacious, clean, cozy and well furnished. - Facilities were great, lovely cafe/restaurant, nice size swimming pool and saunas. - Food was so delicious, from the breakfast to the restaurant menu and desserts. - 100% halal hotel meaning no pork or alcohol served. - We were able to checkout late for free too.

Pino Nature Hotel is a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature just a short drive from Sarajevo. It has hiking trails starting at the base of the hotel as well as fluffy dogs and beautiful, wild horses on site. The rooms are a good size, mine had a small balcony, ideal for reading and enjoying the sunset. Breakfast was great with a variety of options. From check-in to meals to check-out, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is plenty of parking making it super convenient for those driving in.
