1. Beautiful scenery. You can take wonderful walks and the views are lovely. 2. The room was nice and comfortable, very clean. 3. The spa is really good. There is a sauna, a steam room, and the pool. We really enjoyed it and everything was very clean. There are massages and facials available for additional cost (the massage was nice, but note that they're over 100 BAM each). 4. The staff is helpful and friendly 💛 5. Although we did not use the gym or rent bikes, it seems that there are a lot of cool activites available for a longer stay.

1. The restaurant is average and there's not a lot of options. Prices of a five-star restaurant but not the level of it (just an espresso is 4 BAM) There are no other restaurants nearby so if you're a foodie you're kind of stuck with that. 2. The target audience seems to be young families so it can get noisy, even in the spa. Great outdoor activites for kids too! But maybe not the place for young people looking to chill

Our stay at the Tarçin Forest Hotel in Bosnia was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was a place where hospitality reached new heights. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Adelisa, Mohamed, Mansoor, Damer, and Nermin, who went above and beyond to make us feel like a part of their Bosnian family. Their warm smiles and genuine care for our comfort made our stay truly unforgettable. The hotel itself is a haven of tranquility nestled in the beautiful Bosnian forest. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated,. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the scent of pine trees was a dream come true. The hotel's amenities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch. After a day of exploring the surrounding nature, it was a pleasure to unwind in the spa, and the professional staff there made sure we were pampered to the fullest. The first thing you will like about this hotel is the positive energy of the staff. They spread joy in the atmosphere and they like what they are doing. The view from the Ground Floor Terrace is breathtaking, particularly when having breakfast or at sunset. The rooms ae clean and spacious, and the balconies are wide. The breakfast buffet is very well diversified, I felt nothing is missing. I moved between three hotels during my stay in Bosnia, and the breakfast of this hotel was the best among them. The food ordered "a la carte" for lunch or dinner is super delicious too. Although the TV was not smart, it had the mirroring feature so I was able to cast movies from my mobile Apps and watch them on the TV with a very good resolution. The WiFi signal in the hotel is strong and has an adequate bandwidth. Finally, you don't want to miss the taste of their Espresso coffee. It's fabulous. You'd also enjoy a walk in the adjacent forest.

The bed pillows are terribly soft, and putting two together does not help. I had to buy personal pillows from the market. There's normally a queue at the toaster during breakfast. Adding a second toaster would be nice.

The hotel is beautiful with a perfect location surrounded by nature and mountains, which makes it very relaxing. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are friendly, helpful, very kind, and always smiling. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and delicious, and the hotel’s restaurant is excellent. I also liked the extra services like offering scooter, and bicycle rentals. What I appreciated the most is that the hotel is very suitable for Muslim families, as they do not serve alcohol. I sincerely thank them for this, and I pray that God blesses them, grants them more success, and puts barakah in their place. Overall, it’s a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back again.

We stayed at Tarcin Resort and were truly impressed. This place is a real hidden gem — ideal for anyone who values peace, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is serene and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the chaos of daily life. The rooms and common areas were exceptionally clean — you can really feel that hygiene is a top priority here. It’s one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in, and that alone deserves praise. Every morning, we were greeted with a generous and varied breakfast. So many choices! And everything was fresh and delicious. The meals during the day were also top-notch — fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. What made our stay even more special was the staff. Everyone was helpful, kind, and always ready to assist, with a warm smile. A special shout-out to Damir, Alen, and Adelisa — each of them made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Their kindness and professionalism made a real difference. There was also a gentleman at reception whose name I, unfortunately, forgot — but I can’t leave him unmentioned. He was just as wonderful: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. People like him make a place unforgettable. We also did a quad tour, which was a lot of fun and very well organized. The guide was professional and made sure we felt safe while enjoying the adventure. Another thing we appreciated was that the hotel really listens to guests’ needs and preferences. You feel like you’re being taken care of in the best way. All in all, I highly recommend Tarcin Resort. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy nature, eat well, and be treated with true Bosnian hospitality, this is the place to be.

Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The staff was friendly, and we got a free upgrade to a room with a better view. The bed was big and comfy, and the balcony had an amazing view. Overall, a good stay.

Dinner was just okay, nothing special. Our duvet cover had a huge rip on the side, but it was late at night when we noticed, and we couldn’t be bothered to ask for a replacement. The overall cleanliness of the room could have been better. Nothing alarming, but not quite up to the standard of a 5-star hotel. The glasses weren’t clean, and there was trash in the bin. The bathrobes had holes and rips.

This is simply one of the most magnificent hotels you could dream of staying in - the photos do not do it justice! It is a purpose built architectural work of art at the top of a mountain and overlooking a valley, you simply won't find a better view from a hotel in Bosnia. The staff were great, the breakfast and lunch/dinner buffets were lovely and the place has to be seen to be believed, it really is that special. There is an amazing games space, conference facilities, onsite 'farm' for younger kids, endless grounds/land to walk in, access to all kinds of outdoor activities (as you are literally in the mountains!), plenty of free parking and the entire atmosphere is very classy and cosy.

There is not much you can fault with this place - it's amazing. Perhaps the only detail is the lack of supportive pillows (they are all thin/soft which isn't ideal if you prefer firmer pillows). The other thing is that the A/C was turned off in our rooms (it was October when we went) as they said 'why would guests need A/C in the winter?' It would be nice to have A/C as an option all year round for when the room gets too warm/stuffy.

The location of the property is awesome, we booked the deluxe room with balcony and the views were just amazing, there was a village down below, so we could see the different types of homes the locals live in, which was really sweet, some even had farm animals. Beyond the homes was the mountains, which looked spectacular!!

The choice of breakfast was very limited. The main restaurant food was nice, but again limited and not the traditional food we had in Sarajevo city. I was disappointed that the traditional Cevapi was not available at the hotel, so best to have that in the city. The forest was nice, but not well sign posted for hiking, also the forest cafe only serve food on the weekends, but serve drinks throughout the week, which was a bit disappointing, as we fancied a pizza from the forest cafe on a Monday. Most of the forest activities are for children, including the horse riding.

The location was good, but the staff were over the top amazing! They were all smiles, quick, and extremely helpful! I enjoyed my conversation with Ahmed (He was the Supervisor I believe), and enjoyed my Quad rides with Emir as the guide (Emir was amazing!). They had some animals as well that would gladly eat leaves out of you hand! Although I spent 2 nights at the property, I definitely needed more time to explore the vast facilities they had to offer. For example, they had a gym, spa, and pool that I didn't make use of because I was enjoying everything else. Moreover, the restaurant was amazing and, in my personal view, affordable!

I stayed in a Villa, which was a mistake on my part as not all Villas have a mountain view. It really sucked have a road as the view from the balcony. Next time, I will definitely not believe Booking, and call the property directly to make sure my stays contains the breathtaking mountain view!

The location and the view are exceptional.

The hotel is partly worn down, there are many things that looked unfinished or unrepaired. The pool and the spa is constantly overcrowded. The pool ist to small and 70% od the guests are families with children. So there is no chance to have some peace of mind as you would expect when you book an forest resort. The prices are to high (you pay 19BAM for a club sandwich, 3.50BAM for an espresso etc.). The rooms are not 100 clean, and the rooms are to warm with no option to control the temperature. Its an good hotel but definitely not an 5 star experience and not what we expected when ee booked it.
