I've stayed in a few Rio hotels over the years and this was my best experience so far! Marcelo and the manager Ricardo gave me a warm welcome in the stylish lobby when I checked in early. There's a sauna and cool rooftop pool with a view of the Christ statue and the sea; with a nice breakfast included too, it's really great value for the price. (I've stayed right on the Copacabana seafront at the Astoria but the the price was higher and the staff were less welcoming; here you're only a block away from the sea). I'm definitely staying here again for longer when next in Rio. The only thing I would improve in my room would be: a small desk (i had work to do on my laptop) and cleaner windows. But overall this was a great experience. Thanks to all the staff at the Premier Copacabana during my one night stay, 5-6 June '25. Top professionals.

Breakfast was very good, good selections to choose from. Front desk Staff, Restaurant Service, here are excellent, very attentive and takes their time to explain so that they are clearly understood. Room is always very neat, floor is always ‘sand free’ though I know, not intentionally, bring them into my room daily.

My air conditioner is a bit noisy

This budget hotel has a good location near Copacabana Beach. I especially loved the view from my room. The breakfast was delicious, and the food overall was amazing. On the downside, the air conditioning in my room (on the upper floor) was quite noisy, like literally a machine running next to your ear... However, I noticed that some of the renovated rooms have newer, quieter units, so that’s a plus. The staff was professional but quite serious; it would’ve been nice if they greeted guests with a smile or a simple hello—it really makes a difference.

I don’t like the fact that for the checking-in they want you to use a tablet which is fine. But, when entering the information, it will ask you for information for Brazilians even though the language was changed to English. This was my fourth time I stayed at the hotel, and I always have the same issue. When I bring it to the attention of the staff, there has been one or two people not very happy to help you. I hope the administration will read this message and fix the issue.

The Premier Hotel is around 10 min walk away from Copacabana beach. The metro is just on the other side of the street. The rooms are big and cleaning is done every day. Staff is super nice and attentive. Breakfast buffet.

The entry cards to the room were deprogramming themselves kind of everyday, that was annoying to change them often. The AC is loud as a plane next to your bed, we weren't using it. The price / value for me personally don't work.

The location it’s great the staff is very friendly

The beds and linens need an update; you can feel the resorts are outdated. They left some waters in the fridge and they restock it daily without ask and even we left most of them on the fridge they charge us a really high fee for this bottles of water. Bring your own water from the first day Pool area it’s really simple

The staff were really helpful. My girlfriend couldn't come down for breakfast twice. The hotel let me make her up and plate and they took it up to the room for her.

The shower wasn't the most powerful. Also the lifts were a bit slow and the buttons didn't always seem to work.

The location was very convenient - right across the street from a Bike Itaú rental and a metro station; a few blocks from the beach. The restaurant next door had great food and live music. The view from the rooftop area was great. We didn't use the pool or gym but they looked great. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone! The staff were friendly and very helpful. We also appreciated the late check-out option, as we had a 1 AM flight.

Noise from the street, even with the double windows, made it difficult to sleep for a light sleeper like me (even with earplugs, though the fan helped). Traffic on that street was not too bad at night but started up very early in the morning. I should have requested a quiet room when I booked. I did after the first of 4 nights but they were unable to move us to the quieter side of the building. (However, they did give us 2 rooms next to each other, which was the special request we made - can't have it all!)

Breakfast was OK. Rooms were a bit old but in a really good condition. We came to know the owner, an Spaniard who even helped us booking a tour to Petropolis and then back to the Airport. Something incredible!

I was sure that a free taxi ride to airport was included by booking 5 or more nights, but it didn't happen. No other problem noted.

Lobby staff were helpful, as we didn’t speak much Portuguese. Helped us book a boat tour of nearby islands the night before the tour. Room was nice, good AC. Nice shower pressure. Breakfast spread pretty big, eggs, cheese, breads and lots of fruit variety. Location awesome! 10 min walk from beach. Lots of shops/dining options in walking distance. Roof top pool stunning!

Roof top pool was ICY cold, we were the only guests up there that dared to go in. (We did go during Brazils winter, but temps still in high 70’s/low 80’s) Room only had 2 pillows. Hallway outside room was a bit musty smelling and a bit low lit.
