This is a wonderfully restored and maintained 1910 townhouse. It is in a great location - approximately 10 min walk from both the bus station and train station, as well as from Kapana (downtown area with pubs, restaurants and cafes) and the Old Town. The central square and the city garden with the "singing fountains" are located in the immediate vicinity. The host is extremely welcoming and friendly. And I guess we are going to book a room here again quite very soon :)

There is not really a parking lot attached to the property and it guesthouse is located in the heart of the blue parking zone. So, for the working days one should keep in mind to budget an additional parking cost for the zone or nearby paid parking lot, or to park the car at about 15-20 min walk, outside of the zone. However, there is a solution for the weekends (Friday after 6:30 PM - Sunday) and the host will inform you about this option. It was absolutely convenient, so we had to pay something like just 4 hours in the blue zone for our weekend stay. There was no hand towel in the bathroom and no hairdryer in the room - which in no way affected the wonderful stay, it would just be nice to have :)

The rest in this apartment was successful. The host took care of our rest. The apartment was clean, comfortable. The location is good, 15 minutes to the railway station, 15 minutes to the bus stations, they are located in the area of the railway station. On foot to the center 15-20 minutes, by bus 10 minutes.

When we wanted to wash our clothes, we were told we had to pay. When booking the apartment, it was stated that there was a washing machine, but we were not warned that this was a paid service.

The rooms are on the top floor of a house belonging to an important philanthropist family in Plovdiv, so this was a lovely surprise. The house is old and historic. The room was humongous!! And it featured the traditional beams in the walls and roofs of these older houses. The location is super convenient and central. The hosts were super flexible and approachable despite a big delay in our arrival and check-in. Will definitely stay there again!

Not much to fret about - perhaps that there's no lift for heavier bags and our room didn't have a private balcony, but we expected these things. PS. The coffee station is in a little hallway shared between all the rooms.

It's a beautiful well preserved and maintained historical building rich in cultural heritage. The house was one of the many properties that belonged to the tobacco businessman and philanthropist Dimitar Kudoglu born in 1862. This building is maintained from his relatives and they did amazing job in restoration so the beautiful charm and spirit of the building's exterior and interior shines through. I loved the old wooden stairs, the original tall ceilings, the wooden doors with original brass door knobs and the wooden ornaments depicting floral motifs, birds, animal heads, etc. The walls of the hallways shows old family members portraits and one who values authentic history experience will get inspired from this walk down the time line. I can't praise enough the current owner who put his heart, mind and investment to make this beauty stand out. He really cares for what he does and I am happy I got lucky to see this beautiful architectural treasure from inside and got to spend 5 nights in the romantic newly revamped room at the attic with a brand new bathroom unit and furniture. I loved the esthetics and the interior designers choice as well, especially the fact that the original wooden floor has been preserved and presented the best possible way.

Slow internet connection.

Atmosphere! Its an old family home with a story, and one feels it. Location is absolutely ideal. A fabulous park to cross. And one is in the Old City already!

It heats up and rooms get stuffy especially on the top floor. This cannot be helped - its quite natural on days hitting a max of 30 degrees C!! ☀️ The trick is to use the AC and ventilating in an optimized manner, and then all is cool 😎

Excellent location, very close to central pedestrian, and close to central bus station, road full of nice traditional buildings. Room in basement was big and very comfortable, clean with modern decoration.

Luxurious bathroom as shown in pics but unfortunately no hangers at all to leave your towels on. Sadly, the contact with the manager of reservations was really hard, retarded or even ignored, except if the subject concerned payments and money. Dont expect to hear any "welcome" or "have a nice stay", the man is just a cash machine.

Good location next to the park and city center. The bathroom was clean and recently renovated. There was an AC unit. We could arrange an earlier check in, and we were greated by a friendly host.

There was no hairdryer in our room, there's no elevator and our room was located on the last floor. If you sleep with the windows open, you can hear the nearby traffic as it's next to a main road.

The house and the rooms have a very cozy and welcoming vibe. The location is perfect as it's right next to the city centre but it's in a quiet place at the same time. There is a smoking room on the top floor, and a coffee machine right next to it, making sure even smokers have a comfortable stay. The staff were amazing and made us feel very comfortable throughout our weekend stay. I confidently state that this is the best place for a casual stay in this beautiful city. I definitely recommend!

My only complaint, which is an easy fix, is that there were only 2 wall outlets in the whole room we did not have a nightstand on one side of the bed. Also, there were no water glasses in the room itself which is not a concern at all, just something I've noticed while staying at other places.

Very clean and comfy, and the AC is a life saver. Checking in and out was seamless. Excellent location.

Small things that would matter were missing, like towel rails in the bathroom. Just two electrical sockets that weren't positioned greatly. It would have been nice if coffee was complimentary.

We were late arriving due to a change in our train times but the host reassured us he would wait to allow us entry. We had the basement studio and it was lovely. Large and modern with a comfortable bed and good shower. Fabulous location with just a short walk to the centre through a lovely park.

A hairdryer would be good.
