This hotel never fails, this is our 3rd time coming here and every time, same comfort same cleanliness same warmth. Perfect

Perfect location with lots of shops, restaurants and park nearby. There is a lot of space in the room. There is hairdresser on the ground floor.

During the hot summer 42 degree it is a big problem the poor Air conditioning. Really poor. One of the girls on the reception desk- receptionist was not very helpful. She ordered for me a taxi without information when the car will arrive or the name of the taxi company we expect. The answer was "I don't know the name of the taxicompany I called a few minute before" (!?!). So the taxi arrived (but not in front the hotel, we don't understand where), we missed it. After 20 minutes waiting on the 42 degree outside, we asked the receptionist to check what happened with the taxi. Then we understood that the car arrived (we didn't know where) and passed. So we ordered for the second time taxi and we late almost 1 hour.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ego! The hotel was extremely clean—we were genuinely impressed. The bathroom was spotless and shining, and even the balcony looked freshly washed. The room was very comfortable, and the overall cleanliness truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect—close to everything we needed. Considering the quality and service, it was great value for money. We were really pleasantly surprised!

The only downside was that the hotel parking lot was full, so we had to park outside and pay for parking. It would have been more convenient to have a guaranteed spot as it was supposed to be included.

We booked a deluxe suite with a large king size bed and extra sofa. Room was large and full of traditional furniture, we even had wooden shutters on our window. Comfy bed, clean room, flat screen TV and small kitchenette. Large tiled shower with endless amounts of hot water. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with plenty of continental or cooked options. Parking next door was free and the hotel was surrounded by parking. Directly opposite is no19 Bulgarian restaurant with a lovely courtyard. Or Alex takeaway on main street. Room had plates, cutlery for takeaway options. It was an easy walk of about 5 mins across the park and to the mosque and roman hippodrome, old town is walkable from there. Great little hotel with happy staff.

The plumbing gurgled sometimes but that's really petty ....

The reception staff were all delightful, friendly and very helpful. There was a lift to take our luggage up to our room and the room was large, spacious with a generous bathroom and shower. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and quiet despite being close to some of the busier roads. We managed to get a place in the secure free parking area but it is a first come first served situation so be warned if you are visiting in the busy season and arriving late. The hotel is an easy walk into the heart of Plovdiv and a good heart starter hike up to see the Alyosha Monument.

Seems to be a relatively new building, good location, nicely done and clean bathroom with spacious shower stall, balcony with a small table, the room is large, there is a desk and a small table as well. The AC and the WiFi were both working. Ah, and there’s free parking, although the number of spots is limited and it’s on a first come first served basis, so plan accordingly.

The beds were a bit rickety and squeaky, so it was quite difficult to fall asleep with the other person turning in their sleep.

Very clean and nice room, central location, nice restaurants and street food around, a 24/7 local shop. A bit difficult to navigate with a car as it is located on a small side street and the parking place is just a back yard. I appreciated the mosquito net on the window which was super useful for a restful night.

I liked everything except the glass shower cabin, which seems a bit dangerous when the floor gets wet and slippery. They could install some handles on the wall or put something on the floor to prevent people from slipping. The hot water was warmish (seems it is warmed up with a water heater), quite meagre stream (at least on the top floor). Nevertheless it was fine for a night.

The location is excellent! There is a free parking right next to the hotel. The city is within walking distance. The room was so big that three London size hotel rooms would fit in there. The room was elegant, light in the room was great. The bathroom was big, there was nice water stream. I have also rented an apartment, which was big for four people but had to change it to a room as it was too hot, despite two air conditions working at their maximum.

We were there during the heat wave and the air conditions were not able to cool off the rooms. The temperature was somewhat acceptable but still too warm. However, the heat was melting the streets.

The location of the hotel is superb. It is very close to the city center, there are 24/7 shops nearby. There's a restaurant immediately in front of the hotel. And pretty much everything of importance is within walking distance. We parked our car at the hotel and did not need to move it for the whole stay. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are huge and clean. Next time we are in Plovdiv, I'd definitely look for a reservation at Ego again.

Breakfast could be better, but we overslept it most of the time anyway, so it's not e deal breaker

Our stay in EGO hotel was more than more than OK. Our room was huge (4 persons room) , the room temperature and the whole atmosphere was nice. Pretty quiet area but i cannot say for sure because i was there during Easter so many city residents were not present. The stuff was very welcome and smiley. The area was perfect , very close to everything (we didn't move our car). Everything was fine. Thank you.

The TV was showing only few channels ,Turkish(?) and local language , so if anyone wanted to watch a program in English was not a a choice , as a result the TV for us was "unusable" but this in not a big deal for me as a traveller.
