The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Plovdiv's old town. The area is gated off so you also get access to park your car. The property is actually massive - many floors as it's on the edge of a hill. The owners didn't reply to messages much but were very kind and polite in person.

The mattress was large but quite uncomfortable and noisy as it was quite an old spring mattress. It'll be great to have some electrical sockets/ extension leads around the bedside tables too

Absolutely stunning old-world accommodation in the heart of Old Plovdiv. The furnishings throughout the hotel are amazing. It really is something to experience. Close to nice restaurants and all the famous sites of Old Town. Very comfortable large room with lovely antique furniture. Bed was so comfortable. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Thank you, Boris, for dropping me to the bus station...

A kettle in the room to make a coffee in the morning would be great. Everything else was wonderful.

The room had character

I prefer colder rooms and didn't notice untill I was already booked that the AC is a bit weak In the hottest days (39 degrees) it took ages to chill the room but I made do with a shower or two

There was no lift to go to 3rd floor

We just thank to the owner and his family for making our stay int the hotel very pleasent .. The room was very confortable and had a very nice view. The breakfasts we had were very well prepared Especially the dinners were delicious with very good wine.. Many thanks for the hospitality

This was our second visit.Spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast and very friendly hosts in a perfect location for old and new town. Great value for money.

The hotel is at the historic building in the old city of Plovdiv. The room design corresponds the old fashioned style. The rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. You may park your car at the street outside of the hotel.

Nothing

A creative selection of expensive materials and furniture in the room, but it worked out decent well. Room itself was huge, but warm since it was on the top floor. Thankfully a good AC system handled the warm Plovdiv summer days well. View over the city from the room was great. I was not to found of a bathroom with transparent door and windows all around (possible to use curtains)

The hotel is very surprising, with I think it was 5 floors below street level at the front, There are some amazing views from the hotel looking out over Plovdiv. We did not eat in the hotel at night as they had a wedding party to cater for but there are lots of good places to eat close by. there is an amazing wine cellar/room if you like wine I expect you would not want to leave, It's like a hidden gem with so many special spaces.
