This hotel has a perfect location on the main mall close to the spectacular Roman ruins and lots of interesting shops. The room was spotlessly clean and has very comfortable beds. It was extremely quiet at night.

This appears to be the only hotel that does not serve breakfast. The restaurant the hotel recommended appears to be the only available sit-down restaurant serving breakfast in the area. It was truly awful--one omelette was burnt and the other was too salty--both way overdone. We bought bread and cheese in take out places and prepared our own breakfasts in the room the other two days. There are also 26 stairs to climb to get to the first floor where reception and the rooms are located.

I've been at this hotel numerous times now. And I've been to various other hotels in Plovdiv through the years. This one is absolutely perfect, if you're searching for a 3-star comfort. I'm usually there for concerts or just to meet with friends and the hotel location is superb - it's in the very heart of the city, close to pretty much all restaurants, clubs, galleries and to the Ancient Roman Theatre, but at the same time, it's very quiet and cozy. I would recommend it to pretty much anyone.

I have no complaints whatsoever. Never have, actually, this place clicked with me from the first time I was there years ago. Maintains great quality and great service. I can't come up with a single thing to dislike.

Cozy, pretty hotel in the very center of Plovdiv. Perfect location, only a few minutes walking to Kapana district and the Ancient town. Newly renovated with everything needed for a great stay, still the renovation kept the style and the elements of the historical building. Very kind staff, did everything to make us feel welcomed. The hotel does not offer a breakfast and this is the better option. There are many restaurants and dining places around and everyone can chose a dining place according to their personal preferences. The hotel offers a parking place near the hotel which is very important when travel by own car.

Everything was perfect.

Our room was a Double with Balcony and it was a very spacious room. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices. The balcony had a screen door to keep out insects. The balcony had a great view up and down Knyaz Alexander I. It is an excellent location on a street in the city center with plenty of people to watch from the balcony. The private parking lot was very close and a great benefit, although an additional fee. We checked out, but before leaving Plovdiv, one of us lost a passport. During this traumatic event the hotel staff were very helpful. We returned to use the hotel's WiFi and the desk staff offered us water, a different room at the same price if we needed to stay another night, and they telephoned the police on our behalf to determine the correct police precinct we needed to visit. They tried to help us every way possible. I would stay here again and can recommend this hotel for others.

There was no breakfast available. It was not easy to find breakfast nearby, other than coffee and pastries.

Centrally located, on the main shopping street and close to many bars, restaurants and the sights of the Old Town. About 25-30 mins walk from the train station and slightly less to the airport shuttle. Welcoming & helpful staff. Clear instructions sent prior to arrival. Large rooms. Would stay again!

The only dislike is that there was some noise coming from the bathroom in the early morning (sounded like water draining away, maybe from other rooms, and there was a slight smell too) but keep the door shut and you may not even notice it. It wouldn’t put me off returning.

It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the shower was completely separate from the sink and toilet area. It was pretty hot outside and the air conditioning worked well. My wife got food poisoning on the way to Plovdiv and it was the perfect place to rest. There was someone at reception most of the time and she was helpful and flexible.

It has no character but it’s a former bank and the city has more than enough character. The fluffy orange cat outside wasn’t there all the time!

This hotel is in an exceptional location off the paved high street in Plovdiv, perfect for last minute shopping and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. The parking they sort for you is near by and costs but is conveniant. The room in the hotel is really superb, with bottled water, good coffee machine, fridge and excellent air con provided. It is seriously clean, very modern and a perfect stop over. We will be staying again!

We'd have liked two chairs not just one, otherwise all perfect!

All round this was a great hotel but I think it could win awards for the shower. It was really spacious -- you could almost go for a walk in the shower cubicle. I'm sort of joking but actually, as a very tall and rather clumsy person, I really appreciated this. I am always bashing my head on the shower nozzle or hitting my elbow on the door handle or dropping the soap and simultaneously hitting my head and bum on the walls... but here no such issue. I showered in enough room to swing a cat (not that I would) and then towel dried in there, thus not dripping all over the sink / toilet area... I now realise what I am missing at almost every other hotel I have stayed in. Sorry to focus so much on that one thing. Also, nice helpful staff, nice rooms, everything seems to be done recently to high spec, great location etc. Staff were nice,

Not just here but every hotel with a nice patio area has the same problem: it becomes "the smokers' area". You can use it if you don't mind smoke wafting at you from all directions as you try to have a cup of tea. I made the mistake of thinking I'd have breakfast out there, but can't enjoy eating while 3 or 4 smokers puff away, then light up another one... The smoke doesn't disperse well because people naturally sit under the awning. I moved a chair and table to the furthest point, which was next to a wall of the exterior parts of 17 air conditioning units noisily blowing out heat. So a long whinge but perhaps smokers should pay extra as effectively they get to enjoy the patio while ruining it for other guests.

Dynamite location on the main street. Close to countless restaurants, shops, the Roman stadium ruins, the Ottoman mosque, etc. A short walk to the Kapana neighborhood with more good bars and eateries. The hotel is situated in a nice old building. My room was completely updated and very comfortable. The staff onsite and via WhatsApp were very responsive and helpful.

The only negative is that my bathroom was fitted with a pump of some sort, which made an unexpected sound when the bathroom was being used. It would be good if the hotel explained this to their guests upon check-in, as initially the sound is a bit unexpected and mysterious. Soon you'll be used to it, and there will be no problem. The sound only occurs when you're using the bathroom.

Location is central. Balcony was great for mornings and evenings. Room was clean and spacious. Great coffee!

A bit noisy from both street and other guests that came in late/early in the morning.
