Cozy and clean city hotel at the top of the Danov hill. Free of charge parking places in the street in front of the hotel. It’s quiet in the evening and in the night and very close in the same time to Kapana district and main streets.

As a recommendation - to put mosquito nets on the windows because at night we left the balcony door open and in the morning we had wasps in the room. Also as a recommendation - to have a garden set on the terrace because we had booked a deluxe studio with a terrace and we didn't have chairs to enjoy the view of the city (room 307)

This is a very nice property. The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious. There was a sitting area in addition to the bedroom, a kettle, and a small balcony that was very pleasant. Staff at the front desk were quite helpful.

The hotel is not staffed after a certain time of day, so if you have a question or need something, you are on your own. Also, this location is a bit tricky to find, even for the cab driver we used initially, since it's up curves and hill from the main part of Plovdiv.

The location is perfect and consider, if you go by car, the road is very narrow and steep, and with a jeep is a bit challenging. The view is great, the studio we stayed in 307 was spacious and very pinky :) We didn't order breakfast, as it is supposed to be ordered the night before, but our colleagues did and they were happy with it.

There was an odd smell in the room, but other than that everything was perfect. The reception only works until 9pm, so if you want something to drink you have to bring it yourself, as there is no mini bar in the rooms.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a gorgeous panorama terrace that's open to guests at no extra charge. The room has blackout curtains and all necessary amenities and provided a good night's rest.

The hotel parking wasn't working and we barely found a spot to park. The bathroom was a bit inconvenient - the sink water stream was prone to splashing us.

Room was comfortable & clean

Reception is only available from 9am-9pm, so I was not able to have someone call me a taxi for my early departure. There is a keypad with a code to get in outside of these hours. The keypad was not illuminated so quite difficult to use in the dark Location is okay, about 10 minutes from the main shopping area. The hotel is on top of a steep hill with a very broken sidewalk so not ideal for walking up with suitcases Air conditioning was okay but not the most powerful. The curtains were wide open when I arrived midday and it took a long time for the room to cool down

This was my 5th or 6th time staying at Clepsydra. I appreciate the location, the spacious rooms and good mattresses. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Pillows were different and not that comfortable compared to my stay last year. There is some degree of room amortization. For a second time our key cards were disabled in the middle of our stay. The lady at reception was very kind and resolved the issue. However, if it was not during the day, we would have had to call the contact persons during the night

Location, staff always very friendly and helpful. It is not our first time, but most likely will be the last. This hotel is not a 4 stars level anymore, it used to be such a lovely, clean place.

The carpet was with so many stains, bathroom smells of mold and unvantilated air. Dusty overall, possibly wasn't inhabited for a long time. Nothing to compare with our previous stay.

The room offered a phenomenal view of the city. In addition, there were terraces on each floor that offered other breathtaking views. Inside the room, the air conditioning was exceptional, perfect for surviving 35+ degree weather. The staff was friendly and left me alone when asked.

The shower was a bit uncomfortable to use as there wasn't a full curtain, just a shell that covered about half of the shower.
