Our host was exceptional! Friendly and knowledgable, he spoke fantastic English which helped at the end of our journey down. He gave us a map and helped us orientate where we are, as well as giving suggestions of places to visit and restaurants - all the ones we were able to try were fantastic - he also helped arrange and book a taxi to the train station for us when we left. The properly was located in prime location, just a couple minutes walk from the Basilica, Old Town and the newer pedestrian area. The room itself was great, with AC and private bathroom. It was clean and maintained well while still being traditional in its decoration. There was free water available throughout the day in the foyer, and the tap water was drinkable.

The owner is very friendly and helped us a lot with tips about the city. We felt much more at ease knowing that he would be there for whatever we needed. Regarding the accommodation, the bathroom is quite spacious. The location is great because it is right at the entrance to the historic center and the pavement there is better, in case there is any mobility impairment.

The house of beautiful. It’s like a museum but without missing anything from the modern days. The location is just perfect. Right on the edge of the old town. It’s nice and quiet and at the same time you can park your car right in front of the building. Few minutes walking and you get to the central pedestrian zone. The breakfast is really great and delicious. It’s cooked each morning by the host. Last but certainly not least is the host. The host was so nice and welcoming. It was great talking with him and he offered all the help that we needed.

We have received an upgrade from standard to Deluxe, for free, as a bonus from the owner - very nice gesture. Also, he himself helped us with the luggage, welcomed us and gave a lot of useful info about the city. The room was great, like a museum item, with masive wood furniture, nice wall paintings and authentic vibes. Super spatious shower. The breakfast is special in a good way- no omellete, no meat, fresh, healthy, with a traditional note. Coffee, juice, cheese pie, crepes with jam, yogurt with honey, fresh fruites. Worked for us! Also, good location and private parking. Maximum 15min walking from every interesting point.

Nothing wrong!

The property is in a premium location for accessing the old and new city sites, it is in stellar condition, we had traditional Bulgarian breakfasts, and there’s a rustic old bar right next door! Unsure how you beat that. Regardless, I’ve learned that travel is really about the people you meet and Dimitar took great care of us when our travel plans went south.

That we didn’t get to stay longer.

The host was outstanding a real professional. He took time to make recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and provided a map of the area. A superb cooked breakfast was supplied each day instead of the usual buffet breakfast. The hotel is an attractive historic building. Our room was a great size it had tea making facilities and the bathroom was clean. There was a door with mosquito screen to an outside area that we kept open for good airflow and found we didn’t need to use the aircon with that door open.

The room we had (Room 2) while comfortable was quite dark and had an outside area that was not very useable but did provide fresh air. The towels could use a refresh.

Beautiful House. A landmark in its own right. Fully equipped and like living in a historical place. Owner an excellent host, attent and extremely helpful. Treats you like your part of his family. Super and perfect to dpend some days in Plovdiv, because of the hotel and owner. Highly recommended. Thankyou

Hotel is within an old house in the old town of Plovdiv and has the unique atmosphere of the past times. Very spacious room, pink in color which is our favorite, It is within walking distance from the center, the famous Bishop's basilica, which everyone needs to visit and the rest of the Old town with the Ethnographic museum and old houses to visit, as well as the Ancient theater. Delicious home made breakfast to enjoy. Very helpful and caring owners with attention to every detail. We would love to stay there again.

Welcomed by the extremely friendly and polite owner, who seems to love his job, we got an introduction to the city with stories, honest recommendations and tips. The building and room are well maintained and renovated Bulgarian style including a lot of wood and fine details. And after a good night of sleep with airco and nice beds we started the day with a fresh made breakfast and again a friendly conversation with the owner. We for sure recommend this hotel, the location is ideal for sightseeing the whole city.
