Since I was very satisfied below are small improvement points - there was nothing I really did not like - Gym could be little more spacious but compared to most hotely gyms it is good -Maybe little bit more alert when it comes to help with luggage -This is not the hotel fault, but it was a major power break for 5 hrs during one night, I was offered compensation (food and bonus points) -Minibar was empty which is great for me- but I did not see any information about the possibility of having it filled up on request (which quite many 5 star hotels has

A truly memorable stay with thoughtful surprises – highly recommended! Our stay at Hyatt Sofia was nothing short of exceptional. From the very moment we arrived, we were touched by a beautiful surprise arranged by the hotel management. As we were celebrating my son's graduation from university, the team went above and beyond by placing a lovely fruit platter, a bottle of excellent white wine, and most meaningfully, a handwritten congratulatory card in our room. This thoughtful gesture truly warmed our hearts. To make the experience even more special, our room was upgraded to a beautiful garden-view room, which was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The rooftop garden with its stunning view of Sofia city, delicious food, and amazing cocktails added a perfect touch to our evenings. Breakfast at the hotel was simply outstanding — a rich and high-quality open buffet with a wide selection, plus the option to order fresh coffee, waffles, sandwiches, and other delicious à la carte dishes, all at a very reasonable price. Although the spa is not very large, it is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing experience. The spa staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful — ready to meet any request with a smile. The sauna rooms are high-quality, and all hygiene products provided are excellent. All staff members throughout the hotel — from the front desk to the bar and restaurant — are professional, warm, and welcoming. We left with beautiful memories and no doubt that we will gladly return to this wonderful hotel again.

The hotel is lovely. Perfect location and good facilities. Our room was excellent - Reni took very good care of us and showed exemplary customer service, giving us advice on places that are nice for children and good local restaurants. Kaloyan at the restaurant was also very helpful and understanding - as was Daria at front desk. Really brilliant staff. Delicious breakfast. Our room opened onto a garden terrace which really made our trip - without it we wouldn’t have enjoyed the place as much.

It was a bit disappointing that my son could only use the pool until 12 pm every day - maybe you could extend this in the summer or allow kids to stay longer on some days. It would be nice if there were some outdoor sun beds to allow guests to enjoy the sunny weather in the Summer.

Hotel is in the very centre of the city which enables you to explore the city easily. Great choice of delicious food and drinks in the restaurant. Hotel also has amazing little spa, gym and rooftop bar which gives you opportunity to relax, enjoy and have filled day even if you don’t want to leave the hotel. Everything was clean and hotel staff is always at your service.

At the check-in the member of the staff offered us some kind of “leaving deposit” option which gave us opportunity to stay longer on the day of check-out (usually the check-out is until 10 am), have drinks from the mini bar, etc. We refused that and it turned out as a great decision beacuse later we found out that we can stay in the room until 12:30 for free which wasn’t offered to us at first. You should definitely clearly explain all the possibilities at the begining, this looked just like the member of your staff tried to catch us off guard. But that is just our impression and slight objection.

Everything. Secure underground parking garage, very nice room, very clean. The hotel is 5 stars for sure, we had everything we need. The location is near the center and Vitosha street, about 10 minutes walk. Wifi is secured, which is very nice. Breakfast was great. The gym is nice. Bed was really comfortable, I slept like a baby. Spa could be a little bit bigger but for us it was enough. Generally I can’t complain. It is 10/10, don’t look for bad reviews, I though that hotel is very bad because of the bad reviews but it turns out that it is very very good.

Only thing that it could be different is that instead of making a deposit on my credit card you could just charge me for the room and then I wouldn’t need to wait 3-10 days to get my deposit back. It’s not bad but it could be less flexible because of that. I would like next time to have an option to pay the room when I arrive to hotel and then we don’t need to worry about deposit. But as I said, it’s not a big deal, it’s just less flexible.

The breakfast is excellent, as is the service in the restaurant

1. Unfriendly reception staff - did not offer to help with luggage, did not show the room - just gave the keys - then everything is on your own (unacceptable for a 5-star hotel). Zero information about the hotel. They waved their hand at parking - it's around the corner - figure it out yourself. 2. The terrible roar of the ventilation system in the room prevented us from sleeping (had to turn off the ventilation system) 3. We wrote in advance that we were traveling with a small dog, we were warned that they would charge 50 Euros for this, but nothing was prepared for the pet (no bowls or a bed, as stated in the hotel's advertisement)

The location was absolutely perfect — everything worth seeing was within walking distance, and it was very easy to find. Having underground parking was also a huge plus. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Although we didn’t try the breakfast or the spa, the gym really stood out. It was exceptionally well-equipped, probably one of the best hotel gyms I’ve come across. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again!

The only minor downside was that it felt a little too warm inside the gym, which made cardio a bit challenging.

Great hotel with great staff. Located within walking distance from several subway stations/lines and tourist attractions. The hotel was busy because of a large event in the city - the staff suggested having breakfast in the Hyatt Club instead of the regular breakfast room, which was very nice! The swimming pool in the hotel is great - although it is small, it has a adjustable water current, which allows for quite effective excercise.

The menu at the rooftop bar/restaurant is quite modest and overpriced, but I guess you pay for the view. The menu can have more options. Overall, the hotel was quite expensive for the dates I was staying.

Welcoming part did not exist. So we had to park our car, figure out which entry of the two entrance doors is the right one. No one came to help us with the baggages. After the checkin also even though we told them that we are disappointed with the welcoming part which is not Hyatt like as we know other Hyatt services. We came to a front desk and the receptionist told us that we queued wrongly even though he was standing there and looking around instead of helping us. So we changed the queue and waited 5 minutes for the checkin. Club sandwich contained bacon. Unfortunately was not written in the menu in English, only in Italian as “pancetta” which we could not figure it out… we had to discuss and negotiate to get a new one, very disappointing for such a brand…

Great location. Great room. Great service from everyone in the reception and concierge, especially from Petar: I felt that this man was there to serve and make our stay better! Room cleaning done everyday, perfectly done everyday! Very clean hotel. The lounge access is worth the payment. The spa is good. 24/7 room service.

The pool is not heated, making it hard to relax. The breakfast is of great quality, but the varied. The food in the lounge was by far more varied, the quality in both is really great. The hotel is very busy (because it is very good..) with many bussines events and business guests making it hard to feel in a vacation sometimes. These are things that won’t prevent me from coming back to the hotel, but important considerations for a vacation.
