We have just spent the last couple of nights at Khmer Mansion and we’ve been absolutely blown away by the kindness and hospitality of the staff. In our travels, we’ve stayed at numerous hotels in different continents but in none of them have we been treated as well as we were in Khmer Mansion. Right from the first moment when we were warmly greeted in and given welcome drinks (very delicious pina coladas), a cold drink and towel, right up until our goodbyes where we were given scarves and walked to our transport, we felt very happy and relaxed. We cannot speak highly enough of Chhorvy who gave us so much of her time and also her knowledge/expertise of the area - we probably asked her well over 100 questions and she answered them all! Her English was fantastic and she was just genuinely extremely kind, warm and welcoming. She is a real asset to Khmer Mansion. We managed to have a couple of meals at the hotel and the food was delicious - on our first night we had some traditional Cambodian food (Khmer beef curry) and on our final day when we fancied some Western food we had yummy pasta! All of our food was served by Vicheka and a female whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch - both were really attentive throughout the meal and nothing was too much trouble. We also had breakfast at the hotel - you pre order from the menu the night before and advise what time you’re likely to be down. The breakfast was good quality and clearly freshly made. Our was comfortable and well cleaned. We were welcomed to lotus flowers all over our room and a welcome message on our bed! We noted from previous reviews that there have been issues re the sound from Pub Steer (which is completely out of the hotels control). We stayed mid-week and did not experience any issues with noise whatsoever and had a very comfortable sleep on both nights.

If you are looking for a 'more than 5 star service' at a reasonable rate, consider Khmer Mansion Boutique Hotel! We would vouch for it to be one of the BEST hotels we have been to in regard to its service and hospitality standards! Be it the staff at the front or restaurant, or housekeeping, every single member of their staff excel in their job roles!! We were there for 5 days, from the time we checked in, till the day we checked out, we received extra-ordinary amount of warmth, hospitality and thoughtfulness from each of the staff members. From remembering each guest's names, to offering water and cold towels every single time we returned to the hotel, to going out of their way to give wonderful suggestions about places to visit thereby displaying their love for their country. We were totally floored! We have NOT experienced anything to this extent in any other hotel, although we have travelled extensively to many countries. If we could give more than 5 stars to this hotel, we would have done that without a blink! A very special thanks to the team: Chhorvy, Pheara, Leap, Saan, Sara, Chitra, Don, Sreyrath, Nara, Pisei! Keep up the awesome job!!

If I could rate this hotel 11 stars, I would. This is a wonderful property in a fantastic location right next to Pub Street and the street market. You have tons of restaurants and shops just steps away. The customer service of this hotel is off the charts. The staff is warm, welcoming and very attentive to all your needs. Everytime we left the hotel, even if just for half an hour, we were greeted by a smiling staff member with a cool wash cloth and a cold glass of water when we walked into the lobby. Every staff member made a point of asking our names and greeting us by name each day. When at the pool, we were brought a complimentary tray of fruit and ice tea. We were sad to leave!

The downside of a great location next to all the action is that it often goes into the wee hours of the morning. We could hear pulsing music in the middle of the night from some of the clubs a block or two away. The staff mentioned this at check in and offered us ear plugs.

Excellent hotel very well situated minutes walk from the Old Market and Pub Street. A warm and attentive welcome with staff going above and beyond throughout our stay. Lovely pool and basic but very comfortable rooms. Good breakfast with small buffet and several cooked options- pancakes with palm syrop was a favourite. Great coffee. Hotel organised super guide and driver for us over our 3 day visit to see temples and floating villages, and we went to their sister hotel for an Aspara dance and dinner evening. On site spa room by pool offering massages which could be booked at short notice. Great stay!

The property is relatively quiet in a super busy location near Touristy Pub street. The rooms were really nice. Cool and stylish with complementary fresh fruit. Bathrooms were also good.

Personally, and this may be our bad for being this kind of traveler, but I found the staff attention to be over the top. You could not move without five people pouncing on you with cold drinks and cold flannels. The attention was intense. When we left we had to fill out a form of satisfaction (with similar questions to what you’d find on Booking.com) but they then read my answers and quizzed me intensely about why I had put those answers. I understand that they had to do their job and they probably did it very well, but I felt like someone was putting pressure on them to perform the impossible. I couldn’t wait to leave. It was very awkward.

Breakfast was a top-notch. Staff excellent, almost to the point being too good. (exceeding the hospitality can be dangerous) FO Supervisor excellent.

I stayed 2 times, first stay was excellent. The second one was not excellent, I did possibly get a room that was nor checked before check-in: balcony lights, wall sockets, TV - all had issues. Also FO staff after my second stay didn't seem to have English skills to be enable to actually understand, luckily excellent FO supervisor was there. In general, wall sockets in two places not enough today when people are travelling with phones, tablets, laptops etc.

Nice hotel with a perfect location close to Pub Street but far enough to be quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It all started when our airport taxi took us to the wrong hotel (their sister hotel), and instead of trying to get the taxi driver to understand where to drive, the hotel guy took us to Khmer Mansion Boutique. We also got a nice and polite remorque (tuktuk) driver through the hotel. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of food to keep you going at Angkor. Tastefully decorated hotel and spacious rooms.

Sometimes it was difficult to order breakfast the night before, but if you are not in a hurry to take off in the morning, you can also order when you go down for breakfast.

Excellent location. Literally a 2 min walk to Pub Street and the Old Market, with several restaurants just outside the hotel. We stayed in 2 x interconnecting rooms (connected via a balcony) and there was ample space for a family of 5. The staff were super friendly and were always willing to help, despite the language barrier. Cold water and face towels provided upon each return to the hotel. Don't expect a 5 star hotel with facilities. Khmer Mansion felt more like a homestay with warm hospitality.

Nothing I didn't like but a few things to note of to manage expectations: (1) Don't expect the staff's english to be of the same standard as a 5 star hotel, however they are always willing to help (2) Doesn't have your traditional buffet for breakfast but you can order as much as you like from the ala carte menu

-Very clean room and bathroom. Air Conditioning quiet and powerful. Fridge in room. - Large room! -Quiet hotel. -A few min walk to Pub Street and Night Market. -Staff incredibly helpful and welcoming. Was really nice to be greeted with a cold towel and cold water every time we came back into the hotel. -Small but nice pool. -Breakfast really, really good. We had a 4.20am pickup for the sunrise tour and they prepared a breakfast box for us, which was super nice to have. You can also preorder your breakfast for 6am if you have an early morning flight. Highly recommend, would return here next time no problem.

-Wifi: a little lag quite often. I wouldn't recommend any remote working from there. Not a major issue for us, as we were on vacation. -No Netflix App installed on smart tv. Not a major issue, just noting it for those who care.
