This place far exceeded my expectations, especially considering my expectations weren't all that high. I was looking for a cheap place to crash for a couple of nights, and I was willing to put up with a place that might be a little rough around the edges. This place is not. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was attentive and friendly. Very pleasantly surprised.

The place has a strange policy regarding their $250 security deposit. It is not returned upon checkout. The full room fee plus the security deposit appears on your credit card, and then is adjusted within a few days. Makes one a little uncomfortable on checkout. Can't help thinking maybe you're being scammed, but the correct fee appeared on my credit card a few days later as promised.

The room was comfortable, quiet and clean (despite the renovations of the exterior at the time). There is a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room, so good for longer stays. The internet was rated low on the website but it was working perfectly fine for me. The hotel is walking distance to St. Vital shopping center, public transit and there are decent restaurants nearby. The breakfast that was included was substantial, and you can make your own waffle. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again when visiting.

There was a rank smell around the staircase, like someone had too much to drink and couldn't hold it in. I hope that they will deep clean the area. The hotel would have received a higher rating from me otherwise.

It was exactly what we needed for a few nights stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The temperature in the room was perfect our whole stay. Having - what I assume to be - a newly renovated bathtub/shower was very nice, especially when you know how many people have previously used it at any shared property.

The doors to the rooms are very noisy, however, we did understand that they are "everything" proof doors when it comes to fire and safety, which makes for a very heavy door on the open and close.

The location and also they are pet friendly. Amazing

The room was filled with the smell of fried food, likely due to its location in a small mall surrounded by restaurants. It was quite unpleasant. Additionally, there is no elevator, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

Loved the room and staff. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need.

Unfortunately the outside of building under construction and difficult to get into hotel. Had to phone to be let in Because only rooms on second level it was difficult to bring luggage up the stairs for my husband and I being seniors.

When I travel I make my own breakfast. However I was extremely impressed by everything else offered. Would use this hotel again for future trips to Winnipeg.

Doors were always locked,so very secure, key card for doors always worked .nice mini breakfast Realable amount of parking but was full Saturday when Jets played a payoff game.

Breakfast was minimal- no bananas available during this stay.

A pull up bar in the tiny "fitness centre" (actually a repurposed former office space)would be a great addition.

Location was great A lot of options for breakfast

The COFFEE Machine coffee was not very good but worse was the creamers supplied I don’t take sugar in my coffee and both creamer options were sweetened

It was clean and well cared for. The staff was excellent. All our extended family stayed there for a funeral. They allowed us to use the breakfast area to gather and eat. The 25 of us were very pleased with their professionalism and friendliness
