I liked that it was close to downtown but also separate and quiet. It did mean more walking (and going up/down the hills of Halifax), but the location was removed enough that it felt a little more private. I also really liked the large parks nearby.
We were 4 guests and from the beginning, our room did not have enough towels for all of us. In addition, when they came to replenish the towels, they only ever gave two and we had to constantly ask for additional. This wouldn’t have been a big issue if the towels would dry between use, but there was no ventilation in the washroom AND minimal hook/hanging space so as soon as a towel was damp it would not dry by the next day and could not be used again so we were in this odd cycle of damp towels not being replenished and it just felt like they were only catering to half of our room.

I didn't get breakfast. Location was great, easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. I was reimbursed the cancelation charge for a room the was booked with out much hassle. That was great because usually it is a long process of arguing about why it wasn't my fault I got double booked by the reservation people or had to change rooms.
Parking was tight and at times we had no where to park. Having paid for overnight parking I feel like we should have designated areas to park. Sharing with the public is a hassle if you pay for 2 days of over night parking. Cleaning crew took our dirty towels and face cloths while we were out. They left one clean towel on the counter when there were two of us...no new face cloths. I went to the front desk to request more and 2 more towels were sent up but still no face cloths. I showered with out one in the morning. Otherwise it was a nice hotel and I would come back.

It was very clean and modern, which suprised me for the age of the hotel. I was on tge 10th floor and I loved the view as well. The staff were friendly. The pool area was large and relaxing. It was a good walking distance to downtown.
I had the breakfast buffet and there was a good variety of foods, but the quality wasn't great. The eggs were a little rubbery and the French toast was hard. It wasn't a bad breakfast because there was lots of good stuff as well, like French fruit and yogurt.

When we arrived to Atlantica, we had fantastic welcome at the reception and he prepared our room cards asap. We asked questions about Halifax and he gave us excellent information about Halifax. We are extremely happy about your reception personnel. Thank you so much for all your warm welcome.
Bathroom water taps could be better fit for the bathroom sink. But not a big deal.

Our family booked on the same day at the last minute. The rates were the cheapest on booking.com. I paid 300cad without breakfast but included tax and parking fees plus 200cad deposit. After camping at Cape Breton and the long drive, all we needed was a good sleep and we were satisfied. The hotel room was huge with big beds. Thank you for the nice service - Saeid of the reception.
I hope they have rates that include breakfast so it's easier and more convenient for guests.

Great location - close to a busy Quinpool Road with many dining options, upgraded property, comfortable bed, nice view of the surrounding areas. Location does have a restaurant on side - didn't use to rate. Bottled water in the room is a nice touch.
Busy place, parking - even though an additional charge, can be a hassle as it is underground and gets very busy to the point no spots are available, plus the parking spots are super tiny. With knowing how many people are booked for the stay, it would be a great touch to have that many towels available in the bathroom upon arrival.

I chose the hotel for its location and I was right, the location is great. We were greeted by a wonderful administrator Tania, she found us a comfortable apartment and supported us throughout the entire weekend. The room was warm, with a great view, the bathroom had a full cosmetic set, we ordered extra towels and bathrobes. We also used the pool and the restaurant. We were delighted. Thank you very much!
P.S. the only thing is to take slippers with you.

Really great facility, well staffed, meaning I never had to wait in line. Rooms were perfect size vs cost.
This isn't really the hotels fault but the taxes and fees are really high in Halifax. On a $166 room $32 was taxes and fees. Then parking was an extra $25/night. I can understand parking costing 25/night in a downtown location but this hotel isn't downtown. So parking + taxes and fees = $57/night. Seems a little steep for a hotel that isn't downtown. Other than that, the hotel was great.

Location was absolutely perfect. It wasn't too long of a walk to get down to the water front. Dominos pizza was open for a bite to eat at 2 am when we had a very long day of flight delays. Beds and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. Staff were super nice. The lovely night shift lady was very accommodating. Showers were enjoyable with great shampoo and conditioner !
Cleanliness was questionable. First room was not clean (cat food on floor, counters sticky). 2nd room we were given was better but had a dirty towel hanging on back of door, dirty coffee pot with coffee pod still in it. It took me 8 full rinses to have chunks of old coffee stop coming out. I was happy to have my own cleaning wipes to make sure high touch areas were sanitized. The manager was great to deal with when I told her about our experience !

Super Clean, great staff and restaurant was real good food with top line friendly servers. Easy access to all tourist attractions especially the Halifax Harbour… good parking onsite. Don’t stay anywhere else. Local bus stop at the door.
I can’t think of one thing they don’t have!! A good bar, restaurant, parking, and great rooms.
