Perfect location for downtown and for walking the waterfront. Comfy, clean rooms with good bathroom supplies. Very fast elevators. Friendly and helpful staff.

Things have changed since our last visit last year. They now charge for using their wifi in your room unless you are a Marriot Bonvoy member (signing up for that is free). We were given a ticket for a complimentary buffet which was very nice but, otherwise the price is $33 per person which is expensive (they no longer have the espresso coffee machine in the buffet area). Parking is now by Valet only. It is convenient but costs $55 plus taxes per day.

When we arrived we were upgraded to a harbour view suite that had been recently renovated. The suite was very clean, modern, bathroom and shower were lovely, filtered water tap in the bathroom as well, sensored lights the moment you stepped out of bed to go to the bathroom at night. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were amazing too. Staff very helpful, breakfast buffet was really good something for everyone, fresh omelets and eggs made too. We needed to get a taxi to the airport and they arranged one of their private cars to take us. Service at the hotel was amazing and very good location for us to get to the CN Tower and Roger Centre.

There was nothing to fault at the hotel

The hotel was very nice and the view from our room on the 21st floor was beautiful! The room was updated and spacious. I gave "cleanliness" a 9 out of 10 because I felt the floor was not the cleanest it could have been. Great location with plenty to do, see, and eat all within walking distance. The hotel has a gift shop with plenty of snacks and drinks. It was open very late, which we found helpful due to our schedule. The pool and hot tub are large and both stay open until 11! Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely consider staying there again if we visit Toronto in the future. Oh! The 5 elevators were fast, and we never waited long for one heading out or returning to our room. We didn't use the valet parking because there is a garage pretty much catty-corner from the hotel that was super convenient and much cheaper.

Our floor seemed like it could have been a little cleaner. The bed(s) sit on a thin rug/carpet and the rest of the room is hard floor. We used an air mattress so I was close to the ground for setting up and taking down. The floor by the window needed a solid, good vacuuming. And the hard floor had a couple sticky spots. But the rest of the room was immaculate so I was pleased overall.

Amazing location! We were attending a concert at Scotiabank Arena and it was a short walk to the venue. There are coffee shops and restaurants just across the street. Walking distance to the CN tower as well. Beautiful view of the water. Nice swimming pool and hot tub. Amazing staff, professional, friendly and willing to help. We have previously stayed at the Fairmont Royal York but liked the Westin Harbour Castle way better. Our room was more spacious, quieter and the lobby, elevators, etc less busy, even tho there was a convention happening.

Some parts of the facilities are in time for a renovation. But overall everything is well kept.

Hotel was great, view is awesome and the pool is very hot and well designed for kids and family! However, lifts were under provisioned. Sometimes we had to wait 10-15 minutes to have a lift. Other bad feedback: in the room we were able to listen to non-stop noise like people going up and down in kind of iron stairs. But still, the quality, the price and the location are so good that we will come back.

Great location, clean, comfy beds. Air conditioned which was needed as visited when very hot. Staff friendly and room cleaned and replenished by a lovely lady on the 7th floor. Used as a base to explore Toronto and Niagara Falls, 10 minute walk to Union Station and 2 minutes to the ferry to Toronto islands. Pool clean, cold at first and enjoyed the hot whirlpool after. Warm towels provided which was lovely. Nice to relax with a book on the terrace. Would recommend. Good views of the harbour front.

The pool was cold, fine for kids and ok after a few lengths, you really appreciate the hot whirlpool after. Made a mistake of believing the restaurant on the top floor was a roof top bar, I asked the reception and he said yes on the 38th floor. It's a Michelin star restaurant! We were expecting to enjoy a drink outside with views not the place for a quick drink with family in the lounge with limited view. Completely my error, I should have done my research just information so no one makes the same mistake.

Breakfast was excellent. The team at the breakfast worked very hard to make the start of the day meal exceptional. Kudos to all the staff at the Mizzen bistro. The room was cleaned very well and extremely comfortable

The frontdesk staff doubled charged us for an extra night. Be wary of that! The lack of chairs in the room. We ordered dinner and breakfast in the room because we were extremely jetlagged. But couldn't be comfortable for seating meals because there is only ONE chair available. We had to have our dinner plates on the bed. Yikes! Too many lights - that globe diamond standing lamp was unnecessary! Not practical.

Staff were very courteous and informative when asked about local restaurants and attractions. We were in a newly renovated area and when we had a small issue with the plumbing, the maintenance person was at our room quite quickly! The hotel was within walking distance of all the attractions we wanted to visit (ie. Hockey Hall of Fame, Ripley's Aquarium, Steam Whistle Kitchen, Scotiabank Arena) The view was amazing and we will be back in the summer so we can take the ferry (which is just behind the hotel) to the islands

The hotel is in a great location, walkable to the CN tower, Union Station, Aquarium, and ferry port. The breakfast was great, consisting of an extensive buffet with hot and cold food, endless amounts of coffee, tea, juice, and water. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

In the evening, if you want to stay in the hotel for dinner, you need to have it in the bar. The food is great, but the table set up isn't quite right. I'm not sure why they don't use the breakfast restaurant for dinner too. My family of 6 had to crowd around 2 small circle tables, which isn't as comfortable.

We splashed out on the Westin for our last night in Canada and it was more than worth it. We were upgraded to a newly renovated room in the south tower at check-in with a view over the water taxi harbour and across the lake, which was wonderful. The room was beautiful, shiny and fresh and the toiletries are divine. Pervez at the check-in desk was very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll be back.

The street entrance to the hotel lobby was not particularly obvious. We took the long flight of steps nearest to the Bay Street and hoped we were going the right way, but what might be helpful is a nice shiny sign to the Lobby.
