Perfectly located in the heart of Toronto. The hotel is comfortable and well equipped, but what truly makes the difference is the service: the staff, especially the cleaning team, is exceptionally attentive and makes the stay genuinely pleasant.

Parking is overpriced at 65 CAD per day (before tax), while many nearby options cost less than half. The rooms and bathrooms feel dated, with worn furniture and fabrics, and the pool/play area also needs a refresh. The biggest issue is the elevators: staying on the 33rd floor meant constant delays, as most of them were frequently out of service.

The beds are amazing! My wife deals with insomnia, and I was stressed about a convention, but both of us slept really well, though. All of the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was quiet, despite hosting multiple events during our stay.

The elevators! Seriously, just rip them out and replace them with anything. After working in various hospitality roles in my lifetime, even in the hotel industry, my only complaint for this hotel (besides forced valet..ugh) is having to wait forever for an elevator. I can't remember what floor my room was on (11th?), but I was tempted to take the stairs multiple times.

We enjoyed our stay at The Westin Harbour Castle. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful view over Lake Ontario that made mornings feel extra special. The location is fantastic; right on the waterfront, close to the ferry terminal and within walking distance of downtown attractions like the CN Tower and Scotiabank Arena. The beds were incredibly comfortable.

Parking is valet‑only, very expensive, and during busy hours we had to wait quite a while for our car. At breakfast, which was included in our stay, one staff member presented us with a zero‑dollar bill and asked for a tip, something we found awkward and unnecessary. While these moments didn’t overshadow our overall experience, they did stand out.

The hotel has an excellent location close to the Harbourfront and within a 30-minute walk with my dog to major Toronto attractions such as City Hall, Dundas Square, and the CN Tower. The area was peaceful at night, allowing for a comfortable sleep. The breakfast was delicious, and the server’s suggestion to mix orange juice and apple juice was surprisingly good I liked it so much that I still do it on other trips. Also, there are plenty of pet-friendly restaurants around the Harbourfront area, which was a big plus for travelers with dogs.

Travelers accompanied by dogs should be cautious when using the breakfast voucher. The hotel provides only one voucher per room, so you and your partner will likely need to take turns having breakfast. I explained this situation to the staff at the entrance, but since the vouchers are collected by the servers inside, you’ll need to explain it to them as well. If your partner (or you) eats first and submits the voucher, the second person may later be asked for it by the server. Without a clear explanation, the staff might mistakenly think you are having breakfast without a voucher. In my case, the misunderstanding was quickly resolved, but it’s something worth noting for others.

We loved the view to the lake from our room, beds are so comfy, room is clean, and breakfast is just awesome, it was really the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. Staff are really helpful and attentive to details.

On our last night at 4am fire alarm has woken us up and all other guests, it was so loud, we got so scared, more from the sound than from the possibility of fire, even had to take medicine to calm down. It was going on and on and it took for them too much time to check on that and switch it off. So our night was ruined as we didn't know if to leave our room or not. I understand the safety concerns but it was purely handled by the management. Later we were informed that it was the prank from one of the guests. I hope that person was taken care of by the authorities.

Everything but the price lol I hate when hotels jack prices when events are going on, I paid way less 2 months prior and will be paying less again in another month but thats not really the hotels fault, they all do it. I really do love this hotel, ive been twice and will be coming back again in a month and im sure ill be using it in the future again. Great location, staff, and extremely comfortable! I never want to leave the bed, could sleep in every day if I let myself. Love the pool/hot tub (even though jets need work) breakfast is great, valet parking is great! Perfect amount of towels/pillows, supplies in room, love that you can sign into netflix and that you get a mini fridge. Fast elevators. I really do love this hotel! Very convenient for everything!

Hot tub jets need to be fixed - I forgot to mention that to staff. They need more staff for bringing items up and down from the room as the wait time can be unbearable. (Not the end of the world unless you have an extreme amount to bring in/out) Pricing being jacked up when events are going on (not their fault though)

The location was really good . The staff really friendly and helpful . I can highly recommend the breakfast, it was excellent!

The air conditioning was so loud that we needed to move to another room. We stayed for 4 nights and were forced to leave most of the clothes in the suitcase as they were no drawers in the room. The second day they forgot to make the room. The excuse given to me was that that day the hotel had so many check in & out that they just missed to clean the room. I didn't expect this from such a hotel , not to mention that the prices are not cheap

Perfect location for downtown and for walking the waterfront. Comfy, clean rooms with good bathroom supplies. Very fast elevators. Friendly and helpful staff.

Things have changed since our last visit last year. They now charge for using their wifi in your room unless you are a Marriot Bonvoy member (signing up for that is free). We were given a ticket for a complimentary buffet which was very nice but, otherwise the price is $33 per person which is expensive (they no longer have the espresso coffee machine in the buffet area). Parking is now by Valet only. It is convenient but costs $55 plus taxes per day.

Liked the location of the hotel, on the harbor, ask for a room with a lake view. Hotel was downtown and walkable to most event locations. Walked to Second City within 5-7 minutes. When arriving to the hotel the greeters/valet were very organized with moving the cars in and out. They were also nice and friendly. I would suggest adding the breakfast option when booking the room if you don't have time to venture out and look for a place for breakfast. We did not get the breakfast option, and it was a little difficult to find a place that served breakfast. You can eat at the hotel, but I found the breakfast menu was a little too pricey for our group. We did find a little place down the street, on the harbor, that was open. So, we had breakfast on the patio overlooking the water, which was very nice. I would stay again at this hotel.

Amazing hotel, wonderful location and incredible breakfast. We loved the swimming pool, the terraces, the tennis court…, really impressive with great views.

Nothing- maybe some of the staff at breakfast. It was all very well organised and the experience was very good but a one waiter was a bit pushy when it came to the tip. Didn’t expect that! Also, a couple of days the room wasn’t serviced. We called the front room when returning to the hotel in the evening and sorted it out but it was a bit surprising for us.
