Love love loved our little home away from home! Charming, cosy room, quiet with a European feel. Really classy presentation from shower to linens!

The Greek restaurant next door is overpriced and under-delivered. It offers no frills with a meal (such as bread, water, rice or potatoes, etc). We had to keep asking to have our water glasses filled even while we ordered alcohol to our table. The servers were unconcerned when we finally had to ask for a pitcher of water be left at our table. We were told it wasn't allowed. It's this form of non-gratuity to a customer that made it appear empty most days and we would recommend that the hotel sends its guests elsewhere.

Near Peel station and fast transport to the Old Montreal and port. We were even able to walk to Mont Royal. We took a taxi from the hotel to the airport which only costed 20$ but there is also a bus stop nearby. The room was comfortable for two people, with a kitchenette, desk, two chairs and a sofa. There was also space for the suitcases and a mirror wardrobe. The staff was very attentive if you needed anything. The room temperature was well adjusted with a/c even though it was quite hot outside.

We could hear noise from the room upstairs like a door closing or water running while trying to sleep so we used earplugs some nights. Part of the furnishing looked old.

I stayed here for a week as a solo traveler. ! A/C WORKED!! during the heat advisory in mtl which was my main concern! Comfortable bed as well which was another huge concern, but I prefer softer mattresses. Really nice to have your own kitchen (and nespresso maker!). Nice newly redone bathroom. Housekeeping always seemed to do a good job. Really great location being on the green line. I see a lot of people complain about elevators, but they're actually very fast, it's just that there's only 3 of them so when the hotel gets busy (weekend) you may have to wait an extra minute because... people are using them. Kind of annoying but silly to complain about imo.

The gym had very slim pickings and i wouldn't really bother with it. Sink in the little kitchen had some issues but still worked fine. I wouldn't bother paying for breakfast again unless I was short on time.

Executive suite was good, beds comfortable. Lots of towels in bathroom. Living space good. Meals were expensive at Zante restaurant and the serving very small for the cost. Breakfast at the Mezz was good, servings size was good. However, dinners were not appetizing. Overall experience at the hotel good. I would stay again. Hotel is located close to a lot of attractions by walking and McGill university.

Husband said he experience some snubby behavior at both restaurants by service providers. Despite that hotel is charming and our stay was pleasant. BTW hotel is situated among other hotels so you are in skyscraper haven which I did not like looking out the window and seeing only tall buildings.

I had a very pleasant stay at Le Cantlie Suites. The hotel is conveniently located, expecially if one wants to visit the excellent Museum of Fine Arts or the Mont Royal; the old part of town is also walking distance (15-20 minutes). The welcome was friendly, the room really spacious (with kitchenette, which, however, I did not use) and clean. I did not use the rooftop pool, but I visited it, and thought that the view was spectacular.

One minor thing: the elevators are slow, and at certain times, one will have to wait for a while. I actually witnessed rather long queues on the ground floor a couple of times. My room was on the fourth floor, so it didn't bother me much, as I would simply use the stairs (even with luggage - after a very long wait ...), but for people on higher floors, this may be a bit of an issue.

The room was great! It was spacious and the suite style was great when a family member wanted to go to bed early. Others could still stay in the living room area, without disturbing them. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location was very central, near shops and the train station. There were two restaurants in the hotel. There was Starbucks right across the street for morning coffee!

The elevators were small so sometimes there was abit of a wait for the elevators during peak times, such as at check-in time. This was not a deal breaker for me though, because the hotel was otherwise great

I had a large suite, very clean and quiet. good quality bed. Small kitchen with Some Kitchenette, oven, stove, fridge. Filter Coffee machine with coffee exceed my expectation. Location Was great, in heart of Downtown , 20 minutes walk to old town. Staff was excellent, they give me the room in morning, around 9 . Also they assisted me to find Places and plans I had.

Breakfast, If You like american breakfast It was very good. Otherwise better to pass, small packed Jam, honey, cheese, limited pastries( just two) . From Second Morning I made filter Coffee in room and bought some items in my fridge to eat in my Suite.

Helpful staff, confortable room with a fridge and a decent shower, swimming pool on the roof (though a bit scary if you don't like heights), good location, good breakfast (but not included in the price). It's a plush well located hotel but quite pricey, though maybe not so bad for central Montreal.

Had to pay a deposit, which I wasn't expecting. They say I should get it back within five days. You can wait a long time for the lifts. I couldn't figure out how to connect to the TV to watch Netflix, YouTube etc. using my own account. I didn't ask though as we were only there for one night so it wasn't a big deal.

We had a really bad experience in the accommodation we had actually booked and had to get out so the Cantlie was a very last minute booking (we booked and turned up an hour later, the last place was so bad) - they were incredibly good and understanding and gave us early access to one of our rooms complimentary. Great location - can walk to just about everything you need within 10-15 mins including the Metro. The staff were (mostly) friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was fabulous, even when it got a bit crowded because everyone loved it so much! And there was a guest laundry! Breakfast (buffet) is really yummy.

The lifts are really slow.

We booked a room for a family of four. the room had two large beds, which works well if you spend most of the time in the city. The hotel is close to McGill University, you can walk from the hotel to downtown or take the tube from Peel station. Hotel staff is very friendly, facilities are good, the pool and terasse on the top floor is great and the hotel offers valet parking. The rooms are spacious, clean and offer everything you would expect at that level. Good value for money.

Without disrespect, the hotel has been around for some time, but having said that, it is good value for money and a hotel very comfortable to stay at, that is clean, well organized and with good facilities.
