The room was clean, spacious with a very big and comfortable bed. We didn't feel like we missed anything, maybe a window view. We got a room which had the window oriented towards the inside of the hotel but it didn't bother us that much (and not all rooms are like that). There was a window from the bedroom to the shower too, covered with a curtain if you don't want to use it. The breakfast consists of pastries, coffee, some fruits, cereal. The hotel is in a very good location, Montreal is pretty much walkable and that area is full with restaurants and anything you want. Very easy to walk to other parts of town or to access the metro and the underground city. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay at Chez Swan, a very good price-quality ratio.

Good location downtown amid shopping and dining. 5-15 minutes walk from metro, train, or bus. 30 minute walk to Old Town. Spacious room with a high top table and chairs, desk, closet with fridge, and a comfortable king-sized bed with decent pillows. Targeted lighting for each bedside. Working elevator. Complimentary breakfast (basic, pastries, bread, and cold items with toaster). Large bathroom and shower with multi-spray shower options. 24 hour reception.

A light was out in the bathroom. Our dual shower had only one working. Water pressure could be better but was good enough. Would like a protein option at the complimentary breakfast (e.g., hard boiled eggs, granola bar, or mini breakfast quiche).

The room was incredibly spacious and the decor was very nice. The Pillows, bed, and chair were very comfortable. I very much appreciated having full control over the room temperature. The three shower settings (overhead rainfall, hand held, and body jets) were super cool! Staff were exceptional in accommodations and very friendly

No mini fridge and sheer curtains for the window facing downtown. Water pressure seemed a little low but it is an older building so I do not blame them entirely. There were stairs in my room and the floors, including the risers, are painted black, making them a bit hard to see them. The carpet on the second floor needs to be brought taut again as it has loosened and poses as a bit of a tripping hazard.

location was awesome, great neighborhood, center of everything but upscale and safe. breakfast was yummy, great way to start the day- love the cold filtered water Staff was amazing! They went above and beyond to meet our needs, (spouse needed a room for a meeting, we needed a place to store luggage before check in, we wanted the room cleaned daily) basically we were a nuisance but they were cheerful and helpful the whole time. The decor was unusual, its so cool to stay somewhere that isn't cookie cutter beige.

sugar free tea in the vending machine was my Only unmet need

Room and bathroom was large and clean. Very quiet. Decor and style throughout was unique, surprising, and classy. Breakfast was included. Close to many things to walk to. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the noon checkout time.

We parked in the garage for hotel next door and had to walk a long way with luggage through the other hotel to get to it. We just paid once and kept the car there, but if we had to come and go, it would have gotten very expensive. Garage was tight and dingy. No window with a view of outdoors in the room. No blackout curtains. Window from shower into bedroom was weird. Shower controls were confusing. Would have liked a table between the two occasional chairs in bedroom. Coffeemaker in room was confusing to use and coffee wasn't good tasting. We got to the breakfast with 20 minutes until it closed and most items were gone and the room was a mess with an overflowing garbage pail. TV had a strange show on - would have just preferred music.

We stayed two weeks and were very happy with accommodation. Location was superb, walking distance to all major Montreal landmarks, many restaurants and shopping areas. Breakfast was good if limited in selection. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. I would with pleasure recommend this hotel to anyone looking for downtown location!

There is hardly anything negative to say, perhaps the breakfast could have a bit more variety.

Everything was great , loved my room , room 210 not the best view but very comfortable bed , spacious , clean . Huge double rain shower . And Right next door to the amazing Pois Penche resto and Trope juice and smoothie bar what more do you need? 👌

Only one little suggestion ,I was in room 201 so there are steps going down to the bedroom area from the entrance and washroom, maybe put some lights on the black floor because it’s very easy to miss the steps when going to the washroom during the night . Just my thoughts because it can easily cause injuries .

The room was very nice, big and the toilette with a double shower box. The bed was really comfortable. Small fridge with complementary water inside. Personnel really helpful. Check-in fast and possibility to leave the luggage at the reception before the check-in and and after the check-out for free. Great location downtown near everything.

Breakfast very poor, small choice and low quality products...the croissant one day were very hard.

Decor, cleanliness, customer service, modern design for rooms with all required items included, at least for our stay.

Breakfast. Poor selection of foods. A very limited menu comprised of pretty much croissants and some two to three pastries, some cereal, a few fruits, yogurt, and some peanut butter and jam. Coffee and espresso machines are around. Seating area could use a little redesign as the space feels limited and corner seats make customers face the wall..

Such an artsy, and quirky decorated hotel! We loved it! A perfect location for walking to shopping, restaurants and attractions. We were able to be picked up for our city tour from hotel. Room was spacious, very clean and we could parking next door underground.

I had trouble with coffee maker but staff was very helpful and replaced the whole unit!
