The staff was amazing! Izabela and Aline at the front desk made sure I had a great time in Santiago! Izabel set up a number of fantastic and personalized tours for me and Aline gave me great recommendations for local attractions. And the chef Cecili, who made delicious breakfasts each morning, also gave me a personalized tour of the local markets. They were all amazing and I appreciate everything they did for me 🙂

If you stay in one of the rooms next to the bars and restaurants, line the Yellow Room, you may be kept awake by the noise. The rooms overlooking the street, such as the Green Room, are much quiter.

The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. My problem was that the facilities were not open for early exit dark true McDonald's restaurant.The breakfast service started at the 8am . My room came with free breakfast and on both days I had to leave before 7am. Not value when I am in title to free breakfast. I texted the Hotel for credit and their response was breakfast at 8 am. That should be disclosed for me to make the right choice where I want to stay not to pay and not receive it. That is not when I pay twice for meals.I paid $15 a day for a total of $30. I requested reimbursement or I will go somewhere else that service is clear.

Clean room friendly staff

There are many hotels in the more modern sections of Las Condes, but that area lacks character. The Bella Vista area is cool and fun with many interesting restaurants, the funicular to the the Cerro Mountain as well as the Pablo Neruda House. The Hip Hotel is located within an enclosure that hosts many restaurants and shops. The room decor was quirky and comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

The Internet speed was very slow and would cut out. The system should be fixed or upgraded. Being in the middle of the entertainment enclosure meant that the loud music continued till 2 to 3 AM.

Location, close to many restaurants and zoo. It was a pickup point for our Valparaiso tour. Included breakfast was really good. Staff friendly. Safe area, quite a few security guards around the restaurants and hotels. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. A great end to a month in South America and Antarctica.n

Nightclubs and restaurants were noisy on Friday night, till 2:30am, but not so bad Saturday night and quiet on Sunday night. We were tired so it didn't bother us too much. Staff were hard to find. Air conditioning was only just good enough to make sleeping more comfortable. Perhaps it would be nice to have frosting on the glass bathroom door to give some privacy.

I loved everything about the Hip Hotel - perfect location in Bellavista Patio filled with restaurants and bars. Yes, it’s a bit noisy at night, but I enjoyed the music. 7 min walk from the Metropolitan park and the zoo. The district is crowded at night, but I always felt safe and comfortable. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor, it is very private and cozy. They serve breakfast every morning. The room is pretty spacious and modern, I was offered a huge bed made of 2 single beds and a bottle of wine for free. The staff is friendly and helpful, I checked in late at night and wasn’t able to pay straightforward as I had to visit the back to exchange money, and they gave me enough time to do everything.

The WiFi was sometimes slow and one night the water was not hot enough, but that all did not really matter.

Gorgeous room with a balcony and jacuzzi tub. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located instead of the Patios Bellavista, which is basically a restaurant/nightlife complex. It felt very safe because there were tons of guards around. The hotel is well-located: the Bellavista neighborhood is very nice, but also it is only a short walk to the metro and the neighborhoods of Lastarria and Bellas Artes. The hotel breakfast was tasty and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I was very happy that I chose this hotel!

My only complaint is that the loud music in the Patios Bellavista often lasts until 1 AM. I didn’t mind this because I am usually up until pretty late anyway, but I could see this being an issue for people who like to go to bed earlier.

I enjoyed my stay at The Hip Hotel Santiago. The Room was very comfortable and well decorated. The staff and especially Izabella was very helpful and gave us lots of good recommendations, including places to visit. She was very friendly and helped out many times. The area can get loud at night but sitting on the balcony in the morning was very enjoyable. The many cafes and Bella Vista area nearby were also nice to visit for breakfast and morning drinks. There are many other good places within a short walk to eat. Only amazing and without words.

The hotel is situated right in the centre of a lively, party vibe square - however the staff are quick to make sure you are aware and went over and above to ensure we had the room of our choice eg, if we wanted quieter then they were happy to change it which they did. I can't commend the staff highly enough throughout our stay. They were simply amazing and should be rewarded for their exceptional level of service. Breakfast was beautifully prepared every day and made to order. We loved our stay here.

Nothing at all

Breakfast was delicious. Service was excellent. I was provided a full day itinerary and lots of tips on the best things to see.

I think I was the only guest actively staying at the property? It was a little strange...just me and the hosts, and the patrons of the downstairs restaurant coming up to use the restroom. The upstairs bar was closed and I never saw a single other traveler while I was there. It was no problem, just unusual.

Really nice place with lovely rooms. Staff was super friendly and very helpful with the questions we had. It is in the middle of bellavista patio so a lot of nice bars, restaurants and good coffee! Breakfast at the hotel was also very tasteful.

The only thing is that in weekends it can be a bit noisy as it is in bellavista patio, but with earplugs (or going out yourself ;)) it’s not a problem
