Great location near main pedestrian street that will eventually take you to the famous Bund. Also subway is nearby, we took Maglev and subway from Pudong airport and when leaving we took the same subway to the train station. The room was great, it had everything we needed. You can do laundry directly in the room, there is a washer, they supply detergent. The breakfast was worth it, it's a buffet with a mix of Chinese and European food. Everyone could find something for them. The receptionists were friendly, spoke good English and were willing to help.

Absolutely loved this huge, well-vented and well-designed apartment, we had everything that we needed here and a great view to boot. The best parts were the weighted blanket and the black-out curtains - we slept very well. The staff was super nice and effective - the cleaning lady was *very* thorough. One of my favorite places to stay!

Fantastic location, large room/studio, good breakfast, quite affordable for what you get!

Although we paid and checked as a couple, the restaurant staff and the front desk lady insisted we have the right to take - only one breakfast !? Two passports copied, two keys, two pairs of slippers and two toothbrushes provided, BUT ONLY ONE BREAKFAST. We entertained a sitting protest right in front of the reception. After 15 minutes a supervisor came and decided he will give us "one breakfast free". The last day we asked for two breakfast packages due to very early departure. The answer of the front desk: 'The restaurant is not open so early." (5am). We insisted again and, no surprise, we got our breakfasts kits just before leaving the hotel (4:30 am). Conclusion: you will get everything you need if you try hard enough.

Our apartment was very clean and spacious. We were able to do laundry in our apartment as there was a washing machine (including dryer and laundry detergent) in the room. The Japanese toilet was a nice bonus. It's a 7 - 10 minutes walk to metro station People's Square (exit 7) and to Nanjing Dong Road. There is a Family Mart around the corner. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent 10+ nights in this hotel (family: 2kids+2 adults) and it was the very best accommodation we stayed at, during our vacations in the past few years (incl. 3 continents)- in terms of value for money it was excellent for us. Great LOCATION: Nanjing Road walking distance; People's Square metro station 8 min walking; eateries, shopping mall, grocery stores nearby; all the sights easy to reach from here. STAFF: very nice and helpful. BREAKFAST: excellent for us, wide range of choice of continental and local food, lots of fruit and veggies, everything fresh, delicious, never boring and very good coffee. :) ROOM, we had a family room: very spacious, comfy beds, blackout curtains, washing/drying machine, very well equipped kichenette, microwave oven, loads of storage place (wardrobe, shelves) so we could use this room/studio in a way as it were a separate, well-equipped apartment - we simply loved it. The room was provided with amenities constantly: washing powder, tea and bathroom stuff. CLEAN: yes it was, all part of the hotel. As for us: we absolutely recommend it!

We've been staying here for almost every time we were back to visit family and friends for at least three years. First of all, we really LOVE the location of this hotel (it is right in the Renmin Square, which is in the middle of everything) - walk-able distance to Nanjing pedestrian road, all the shopping malls, and subway 1/2/8 lines which pretty much can take wherever you'd like to go. Of course, we also LOVE the staff there - every staff working at the hotel (from the front desk, to the security uncles, nice people working at the restaurant, to the extremely friendly housekeeping sisters/aunties), are always attentive and ready to help whenever needed. This really made us feel that we are "at home". It was also a very memorable experience this year, during our most recent stay, because we celebrate the Spring Festival in Shanghai, while staying in this hotel. Definitely will come back again the next time we visit Shanghai. Highly recommended!

Nothing really. However, if the hotel could come up with more efficient ways/policies to stop some customers from smoking in their rooms (from now and then, we sometimes sensed cigarettes smell coming out of the ventilation system from the bathroom), that would make our stay even more pleasant. Also, if the bed can be somewhat wider (or if there is an option where the size of the bed can be selected from the hotel site), that would be more awesome.

Location is the key. Hotel is sitting on a green line #2, which connects Hongqiao and Pudong airports. Also it's our line to go to see our daughter who is studying in Pudong, and our son is in Puxi. Also, kids can stay with us on weekends. Just need one more room sometimes.

The breakfast could be better, choice isn't much, but there are plenty of it just around the corner, so it's really isn't a big deal. We like to have a porridge from the McDonalds or have some sandwiches from Starbucks.

This is a large hotel, located a 5-minute walk from Nanjing Road, a 15-minute walk from The Bund, and a 6-minute walk from the nearest metro station, People's Square, which offers access to three lines (1, 2, and 8). Metro line 2 provides direct access to both of Shanghai's airports. It is very convenient for visiting Zhujiajiao and other locations in Shanghai. A 3-minute walk will take you to a restaurant area near the hotel, where you can find good food at reasonable prices. The hotel is very clean, the staff are helpful, and the rooms are well-equipped. I strongly recommend this hotel to other travelers

Location is very ideal and the rooms are bigger than usual so enough to accommodate 5 of us in 2 rooms. The service staffs attitude is not bad and cleaning aunty cleans pretty well. Everyday fresh towels including hand cloths and floor mat is changed without asking.

Sofa bed seems a bit hard so maybe can look into it to make it softer. Water heater is using via a tank so hot water is limited for bathtub usage. There was a lack of water during one of our days that we stayed in the hotel so was disruptive. Post that the water is very dirty with white sediments.

Excellent choice in the heart of the city. Location is superb (walk down Nanjing Shopping St, walk to the Bund etc). Staff friendly and competent (we only interacted on checking in and out, both times they spoke English and everything was seamless). It was much larger than I expected, very quiet on our floor (10th). We were there for five days, studio unit. It was kept very clean with daily housekeeping, bed was comfy, bathroom spotless, room had everything needed. Didn’t get to try breakfast as we were jet-lagged and kept sleeping in. Would definitely stay again, an excellent value option. Used DiDi to get around city and they picked up from street in front of hotel easily. Nice little Family Mart on same block with essentials. Hotel has drop off spot in foyer for food delivery, and unit has basic kitchenette if you want to cook. Couple small malls on next block had great restaurants on ground floor for easy breakfast/lunch/dinner options.
