The breakfast included was tasty and filling, always with delicious fresh juices. The hotel was very cute, loved the courtyard views. The rooftop had an amazing view with lots of places to sit, plus there was a small pool which we used a few times.

The wifi was very spotty. The power went out several times while we were there, which was not the hotel's fault, however our room was right beneath the generator and one night did feel like we were sleeping in a construction site due to the noise.

The location, aesthetics and design were great! The cleaning team did a great job as well and were the friendliest.

For it to be a “luxury” hotel, the amenities were subpar. No choice with the included breakfast, lack of bar and laundry services was disappointing. They closed the courtyard after breakfast, which made no sense especially since e there are no desks and chairs in the rooms. The rooftop patio was dirty, no shade, fans, and often no cushions on furniture. While staff were professional, they were not friendly or welcoming, with the exception of one that mainly worked the late shift. We stayed in the area on our last trip at GHL Collection Armeria Real Hotel, which is down the street had exceptional hospitality and amenities spoiled us, so we’re were expecting similar treatment.

The staff is fantastic and the hotel is gorgeous. We were staying at the islands before coming back to stay in Cartagena. They were gracious enough to hold our extra luggage overnight. The breakfast was delicious and the rooftop was wonderful to sit and admire the city. Even though we were facing a busy roundabout, it was quiet at night. The beds are very soft but I usually find the beds to be too firm for my comfort, so I slept great. I recommend staying here and am looking forward to returning.

Great location — easily walkable to everything, but the location on the edge of Getsemaní meant it was much more accessible by car for pickup/drop-off than hotels located more centrally (we regularly saw long lines of cars backed up in the narrow, pedestrian-focused internal streets). Staff were very helpful and kind and daily room service was great. Room was perfectly ok but maybe felt a little tired — for example, rickety closure to bathroom door.

Nice quaint Colonial style setting with lovely Spanish style atrium courtyards around which rooms are arranged on 2 levels. ONE of these is where breakfast is served by attentive waitress. Helpful staff. Walk away from rest of Getsemani and 15 min walk into the Historic Center (the Walled City).

It may have been my particular room only, but it was bare bones, just the absolute essential just fine for one night. My TV didn't work. But it didn't matter for my short stay. The AC was hard to control. It's location at the corner edge of Getsemani feels a bit sketchy but the hotel itself is safe.

The location of Getsemaní Hotel is so convenient. It is not in the high tourist area of The Walled City and Getsemani but it is a very short walk from the noise and crowds. There are plenty of great food options right around the corner of the hotel. I will say the rooms are kind of small if one than one is in the but I knew that when I booked. And that is to be expected when a historical structure is redeveloped into a boutique hotel. The developers did a fantastic job incorporating pieces of the original structure into the new hotel design that highlights the historical time period. I will definitely stay here again!

We booked this hotel just hours before check-in, but got decent room for decent price. Rooftop pool was quite nice, and we were the only 2 people there which made it even better experience. Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. Our room started to have AC problems at around midnight - AC got very loud with screechy noises, when I took a short video of it, and showed to Staff member in reception, they immediately gave us another room and offered to help move our things, They showed that issues happen anywhere anytime, but can be dealt with efficiently and seemlessly. Walking distance from Getsemani nightlife

Do not try to check in before 3pm...no breaks on that ..some people..the breakfast waitress was nice..front desk did not feel welcome..afraid to ask for anything..I never did deal with them, because I felt like an intruder.the facility was nice after 1month traveling needed ac and hot showers alittle too expensive for long periods...

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spacious room, nice shower and fluffy towels. Comfy big bed. Fantastic blackout blinds which also dulled the sound of the street. Balcony - although it's view was on to the street. Nice courtyard to sit and relax. Within walking distance to all the sights of the old city. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment but I did see it and it looked good. They let me leave one of my bags in storage a week before I was due to stay as I was traveling further up the coast.

We loved: 24-hour reception and night time security at the door The sweet breakfast server: Lucy Breakfast portions are very generous, and every day there is a new fruit juice on offer. We also loved that were given choice: how we like our eggs, meat/vegetarian, juice, coffee/tea/hot chocolate Our enormous room (room 202, King Suite with balcony) had no neighbours, so did not hear other guests. The black-out blinds were very effective. The rooftop pool (though we wish it were open longer hours, it is open 9am-7pm) The location (just on outskirts of Getsemani neighbourhood, so not beside the tourist hustle nor any clubs) Great view of the San Felipe Fortification. Walkable in under 15mins to the Centre, the Fortifications, to the piers for boats... Close to so many awesome restaurants and bars and plazas to spend time in. The helpfulness of the reception staff: they helped us get laundry done and organise drivers for some excursions.

The hotel didn't provide a bath mat for the floor, nor hand towels. We felt over-charged for excursions based on the room we booked. When we arrived our room had an extra small bed in it, instead of a couch, as in the photos. The balcony is purely aesthetic: not able to open the doors completely, and it overlooks a very busy street. We were told inaccurate information by one staff member upon our arrival (breakfast time, pool hours) Not a lot of staff spoke English. The patio has no umbrellas/cover, so nearly impossible to be up there during the day. The hotel is on a busy street corner, so if you have a room facing the outside, it is always noisy with street traffic (honking, buses, motorcycles). The bathroom is sort of "open-air" (no ceiling), so it is not very private...
