Peaceful, compared to hectic, noisy Split (high season) a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Very helpful staff. Spotlessly clean room. Great sea view/balcony to enjoy room service. Small, but well served pool area. Distinct feeling of being privately owned rather than corporate chain.

3pm check in rigidity adhered to even though rooms were becoming available much earlier ( we arrived at 08.30 having been turfed off a cruise ship - other guests were departing before and after in a steady flow) we, along with numerous others had to hang around until exactly 3pm when there was then a queue! Unnecessary, painful, out dated Fawlty Towers thinking.

We spent 7 nights at Hotel Cvita and we can't recommend it enough, our room was big and had everything we needed and the bed was huge and comfy, it was cold for outdoors pool but we enjoyed the indoors one , sauna, massage service and gym facility, breakfast was very nice as well , 25 minutes walk to the city center and it is located up hill, it wasn't bad for us as it wasn't all up but if you have mobility issues or children there is a free parking and Uber is around 5 euros. The staff are simply the gem of this place, their kindness , welcoming , answering my many questions before and during our stay and their recommendations to places or how to get there were on point, I don't remember all your names but thank you Bruno Maya cleaning staff the two nice gentlemen at the reception for making the best of our stay and those last breakfast boxes were the cherry on the top.

The receptionist on arrival was excellent, so helpful, I think his name was Ante. Our room had a fantastic view of Split and the bay, the room was very nice and breakfast the next morning was also very nice. We were on the 5th floor, there is a lift to the 4th floor only but we were asked if that was ok which it was.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from Split but Ubers are plentiful and cheap if you dont fancy the walk.

All interactions with staff were pleasant. I was really only in my room to sleep. The bed was comfortable and room size was large. I did not get a sea view and was fine with that. Large tub in the bathroom. Breakfast each morning was delicious.

Hotel is located 1 mile from the Riva. It’s 22 minutes to walk or 19 minutes to drive. Walking into town was fine but coming back to the hotel is all up hill at a huge incline. When I arrived in my room all the windows were open which allowed some bugs to come into my room. One was a mosquito that then bit my face while I was sleeping. The room was not quite at all. If a neighbor came or went you could hear their door, you could hear them shower and hear them cough and flush the toilet.

We had the best stay we were upgraded to a room with sea view balcony on arrival staff were friendly and helpful ,- particularly Kristina and Bruno who helped with queries before we arrived, and once we got there - helping with directions, arranging taxis for us and just so friendly. Hotel superb, clean, great outdoor pool, great breakfast choice. Also had massages which were brilliant. Thank you Hotel Cvita - we loved our stay with you! J

Loved it all

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and professional, The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to start the day right. The hotel's location is a major plus, being close to the center of Split, which made exploring the city very convenient. The added bonus of free parking at the hotel was greatly appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, great amenities, and prime location.

The atmosphere. It was calm, relaxing and quiet. The whole experience was luxurious. The bathroom was gorgeous as well.

There was some lovely jam pastries on the first day for breakfast, which I didn’t see again for the rest of the holiday. They were very yummy!

We were given a warm welcome and our room was upgraded. There were two bathrooms, a balcony and plenty of space. We needed the air conditioning in the heat during our stay and the fridge was most welcome for storing drinks. The Breakfast Room was spacious and there was a great choice of food and drinks. Staff were very polite and attentive. Light snacks and drinks were available in the pool area throughout the day. The hotel is located up a steep hill, approximately twenty minutes walk from the town (just far enough to get some good exercise). There were two stony beaches a short walk down the hill; these were not very crowded.

Some of the hotel furniture and decor is a bit dated, but the facilities were adequate and easily met our needs. Our flat screen TV would not operate using the controller and we had to use manual control to get Sky News as the only English channel (not that we watched much TV).

Staff were lovely, we had a spacious room with balcony looking over the Adriatic Sea. It was about ten minute walk to the beach and about 20mins to town. But taxis and Ubers are everywhere. The breakfast was excellent with a huge variety. The outside pool was lovely, and the inside pool had a nice setting. They had a small gym which we used a couple of times, it had a couple of running machines and an upright bike plus some kettle bells and some serious weights.

We were there during really hot weather so it was pretty hot in the gym despite the aircon. A few barbells medium size would have been better for regular exercises. (Not body builders) these are minor points as we loved this hotel.

As many hotels don't have pools I was very happy to relax here for a few days. The pool was a little cold but I still enjoyed my time I also used the indoor pool which was nice. Very nice neighbourhood, it felt very safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Shower power was great and AC. The hotel did everything I needed it to do.

Perhaps it needs a little update like new towels. The new sunbeds were comfy but the old ones were not. The furniture it the room is dated but fine. The breakfast could do with a little something extra. the dream being avocado on toast or eggs benedict or something exciting.
