The forniture and the facility was of high standard

I did not like the way I was treated by one the staff member of the Hostel. One morning at around 04:00 I was in the hall of the hostel and the guy at the desk was very rude to me. After few minutes that I was on the internet with my iPad he told me that I had to leave immediately because he had to wash the floor but it was clearly a lie! He basically kicked me out from the room. I believe he had racial reasons as I looked like a Nord-Africa person. It was disappointed and I do believe that people like him should not work in hostels, it was the only bad aspect of the hostel.

Excellent hostel near the train station and not too far from the bus station. Everything was clean and in good order. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. If you have an early train or arrive late this is the best place. The hostel is safe. It is an inexpensive hostel, not a hotel. There is no a/c, if that is a problem for you stay elsewhere. The website tells you there is no a/c. Everything is clean and basic. You need your own soap. If you expect soap in a hostel shower you should go to a hotel. The staff is very nice.

nothing all good

Staff, hmm, not the stuff, but one angry woman (probably she's the most unfriendly there, met her twice) was very eager to instigate checkout time at 11... on sunday. I fully understand the reason, why checkout times are set, but all that commotion, caused by her, because we were leaving at 11:30 was a bit too much... and yes, i almost always leave past the checkout time, and i do travel quite a lot. If it's not more than one hour nobody cares.

Too long a time for check-in - why is check out time at 11:00am and check-in at 01:00pm ...!? Could be much more practical, from the customer side, that this is opposite: check-in start 11:00am and check out latest 01:00pm !!! I came to hotel at 9:45am, a must wait by the reception (btw, very tired and sleepy) and unnecessary loose my next 3.5 hours... go in the bed around 02:00pm, sleep shortest to 06:00pm and practically loose 3/4 of my planned two days spend in Zagreb...!???

Not organizing the reception desk for unpredictable, seldom, situation - because on my notchangable flight times, I came in around 9:30am and they couldn't (I'm not sure they really tried) and asked for asap getting some bed to sleep, because I didn't fully sleep two previous nights... they couldn't find any available bed to regular checking-in time at 01:00pm...!!??? Btw, they regularly charging the full day (24hours) although you need leave the room three hours earlier than is 24hours past (check in is earliest at 01:00pm, but check out is the latest 11:00am - it means you can stay max. 19 hours, but they declare and charge it like full day of 24hours)...!??

No dorm beds - rare and good. There was luggage storage in the room if you were willing to ask for a key with deposit. Room spacious, just for 3, wide windows and corridors. Clean baths and toilets. Room has a table fan, provides towels. Good lounge , nice staff. Most lower town attractions are 15-20 mins, tram stop is 5 mins.

A small kitchenette would had great value to this hostel. Also one key for the whole room is a bit of inconvenience, especially at night when the door has to be left unlocked because we are sleeping and don't want to wake up to open the door when someone wants to come in. Copies would be great, and make this hostel perfect!

I had an excellent experience staying at this hostel! Check-in was incredibly easy, even though I arrived late at night, as they operate 24/7, which is super convenient for travelers with unpredictable schedules. The location is unbeatable-right in the heart of Zagreb city center, close to all the main attractions, yet tucked away in a quiet spot that feels completely removed from the hustle and noise of the city. The staff were amazing-friendly, kind, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The toilets and showers were functional and well-maintained. Overall, this hostel strikes the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and great service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zagreb, whether for a short trip or an extended stay!

HI Hostel is very basic, but very clean. It has everything you need for a few days' stay. I spent most of my time in the city so I was basically only at the hostel to shower and sleep. The people who work in the hostel are very kind and eager to help. If you don't want all the fancy-looking unimportant stuff, this is the place to go.

The rooms and halls are quite noisy so bring your earplugs. Also, the common area is not very large or cozy, so I wouldn't recommend this hostel to solo travellers.

it was a nice location for walking around and catching the tram. our check in lady was extremely kind and helpful with lots of local knowledge. the beds were very comfy. and the bathroom was nice enough.

there wasn't a true kitchen, but they have fridge and microwave and kettle. you can use their bowls/plates/utensils which is helpful. we were on the top floor, so unfortunately it was very hot. we had a fan in the room but the windows could only open a sliver. it didn't make it a bad experience though.

Great location - 2 minutes from central station and 4 minutes from city center. They made a great recommendation for local food 5 blocks away from the hostel.

Receptionist girls do not have people skill - well I think was mostly with me (just felt that) Men bathroom was in poor condition, mainly the bath.

Amazing location, it was close to everything! The staff were helpful. The bathrooms were clean and seemed to have plenty of bathroom/shower stalls. We never had any issues.

The room was sooooo hot. We were on the bottom bunks as well, so I can’t even imagine how hot the top bunks were. AC or additional fans would be nice. It would be nice if the kitchen had a few more necessities. There’s a table but it only has one chair. There’s no sink or anything near the kitchen.
