A twelve night stay in Cyprus after a trip to Egypt and thankfully, a drop in temperature! We haven’t stayed at this hotel before but it sounded great. The hotel is clean and tidy as are the grounds and the food in the buffet restaurant is good with always something to find to eat. Unfortunately we didn’t have a car as planned to get out and about and when we arrived, needed to get to a Pharmacy about a mile away. Got ripped off for 20 Euros by a taxi booked from reception so didn’t go out again. There are no shops within walking distance unless you are young, fit and healthy. At the time we stayed (end of May), probably 90% of the guests were German, so possibly it’s like this all year. Constructive criticism for the Hotel … The pools are freezing! So much so, not even the kids stray into them often. Perhaps the Hotel manager should jump in and check?! The week before we were in Egypt and although the temperature was 43C, the pools are still heated for the comfort of guests. The entertainment, aside from the Magician and the light show is dire! I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who said they wanted to go to Cyprus to see Spanish dancing as an example, and the entertainment team’s effort with a Boy Scout and yet more world dancing is terrible! Keep the Saxophonist but sack his accompanying singer! It’s a bit like a talent competition at Butlins! 🤣. One week here and you have seen all the entertainment, two weeks and you are going to see it twice! Apologies for the criticism but primarily due to the pool and the entertainment, we won’t be returning. Sort those two things and you will get many more returning guests.

the facilities was excellent. The hotel was by the sea. Free upgrade on sea view due to availability. the third person in the same room (my son) had a proper twin bed and not a roller bed or sofa like almost all other hotels in the area. The stuff was very helpfull

The pool beds availability. Guest were waking up early in the morning and putting staff on the beds just to book them. One hotel towel on two beds. non hotel towels. Personally i had to book from beds from the public area (paid) just to have a beach beds for the family The situation was inconvenient for evrybody. The hotel should change the policy and during check in the client should be able to book a set of beds based on occupancy.

The room is very big and it has a very nice view, no matter which room you get. The beach is wonderful and is very well organized. We loved that you could rent a big bed on the beach, although it was a bit expensive. Breakfast and dinner are just great, very varied and with a good quality.

I didn't like the mattress at all, it was very hard and it gave us back aches. Maybe some other people like it like that... The bathroom has not any amenities besides a lousy tube of shampoo and one of shower gel. There aren't any slippers, bath robes, hair conditioner, body lotion, etc which I was expecting from a 4 star hotel. The water pressure was very low and the bathroom fan was not working ( room 444).

This hotel is truly impressive. It looks just like the pictures—spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The amenities cover everything you might need, from fitness classes and a relaxing spa to a well-equipped gym and a salon for hair and nail treatments. There’s also a convenient shop inside, stocked with clothing, snacks, and drinks. To top it all off, it boasts stunning views of Makkronis Beach, making it the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to Anca, the guest relations manager, who made our stay exceptional. She checked in on us throughout, ensuring everything was perfect, and shared plenty of helpful tips that truly enhanced our experience. Her attentiveness and dedication made all the difference.

One small thing to note: while the rooms come with an ironing board, an iron isn’t provided by default. It can be rented for a refundable deposit of 20 euros in cash, and this was quickly resolved when I was provided one to use in my room. Also, the hotel is located 1.5 miles away from town, so you’ll need a taxi or a car to get around. It's not a major issue, but it's worth keeping in mind.

Beautiful hotel, friendly kind staff and perfect location. Exceptionally clean and breathtaking beach.

noisy guests, they have no respect for others. shouting down the hall early morning and late at night and slamming doors. The hotel needs to make it clear to guests to be more quiet. signs ect and reminders when they check in. Hotel perfect but most guests were unpleasant and rude. I know this isn't the hotels fault but just be aware that they don't make your stay inviting. Just certain groups (6am towels on beds!) also no tea or coffee facilities. This was really missed. Beds on beach (part of the hotel) £70 euro for the day!! Extortionate extra price

Amazing location on a fantastic beach! We got the upgrade of the room for free upon arrival. Excellent variety of food with thematic nights every evening. Kids' animation was fantastic.

Rooms are small. If you are a family of four, you can barely walk between the beds.Also, every evening, we had to wait for at least 15 minutes to get into a restaurant for dinner. There was always a huge line.

The location is great. Next to the beautiful beach. Great pool area for children. Don’t do all inclusive, there are great taverns in the area and their a la carte restaurant ist also amazing.

The breakfast buffet was the same every day and not a very good variety. Very tailored to what the english love: beans, soggy bacon, cheap „eggs“ and random sausages. The croissants are good.

+ the food is at a very high level, the choice is quite diverse, the meat is cooked great; + the beach, it seems to me, is one of the best in Ayia Napa, a golden delicate sand;

- the drinks in All Inclusive are bad, they drank mostly water in the end; - there is nowhere to walk outside the hotel. The hotel is located outside Ayia Napa, and if during the day there is still an opportunity to walk along the sea to see the local beauty, then it is impossible to walk after dark. There is no complete lighting in the area; - we didn't really like the sauna.

We stayed for 7 days in May at this hotel. Overall we had a nice time. + fantastic sea view + very clean (room, pool, hotel) + comfy room with a nice terrasse + silent nights (after midnight) + good reception + very close to the beach + nice pool area + food was good, every day there was a different "theme", repeats after two weeks (which is normal) Overall would recomment and come back again.

There were some (minor) issues: - no drinks included (half-board), water was EUR 3.50! They seem to make a profit regarding drinks. This should be communicated more clearly beforehand. - weddings are taking place at the nearby Koralli Restaurant, so music can be very load at night. Party closes around midnight and wedding guests leave - isolation of walls could be better - no bathrobe and slippers - be aware that not all pools can be used. On the photos you see pools that are only for private access (for people who have booked this kind of room with a terrasse)

Location of Asterias beach hotel is perfect, just two minute to the beach. Beach is very nice, even it can be crowded, it is big and is perfect for swimming. Room was big and spacious. Cleaning ladies were very nice. We had breakfast, but after two days decided to upgrade to half board. Food was very good, good variety. Definitely recommended for relaxation vacation.
