Price: For what I paid, this hotel was amazing and exceeded my expectations based on price. Room: Good size, clean with an ok size bathroom. The bed was large and super comfortable. There was a small balcony but big enough for two people to sit on. We had a lovely view of the pool. Aircon: New and amazing Wifi: Generally good, slowed slightly when I guess most guests were streaming films in the evening. Pool: Clean, not overly deep and a good size Staff: Super friendly and helpful Restaurant: Small food menu but food was lovely and good value for money Bar: Beer was a good price, soft drinks were slightly over priced but there is a mini market round the corner to stock your room cheaper. Location: We were diving at the dive centre/marina just round the corner so it was perfect. Only 10mins from the airport, and close to restaurants. The buses that link the cities is about 20-30 minute walk away up the beach strip. Noise: Lovely and quiet Overall, the hotel has had a facelift a couple of years ago and its a little gem for price. I would definitely return.

Breakfast: Slightly limited choice and fried eggs were cold everyday but for the price not bad. Nothing else bad, this is a great hotel for the price.

I read a lot of reviews before checking in and was prepared for the worst. But I liked everything. Many reviews were not true, or the hotel solved many problems. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable beds, good mattress, fresh linen and towels. There are blackout curtains. Everything worked in the shower. Great continental breakfast by the pool. Free Wi-Fi in the room worked great. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. Within walking distance to bars, restaurants, the promenade and attractions (St. Lazarus Church, Larnaca Castle)

There is no kettle, tea or coffee in the room and no bottled water. I would also like to be able to buy slippers as the room has tiles on the floor and is not comfortable. Our balcony did not close. We were a little worried about the things we left behind as there was a safe but it did not work. I was a little surprised by the placement of the TV under the ceiling. It is a very strange solution and I see it for the first time. At the very least, it is inconvenient)

The room was very clean, they clean every day and change the bedding every 3 days. The location was great - just two blocks away from the sea - as the walking path along the sea and the bars there were the perfect evening. Always found parking in front of the hotel. The triple room had three normal beds (not like in the photos), thankfully

The room is a bit small - probably cause they just put a third bed in a double room. Breakfast is fine but it's almost exactly the same. It's also a bit early (till 9.30am) so if you're the kind of holiday goer that sleeps in, good luck. Note that when they clean the rooms daily they move things around so you might want to tidy after yourself if you don't want to see your pyjamas in a ball thrown in some random corner.

I really don’t understand negative reviews about this hotel. We stayed here for the first time and only have good feedback to give. Staff super friendly and helpful,all requests were considered immediately. We didn’t hear any neighbours, the area where hotel is located is very quiet itself. Room service every 3days,clean bed sheets and towels. The AC worked great, sometimes we even felt cold :) So it’s good value for these money. The hotel is located close to restaurants,shops and the beach. Please consider that the mini fridge is not included in the price of room, we have rented it for 3€\day.

The working hours of pool could be extended Free ice would be nice

This is the forth time I booked a stay at Cactus Hotel and first time I came with my, now, husband. At first, I looked at the negative reviews and comments about the hotel and was really surprised and wondered if the hotel had changed since Covid as I had a wonderful experience in 2018. Turns out, nothing have changed and Cactus is still a WONDERFUL hotel that offers a wonderful experience to their customers. The staff is just so nice, welcoming and here to help. There is nothing missing in the rooms and it was super clean and comfy. The hotel is very near the bus stops and on a direct line to the airport. Anyway, I could go on and on, thank you Cactus hotel for this exceptional stay, he will remember our time there.

We LOVED everything

Location, as it’s 8min from the airport by car, or by bus ( bus stop 3min). Hotel restaurant with service provided by great cook! Large swimming pool and plenty tanning beds.Great local restaurant Valia next door. Two local supermarkets in distance of a few minutes walk. And of course sea coast in distance of 5min walk. My favourite place for a short and long getaway.

Excellent breakfast. Good service Very cute design. Good atmosphere of people around. Even a bus driver knew the hotel and helped to get there

The hotel was far from the city center. Although it was close to the airport so that's nice too. And the hotel didn't have that much information about the surrounding city either. There was no map of the city or recommendations and they didn't know how to tell us too much about the buses.

Room was perfecr for our needs Staff super friendly and helpful Location right near beach and restaurants. Nice and quiet area even though we were at the front of the building. Lovely swimming pool. Felt much more than a 2 star hotel.

Best for its price. Other affordable hotels nearby cannot be compared with Cactus. The room was light and clean with more or less fresh furniture. Bed linen was fresh and clean, there was a blanket/duvet which is not always available in cheaper hotels . The bed was comfortable at all.

The AC was not stable so it was difficult to warm up the room. The fridge is only upon request. No power outlet near the working table.

Would have liked more breakfast variety and to be cooked on the spot. I wasn't able to request fresh linen and towels daily. Wasn't happy that towels was changed every 3days when i would have like everyday or maybe every other day.
