Most comfortable beds for people who have problems with back. I have checked ALL options in the area. Maybe for someone it will be useful.

Simply, a 2 star hotel with 5 star staff, there was an unfortunate "waft" of sewer smell that appeared in the bathroom, I think that might just be local plumbing, but the reception desk sent up cleaners and cleaned everything thoroughly but it still persisted, so maybe a plumbing issue. But the main thing that made my stay so endearing was how kind, warm and friendly the staff were, they treated me like family and that's the most important thing to me, as I said, 2 star hotel with 5 star staff! :) Cyprus probably isn't for me (too hot), but they helped me and if I ever go back to Cyprus I'd stay at this hotel again!

Price: For what I paid, this hotel was amazing and exceeded my expectations based on price. Room: Good size, clean with an ok size bathroom. The bed was large and super comfortable. There was a small balcony but big enough for two people to sit on. We had a lovely view of the pool. Aircon: New and amazing Wifi: Generally good, slowed slightly when I guess most guests were streaming films in the evening. Pool: Clean, not overly deep and a good size Staff: Super friendly and helpful Restaurant: Small food menu but food was lovely and good value for money Bar: Beer was a good price, soft drinks were slightly over priced but there is a mini market round the corner to stock your room cheaper. Location: We were diving at the dive centre/marina just round the corner so it was perfect. Only 10mins from the airport, and close to restaurants. The buses that link the cities is about 20-30 minute walk away up the beach strip. Noise: Lovely and quiet Overall, the hotel has had a facelift a couple of years ago and its a little gem for price. I would definitely return.

Breakfast: Slightly limited choice and fried eggs were cold everyday but for the price not bad. Nothing else bad, this is a great hotel for the price.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. While it's not a luxury property, it’s clean, recently renovated, and very well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated that after checking out, I was allowed to use the pool, the pool shower and changing rooms until my departure. At this price, the hotel provides excellent value for money and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay on a budget.

The rooms acoustic insulation from the corridor could be better. There are no suitable power outlets or adapters in the room — you need to purchase or rent one which is not convenient, especially for short stays.

I read a lot of reviews before checking in and was prepared for the worst. But I liked everything. Many reviews were not true, or the hotel solved many problems. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable beds, good mattress, fresh linen and towels. There are blackout curtains. Everything worked in the shower. Great continental breakfast by the pool. Free Wi-Fi in the room worked great. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. Within walking distance to bars, restaurants, the promenade and attractions (St. Lazarus Church, Larnaca Castle)

There is no kettle, tea or coffee in the room and no bottled water. I would also like to be able to buy slippers as the room has tiles on the floor and is not comfortable. Our balcony did not close. We were a little worried about the things we left behind as there was a safe but it did not work. I was a little surprised by the placement of the TV under the ceiling. It is a very strange solution and I see it for the first time. At the very least, it is inconvenient)

The room was very clean, they clean every day and change the bedding every 3 days. The location was great - just two blocks away from the sea - as the walking path along the sea and the bars there were the perfect evening. Always found parking in front of the hotel. The triple room had three normal beds (not like in the photos), thankfully

The room is a bit small - probably cause they just put a third bed in a double room. Breakfast is fine but it's almost exactly the same. It's also a bit early (till 9.30am) so if you're the kind of holiday goer that sleeps in, good luck. Note that when they clean the rooms daily they move things around so you might want to tidy after yourself if you don't want to see your pyjamas in a ball thrown in some random corner.

Beautiful new pool and dining area which had been refurbished during the winter. Great little hotel run by a lovely family.

Bathroom was a little small, but nothing that could be really done to it to improve. No fridge in the room, and a charge of €5 per day if you wanted to hire one, which we found a little excessive, especially as we were there for 14 nights.

The owner and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I found the actual room very nice and the facilities were great as well as the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely come again in the future!

Mr Evdokios was wonderful to talk to, so was the lady at the reception Mrs Olga. Everyone is pleasant even the room house keeper was so smiley and pleasant, big thumbs up to all of them for making my stay positive.

Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast and dinner were good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room had nice pool view. Hotel has good location, 10 minute walk from Castella beach and Mackenzie beach. It's in the quiet part of Larnaca. I would recommend this hotel, it's great value for money.

We had a great experience in the hotel. The staff were very helpful. Evdokios was very knowledgeable and helpful with all the tour destinations around the island and was always there to answer any questions about anything in the hotel or anything we required. Very enjoyable stay at the Cactus Hotel and will definitely book again on our next trip
