We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. A special mention goes to one of the receptionists—he was exceptionally helpful, polite, and professional, a level of service that is rare to find these days. The breakfast was good, offering a variety of high-quality dishes. The wellness facilities, including the pool and sauna, were well-maintained, clean, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Reception staff were very helpful when needed, great ambassadors for the Hotel.

Shower in the room took a very long time to get hot water flowing, which was not consistent once it got there. Given ice and snow, walking to or from the hotel with luggage is impractical. Unfortunately, the whole town is let down by extremely rude bus drivers, and rip-off taxis. 10 euro for less than 5 minute trip and no taximeters. Sadly, this transport experience means I will unlikely ever return here. The city and its tourism operators need to take action to clean up their transport service people for any chance of a greater volume of return visitors.

The staff is the best: they make sure you feel at home and professionally answered to all my questions and spoke excellent English; Lucy is my favorite – very helpful to every detail of my request. Nice staff service. The location of the hotel is fantastic just across the road (the Tepla River) of the Colonnade (where major hot springs are located). The interior and exterior of the property were lovely in the Art Décor and very presentable. The room itself was a good size for the time you spend in there; and the bathroom was very well kept had a hair dryer as well; towels were changed every day and the bed made for us. Excellent breakfast (cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, breads, hot cereal, scrambled eggs, pastries, fruits , a selection of teas and coffees plus espresso made fresh on site and included in price). The hotel was really nice, and the price was really good too. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it's next to hot springs. I loved visiting Karlovy Vary and will definitely stay at the Astoria hotel again when I come back.

There is no kettle to boil the hot water in the room. However, the hotel offers 4 different kinds of tea in a separate tea room from 10 AM till 8 PM with pastries and it was really good.

Good hotel, confortable room, clean, quiet. Good breakfast. The swimming pool and spa area are nice but free only in the morning until 12, in the evening you have to pay the equivalent of 12€. But they let us use it on the morning of our check-out still, which was very nice. Perfect location.

Very difficult to park. The hotel says they have a private parking but actually only 3 spots are available so you have to book quite ahead. Alternatively you can park on the Polska street parking (free) which is 10 minutes walk away from the hotel but not convenient since you have to go up to reach this parking. You may come on the pedestrian street to unload your luggage and then go to that parking.

The view from balcony is VERY nice. Also during breakfast in 1st floor, we could see the colonade. Staff (Mr.Jakub) was very friendly and informative. The hotel is bit old but classic. Everything seemed renovated, such as wellness area, furniture, and toilet... It took rougly 15-20 min by walking from main bus station. The street where the hotel is located is beautiful. The room had coffee machine and several cups. It was an enjoyable stay.

Wellness area is bit small. When it is crowded, resting area is all full of occupied seats and beds. The wellness area itself was nice overall. Pool with water massage (not so strong but relaxing) and 3 different saunas. We were using two beds and one mattress was softer than another one.

wonderful breakfast - buffet, for a variety of tastes - both for protein and vegetarian lovers The windows of my room overlooked the central square, where every evening there were concerts - children's groups of local schools, but also professional jazz groups. The pleasure of street food and mulled wine. Christmas!

They didn’t immediately tell me at the information center about the Karlovy Vary Card, which gives free access to museums, cable cars, transport, and discounts on concerts. Be careful in restaurants, place your order in a language that the waiter understands, otherwise there will be embarrassment.

Bathroom and shower is extra small. I'm well built male and had issues turning around inside it. Wellness is missing Jacuzzi, what is quite surprising. Just 3 parking slots, impossible to book during season. Parking available approx 400m from hotel.

Good location! Didn’t expect the bed was a little bit small. But it didn’t bother meat all :) Breakfast is easy but delicious enough to give you the energy you will need. I really love one of the front desk staff. He is super friendly and generous. He's fluent in English. I don’t have the Bolt app so I asked him to call me a taxi to take me to the terminal station. He did a great job and helped me as much as he could. I really appreciate the work he's done for me.
