Really liked this hotel. The hotel was clean, it was lovely an modern. The beds firm but comfortable. This was one of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel, so many healthy options. The gym and spa room (use of steam room and sauna) included in the stay was a great touch. The staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke great English which was helpful for us. The main train station is only a few minutes walk away and the direct AirPort Express drops off here. The hotel is really close to the national museum, and a 5-10 minute walk to the square, we weee very happy with the location. I would stay again if returning to Prague.

Only a small thing our room had a shower/bath combo. I find these difficult to navigate. Not sure you really need a bath in a hotel. I would suggest asking when booking if there are rooms available without if you are concerned about slipping.

They were always ready to offer recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, making me feel like a valued guest. Breakfast: The breakfast at Flakenstiener Hotel was an absolute delight. Each morning, I looked forward to a wide variety of delicious options catering to all dietary preferences. Whether you prefer a hearty, continental, or healthy breakfast, they had it all covered. The fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies were a delightful way to start the day. Room: My room at Flakenstiener Hotel was a sanctuary of comfort and elegance. The room was immaculately clean and well-appointed with modern amenities. The plush bedding ensured a restful sleep, and the attention to detail in the room's design was evident. It provided the perfect haven after a day of exploring the vibrant city. Location: The hotel's location couldn't have been better. Nestled in the heart of Prague, it was within walking distance of major attractions, including Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. The proximity to public transportation made it convenient to explore other parts of the city as well. Overall, my stay at Flakenstiener Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of excellent staff, delectable breakfast, comfortable rooms, and a prime location made it an unforgettable experience.

The location was excellent and central, and the breakfast was superb. We also felt that the room was serviceable and nicely decorated, and the bathroom in particular was very nice compared to other hotels we have previously stayed in. It was also a nice bonus to be able to pick up small sweets/baked goods every day at the reception.

The room was slightly smaller than our expectations, but not too small that it was uncomfortable for two people. The steam room in the sauna area did not seem to work as expected (the heat only seemed to linger towards the top half of the room and the bottom half felt colder in comparison).

The room's design was really modern, clean and fresh. Everything related to the 'hotel' side was fantastic. Any minor/issues or requests we made were dealt with incredibly professionally and efficiently. The locations is good - it's a 15/20 minute walk into the main parts of the city (tourist parts). We also found some great local restaurants and bars around the hotel too. My partner said the hotel gym was one of the better they'd experienced in a smaller hotel.

The Monkey Bar was disappointing. On our first night, we weren't allowed access because of a private event. In the evenings, service was slow and not overly professional - we waited 25 minutes for our first drinks on one occasion. It's a shame because the space was great.

- location very convenient, 5 minutes walk from the main train station and right next to the opera and museums - recently redesigned hotel, everything is new and sparkling clean, the lobby smells like lemongrass essential oil - I booked here on a whim, to spend my birthday in beautiful Prague, and got an upgrade and treat. Thank you! The room was on a high floor, quiet, large and stylish with a huge comfortable bed. They have a pillow menu that includes lavender pillows - breakfast had large selection and many fresh options, including things like ginger shots. Worth noting that special a la carte options like eggs florentine are included in the price - there is a spa in the hotel, and the room toiletries are from the same brand and smell very good. Lots of other goodies besides slippers and bathrobes, like dental kit, hair comb, shaving kit and ladies kit (I rarely see that)

Modern boutique hotel, very clean. The staff were nice and helpful. Good location next to the train station.

You can hear doors being closed very loudly in the other rooms throughout the day. Monkey Bar wasn't great value for money.

One of the best spa space in town. Very clean and modern. Room also spotless, with very good bedding. Breakfast was more than excellent. One of the best breakfast in our travel experience. Fresh juice pressed in front of you. Many choices!

This is our 3rd time staying in this hotel booked via booking.com Only thing to notice is although we were regular guests but the receptionist doesn’t seem to notice. The check in and check out process was very robotic. Which for me is very important to have a more personal guest experience and relation to make our stay even more enjoyable. Otherwise, staffs are all polite and friendly

Great boutique hotel. Room was great and spacious, and staff super friendly. Breakfast was substantial and very good quality. Had some tapas on the monkey bar on our first night, due to late arrival, and it was very nice. Asked for an Irish whisky, and it was served as it should be, on a straight whisky glass with no ice, very impressed. Stay coincided with my birthday and they surprised me at breakfast with a little cake, very thoughtful. Back I'm prague again in the spring and we will stay here again.

One night we heard sounds coming from the heating/ air conditioning, which did wake us up. Assume just a maintenance issue.

The location is perfect and close to everything, including the central station and yet it's quiet. We only used the bus to and from the airport, everything else was walking distance. We got some great food recommendations from the hotel staff but the hotel food is great too and the breakfast is rich (and fits most, if not all dietary needs). The rooms and hotel are very clean and well kept. The staff is very kind and accommodating and they are quick to respond we had a lovely time staying there.

The rooms temperture is perfect but the heating is air conditioned which for me was a bit too dry but my friend was not bothered at all, just me.I am a bit sensitive to that and have never mentioned it to the staff, maybe they would have been able to assist if I had,

My teenage son and I stayed here for 3 nights in Nov/Dec. Modern, stylish hotel with really good service and perfectly located near the station and a 10-min walk to the main square. Staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. On arrival we were upgraded to a very spacious suite - which unfortunately we declined after seeing as it felt claustrophobic with 3 very small windows facing the sky. We moved to a standard room with street view. (214). We appreciated the bathroom with a bath and fantastic water pressure, and enjoyed having windows which opened up to the street below.

The air con was noisy and too hot most nights, and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. Then on the final night, it was cold and stuck on 19 degrees, so we were given a portable heater in our room. The TV lacked English-speaking channels including movie channels. The toilet paper was thin and scratchy, definitely not 5-star standard. Breakfast was fabulous but overly priced (AU$60 pp per day).
