Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect! My mom, little sister, and I stayed for 4 nights, and everything was amazing. The room was spacious and cozy, and we even received small gifts for Christmas and New Year’s, such a thoughtful touch! The breakfast was exceptional, offering everything you could possibly want and more. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk to the tram, which is only three stops from the city center. The highlight, though, was the staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, always smiling, and so helpful. Truly a 10/10 experience. I really really recommend this hotel ☺️

The location is very quiet and not so far from the center, especially with the public transport. They reserve the parking for you and you pay at the reception, and there are places to choose from, the area is pretty quiet. The room has everything you need. It's extremely clean and spacious. You can set the heating as you wish or simply turn it off completely. We had breakfast included every morning, and we loved it. Great variety of warm and cold food, salads, fresh and cooked vegetables, meat of many kinds, and on top of everything, waffles that you can make yourself (the kids loved making and eating them, and so did we). There were all sorts of sweet mouses, puddings, pastries, fruit, and smoothies. In 3 days, by choosing different things every day, I couldn't cover tasting all of them. The restaurant for lunch and dinner is also great! We had dinner there once and the food was fantastic! The staff was also very kind, nice, and with a lot of good quality humor. There is another restaurant across the street, for variety, in case you also want something else, and I actually recommend it for the local traditional feeling and food.

One evening, we were preparing to have dinner, and the restaurant was closed due to a local free legal day, but there was no notice in advance. That's when we tried the restaurant across the street and were actually happy it happened that way.

Excellent breakfast. Everything was delicious and high quality. There was even a citrus juicer for making fresh orange juice yourself. I've never seen this in any hotel before. Great location in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The metro (line A) is only a 10 minute walk away. The room was luxurious, and the bed was comfortable. Staff is very professional and attentive.

For me personally, the only negative is that there is no private parking inside a garage or a courtyard. You can park on the street and reception registers your plates with the city for 400czk per weekday. I guess this is ok since this is a very safe neighborhood and parking is not hard to find.

We stayed at this hotel with a newborn. We booked one of the larger rooms, so a baby cot would fit inside. The room was indeed very spacious. Baby cot was bit tired but very clean. There was also a coffee machine which we could use to heat water. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was very very good, both heavy and light fruity choices. As a bonus, there is a good restaurant in the hotel, and a one of the oldest restaurants in Prague is found just across the street and is definitely worth a visit.

The hotel offers parking without having its own parking spaces. Guests should leave their car in public parking spaces around the neighborhood and the reception registers their license plate in a town parking system. It was not too easy to find a spot as we came in the evening.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room is very comfortable, clean, quiet and has everything you need because they think of every detail for the well-being of the guest. We have a 2-year-old daughter and even though we didn't ask for a crib, when we got to the room it was already there, all organized with everything my baby would need. The breakfast was wonderful with several options and you can also make fresh orange juice, delicious. The restaurant was a bonus because it is very cozy and the food is delicious. There is a very beautiful and huge park near the hotel, it is worth taking a walk. They gave us many treats and if we ever go back we will stay there again, everything was truly wonderful.

Breakfast-as always the variety and quality was perfect. I rate breakfast mostly on the freshness of the food and the type of ham. If you get a real piece of ham so called full meat from leg, thats for me "the ham". Some 4stars hotels are able to serve you mixed minced meat as a ham. In Schwaiger you will get always a nice piece of ham! Beside fresh orange juice made by yourself, Schwaiger gives you a chance to make you your own waffle. In the cold appetisers you will find yummy "russian egg" a tradition of Czechoslovakia. You will be positively surprised how tasty breakfast can be served in such small hotel. Room we got upgraded and it was nice and clean.

The hotel is in a great area and is in a historical building, which really makes it a unique experience. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The restaurant garden is amazing, even if unfortunately the weather was too cold for us to use. Definitely recommend!

I was surprised by the service level, considering the hotel claims 4 stars. There is just one person at reception and we had 3 particular unpleasant experiences with him: - We had booked 5 rooms and arrived at the hotel at 1 pm, where the check-in is at 2 pm. He claimed that none of the 5 rooms is ready and refused to let us drop our luggages there. We left the luggage in the common room, so no big issue, but was a bit weird. - In the evening we had selected one restaurant for dinner and I asked the guy if he could call the restaurant and help us make a reservation. He said "we don't do that". - I asked for an iron and I was supposed to go down to reception to take it instead of someone bringing it to me. None of these is a deal breaker for me, but they don't suit a 4 star hotel.

This hotel couldn't be a better choice in Prague, away from the crowd of tourists. Close to a park, in the north, between lots of embassies, it's placed in a very nice location with access to public transportation after a short walk and in a very safe area. If you are looking for a retreat in Prague this is it. The staff was very welcoming with us and gave us really nice tips around Prague, which we appreciated very much. Rooms are large, clean with lots of amenities and the breakfast was very good. You have to try the restaurant near this hotel, besides the one at the hotel which unfortunately was closed when we arrived.

If you are looking for a quite room, do not take the one with balcony or facing the street. The cobblestone street is making a humming noise when cars pass by. Plus Na Slamniku restaurant sometimes has concert nights which end at 00:00 and the bass can be felt in the room. With windows closed it's really not bad at all, but sensitive people might have a hard time with this. After a long day of walk in Prague, we were so exhausted that these didn't matter and we were already used with living facing a busy street and late night sleepers. So maybe these rooms are not suitable for you if you prefer quietness and you are a light sleeper.

A small and cosy hotel that was perfect for our first time in Prague. We were very well welcomed, were given good advice on how to discover the city. Breakfast was limited but efficient (and good) which we appreciated. No need to go over the top with choices if they are not good! The room was spacious, clean, the surroundings are calm. 8 minute walk to the metro, but easy to have a nice walk to the old town with beautiful sights.

We didn't dislike anything particular. If we are talking improvement, common areas could be modernized (reception, breakfast room...) a bit but that is just personal taste!
