Comfy rooms, great staff. A hostel with private rooms is my favourite kind of stay option anyway. it's chill and easy. Ample smoking area. LOVED the bar with lots of fresh draught beer available with easy access from the hostel. Great location. <3

I feel like tea & coffee should be available on a complimentary basis, and laundry could have been slightly cheaper.

Clean toilets and showers. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds had their own fans. You could leave your luggage after checking out or before checking in.

They charged for towels (and they were really small). Instead of lockers you get a cage with wheels that are under the bed, and it’s REALLY noisy. There was no shampoo, shower get, conditioner. At the kitchen the washed plates and cups are all stuffed in the same corner, and when we dropped a cup instead of being helped by the stuff (which heard the noises), we had to ask for a broom, and instead got a cleaning brush with a handle

It is very new and clean. The location and kitchen facilities are also great.

There is no fan in the dorm room so it was constantly stuffy without any air flow. While the window does open it faces the street and is too cold to keep open overnight. They also don’t even rent towels? You must buy it which doesn’t make sense for a traveller who is packing light.

The place was very clean, the kitchen was fully and beyond expectations equipped Each bed had a large basket where I can fit my whole trolly (don't forget to bring your lock!) There were a few places to sit so it was very nice

There was a lot of noise from outside and no AC in the room, which meant we had to leave the window open (otherwise there's no air) and deal with the noise Also, it is pretty expensive, I can't say it's not a good value for money, but still, on the expensive side of hostels, sleeping in a room for 3, is already similar to taking a room alone in some different places

Luma Terra is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It reminds me of a 4 star hotel with pristine white marble flooring and it's modern fresh interior design. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and by each bed you gave a fan, light and socket. The storage provided is terrible you need to pull the entire unit out to a access or store your items. The hostel isn't very sociable which in unfortunate considering the beauty of the hostel. If you're looking to make friends/engage with other travellers pick a different hostel. The events at the hostel are lack lustre. Movie night, a walk and a picnic didn't attract much attention during my stay. The lady who organises the events is lovely. Overall a lovely stay. I would recommend this hostel to others considering booking it.

Design of the storage units Smell of the mixed dorm bedrooms Events organised by the hostel Not a sociable hostel

I was very happy with my stay at Luma Terra. I chose it because of its location being close to the metro as well as the value and price that I paid. The room and bed were comfortable. The lighting and power availability in the bed area met my needs. I did request a bed change after the first night because I had a bad knee and I was assigned a top bunk. Sasha at the desk was very helpful in getting me switched to a different room with a lower bed available. Breakfast was great to have every morning, offering a very wide variety of food and beverage items. I drink significant amounts of water and being able to fill my bottle from any of the taps was a plus as I didn't have to buy still water. The wifi work well in the rooms as well as down in the lobby and dining area. I did purchase souvenirs there in a little gift cabinet. When the lock that I purchased My first night night failed, it was replaced. You're charged. I don't know the names of the kitchen staff so I can't thank them properly. I do want to thank AnnMarie specifically for her help my first night. Apparently, I had a bad plug device and it Is was tripping the power. It took a few minutes to sort the problem out. I did not personally use the laundry nut my roommate did and she said that was very easy to use. My future plans, I will factor that in so that I can reduce the amount of clothes that I bring with me.

The only complaint that I had was the staircase at the entrance to get up to the lobby. I was traveling for an extended stay and had suitcases. Between those and my bad knee climbing up and down to get in and out of the building was a challenge. I didn't find another entrance to use.

Absolutely amazing hostel. Very smart and tidy, with great facilities throughout for backpackers. Although we weren't actually backpacking, it felt like a great environment to be in and around. Staff were fantastic and very helpful, and our private room was excellent. Genuinely astonished that it cost us so little - literally half the price of hotels that we had seen in the area that would have been worse, I reckon.

I'm nitpicking here - but a couple of things to pick up on. Coffee machine was a little 'meh' on the taste. Would be great to have another couple of pillows if possible - but I accept that we didn't ask! We paid for towels at check-in, but found that we had already been supplied them when we got to our room. Never mind - was not significant.

I have not stayed in a Hostel as clean as this in a while. The shared bathroom was exceptionally clean in my opinion and the room was also comfortable to stay in. Since it was hot, the personal fan attached at each bed was very useful too. I also liked that there was a lockable compartment for all my things and luggage under the bed, and that there was a curtain on the bed that i could draw for more privacy. The location is also great, since I could walk anywhere in the city within 30-40mins, and the tram station was just across the road too.

The only "negative" things I encountered had nothing to do with the Hostel itself, but rather with the other people staying in my room. For example, there was trash left on the table, even a spilled drink that no one seemed to clean up. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay here.

The appartment was a good value for money. Is large enough and kitchen is separated from bedroom, even bathroom has a separation. Location is great, close to Metro, tram and city center. Everything was rather new and in good condition. Breakfast was good, for 10 euro extra.

We had constant problems with water pressure, sometimes we were completely without water. Happend in the evening that we wanted to take shower , and water stopped.. Breakfast was 10 euro and was a decent one, however coffe machine broke and we had to buy our Coffee from the automat even if it was included normally in breakfast , costed us almost 6 euro... I put the sign on the door "please clean my room" it did not happend, when we came back no cleaning and the sign was turned to do not disturb -weird - and we recieved no appologies from Reception, however they collected our garbage (garbage was the biggest issue since diapers are very smelly, our entire bathroom was smelling) Kitcken is missing a dishwasher (this can be relevant on longer stays, we survived.

They allow you to leave luggages before you check in and after you check out. Has an elevator inside the building. Not in the city center but still walkable.

I stayed in the double room and the private toilet was not very clean, can smell of urine when you are close to the toilet bowl. The shower gel rack was broken, and the shower gel bottles were put on the shower cubicle floor. There's a timer for the ventilation fan which was quite annoying when you need to press repeatedly instead of a straight forward on/off switch. It did was a bit noisy as the room was facing the busy main road but i was okay i have earplugs. Doesn't really match the hype.
