My favourite place to stay in Darwin for business. Everything is very efficient and the hotel has a great pool with bar with a well times happy hour, fast and easy breakfast set up and the rooms are very quiet and cool. Also the parking set up is good albeit some work going on in that area on this visit. Given the flight regime to and from Adelaide, the later check out of 12pm at any Doubletree works great here for me. It gives me a base for the day when I fly back late and allows somewhere to do some work and calls instead of just a cafe.

Just starting to look a little dated but I see an upgrade is underway just as I checked out. The breakfast is a big lacklustre but I can see they are trying to add some interest to it. The front desk can be slow service. Foxtel wouldn't kill them especially to watch AFL content

Pleasant surroundings, good breakfast choices. Ordered omelettes one morning. Rather dry, and not quite the fillings we ordered.

One thing appalled us, and if it is hotel policy that is shocking. We returned from a latish breakfast one morning to find the cleaner wiping out the cups we had used for tea the previous night with what looked like a towel. We found this VERY unhygienic, and thereafter washed our cups before using them, drying them on paper tissues. We expected cups to be removed for proper washing, and replaced with clean ones. Really coloured our stay.

The hotel is very nice, the reception very pleasant and there is also a large playground opposite the hotel. The room had everything we needed and we slept in comfortable beds. The cleaner did a fantastic job cleaning and providing with everything we needed every day. The pool was fantastic and the staff provided towels for us and were always there to help with everything. The best part was that there was always free cold water to refresh yourself when you got out of the pool, something that you don’t see everywhere. Breakfast was really good! They provided for us free parking and free wifi and that was definitely a bonus! We will definitely go back!

Sometimes in the pool area dirty dishes were sitting around for long hours and it wasn’t a busy hour. Also the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. They could have added a bit of variety at the cheese and ham section.

Rooms are recently renovated and thoughtfully appointed. So we had a very comfortable stay. Staff were really terrific and made us feel very welcome.

Late night check in was a bit hit and miss. We weren’t given instructions about parking nor internet (which were apparently free). We were charged for a night of parking which could not be refunded. Internet was charged and then was apparently free (they credit this). These little things were a bit sloppy for a good hotel.

We loved the pool (stayed in July) it could of been warmer but the kids didn't mind. The buffet breakfast was great, only quibble was not enough fresh fruit such as watermelon, bananas etc The location was great, right across from the park and ocean. I visited the gym which I found was very clean and well equipped.

We loved the hotel the only issues were the water pressure in the shower. It was very low and made showering difficult. Also the size of the rooms was quite small for 5 people, plus there was no balcony so the room felt stuffy and crampt at times.

This place saved our month long trip to Australia! We had made a booking elsewhere in Darwin and realised immediately that we had made a mistake. The staff at the Hilton came to our rescue, found us a room, treated us as really wanted guests. The final 5 days were just lovely. The breakfast was good, the pool was really lovely and the one evening meal we had here was excellent.

I liked my room and the place looks nice and staff were lovely and welcoming as well

the only down side was paying $15 a day for wifi when most hotels give you free wifi with your stay and walls where dirty and needs a bit of cleaning

Swimming pool was really good, a lot bigger than expected and lots of sun beds, lovely area to relax. The reception area was really lovely and staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the warm cookies upon arrival, such a lovely idea and very much appreciated. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the breakfast, etc. Our room was cleaned early and quickly which was a bonus, usually you have to wait if you come back early.

Location was perfect, cocktail specials were a winner, breakfast was generous and plenty of variety. Rooms clean and generous sized plus the bathrooms were modern and clean.

Pool a little cold, had to ask for things to be replenished in our room like refilling shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on separate occasions plus tea bags. Was followed up immediately but was a nuisance.

Clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable. Check in was easy and smooth, even though we got in late. Staff were always around to help and friendly. Free cookies were delicious. Was great to have drinks and food brought out to us at the pool.

The price for buffet breakfast seemed quite a lot. The building itself is quite old and outdated. Couldn't open the windows to get fresh air in so rooms were a little musky.
