It has been a great stay at Sorat Hotel, Berlin! The personnel are kind, friendly, helpful and cooperative. There's a special 'staff', named 'Julius', she is soooo adorable! I requested early check-in and it was considered. 👍 Good breakfast is provided. I booked a double room classic with courtyard view, the atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful. The hotel is clean and comfy. It is located in a strategically good place-shops, bahn,bus stop and restaurants are nearby. The zoo is within walking distance and there are more tourist attractions in the surrounding area. It's not far from renowned shops:Zara, Mango, H&M, Primark and Karstadt...

Excellent value for money. Very convenient location for exploring Berlin, close to Wittenberg Platz U-Bahn station with three U-Bahn lines. The hotel is basic, no frills, but it does the basics very well. Good bed, shower, good-sized room, friendly and competent staff. The hotel provides free croissants and coffee/tea for breakfast; if you want a more diverse breakfast you can go to a bakery and supermarket that are very close to the hotel. I have stayed here three times already, would definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

No air conditioning, so room will get very warm in the summer (but windows can be opened to get some fresh air in). No small fridge in the room. No real breakfast (but free croissants and coffee/tea), but you can get that at the bakery and supermarket very close to the hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful, although no hot breakfast, the provided breakfast was perfect lovely pastries/coffee/tea. It is spotlessly clean, although housekeeping is every 3 days, there's no problem accessing clean towels etc. The hotel is so central, yet quiet for the most part, the sound- proofing works! 5 mins walk to UBahn Wittenberg Platz U2 line, Kudammn 10 mins walk. We had a comfort plus room, microwave, fridge, tea & coffee making facilties. Great shower. Overall a great find in city centre, with plenty of ease of access to tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants.

The pillows and mattresses were way too soft for my liking, so this could definitely be improved upon. No air-conditioning which would have been a plus in the scorching temperatures in Berlin the last few days. There was a small fan provided but not that cooling! €5 for a litre of water is not good, although accept this appears normal for Berlin, the beer is cheaper!

I paid 260€ for 3 nights (85 a night) which is very reasonable in my opinion and compared to other major world cities it is very cheap for 3 nights. For example I stayed in Paris for 3 nights as well and it was 350€ in the outskirts of Paris. The staff were very lovely and helpful. The location might not be in central berlin but it right by a metro station and grocery store which was very convenient! The room was super spacious as a solo traveller and everything was clean. While there was no air conditioning you could two big windows and there is a fan! There is also a free small breakfast. Overall would recommend if you are looking for a simple good reasonably priced hotel!

Only thing I found annoying were the keys. It is probably just me and my own stupidity and lack of experience with keys but I found the doors hard to open and had to ask the receptionist. Also I think it is a might of a safety concern that the keys have the hotels name and room number which if lost could be found by the wrong type of person.

Very good service with free coffee and croissant in the morning. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Quiet room when facing the courtyard. Staff was so friendly. A very good and friendly relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Nice lobby with homely furniture. I just felt good as if beeing at home. Lots of eating options in the neighbourhood.

Not providing a safe in the hotelroom in the Capital of Germany is very inconvenient and difficult to understand. The hotel has so many positive things , but without a safe I am not sure that I will come back. A fridge would have been good ,but not a major problem. No aircondition, but ok, when it is not too hot.

We went from a more expensive hotel to this one and we absolutely loved it. It was simpler but everything worked properly, the beds were comfortable, super clean and full of attentive details. We loved the cute sewing kit, the bottle of water and the lemon juice 😍 The coffee and the croissant in the morning, super yummy. The woman in the reception in the morning is so nice, all of them, but especially her. The hotel has a coupe of tables outside, and we enjoyed a beer there watching people pass by. They even let us check in three hours earlier. Thank you for a great stay!

Room - clean, well maintained and kettle & hot drink supplies a welcome surprise Location - 3 mins walk from Wittenburgplatz U-Bahn station so ideal base for exploring Berlin Breakfast - I first went to the Sorat in 2019 when breakfast was charged at €15 per person per day. With three of us staying for several days, it was too high a price to pay. This time, a simple croissant and hot drink breakfast was included in the price which was perfect for us and a welcome change from the old days. For something a bit more sophisticated, there are cafes and a supermarket nearby but we were completely happy with what the hotel provided. We were happy with everything back in 2019 but this stay was even better and will definitely go back there.

Can't fault anything.

The property was in a fantastic location - close to groceries, metro/bus, even many different shops (clothes, shoes, cosmetics, Harribo shop, sport shop, etc.). Various nice places to have breakfast at. It is also walking distance from the Zoo/Aquarium. The staff was friendly and the hotel was super clean. I didn’t get the coffee/pastry in the morning but it is available. There is also a bar and nice seating area downstairs which can be handy if you don’t feel like going anywhere else by the end of a day. I had a courtyard facing room and it was quiet. There was good selection of tea/coffee in the room and complimentary bottle of sparkling water. The shower gel in the shower was good quality and smelled nice.

It is a personal preference but the mattress was too soft to my liking, however, I cannot really fault it because I still slept well. The room can get a bit stuffy when warm outside (it was 24 deg C when I was there). It does have a fan, thought, but I am not sure if I would come here in the summer. On another hand, one just sleeps in the room.🤷🏼‍♀️

Kind and helpful staff, great location, shop AMD metro station few steps away. Clean rooms with nice and comfy beds, clean shorew corner with nice smelling installed soap! In case of hot weather a fan was also presented (not used) - much better than cold air-conditioning which may cause cold, that's a big plus for us 😊 Small breakfast corner of coffee/tea maker with fresh croissant was included for free of charge, also small present while check-out time - small choconut bar for trip back home

Everything was awesome

The hotel and room is basic but in a good condition and location, close to metro, shops, restaurants. The free coffee and croissants in the morning are a nice way to start the day. The staff were nice, too.

I knew they clean after the third night, which is actually a very smart move given that the average number of nights spent in Berlin is three. So, I would recommend that the hotel management change this to every second night. You can still save money, but you should also provide a service to your clients.
