Beautifully clean and so handy for the train station. The room was generous sized and had everything I needed. Great value for money, I would stay again.

My only complaint is that check out is 12 noon. Housekeeping had entered my room twice by 10:40 despite me requesting to be left. The first time was in front of 9am and I feel that this is a little intrusive.

The hotel is in close proximity to the train station and walking distance from the city center. The rooms are nice designed and modern. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sadly the neighborhood itself (Bahnhofsviertel) is extremely overloaded with homeless and very dodgy people. As a man I did not go outside at night. I do not understand how a rich city like Frankfurt is changing 2 Euro a day tourist tax, but not do anything against this situation. I have seen drug dealing while the police past by and did nothing. Not the fault of the hotel, but the hotel management needs to pressure the city more to bring change to the area.

Fantastic hotel. Everything was great from comfortable room (really nice bathroom with tub) and beds to really nice breakfast. The staff were super nice and helpful. Location is just outside Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, Poststrasse exit. Can't complain with location at all. Many complain about the dodgy people hanging around but that is to be expected around the train station here, has been like that for years. Just ignore and be vigilant. It improves about 200m down Kaiserstrasse (street directly in front of the main entrance to the Hbf). Plenty of police presence. Only about a 15-20 minute walk from Altstadt or can take S-bahn. As for the hotel: very nice, comfortable, and location. I will definitely consider it again in the future.

I always stay at the Metropolitan Hotel by Flemings when I visit Frankfurt. I live in Heidelberg and love being able to get off the train at the HBF (main railway station) and walk across the street to the hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Frankfurt. From the hotel, I can walk all over Frankfurt or catch the U Bahn or S Bahn at the train station. Okay, the area surrounding the HBF is maybe not so nice but I feel very safe in the hotel. And there are always security personnel and police in the area. The personnel are always friendly, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, and breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. In addition, the hotel has an old world feel about it, which I love!

For a city hotel, whether for leisure or business travel, the hotel was super convenient to central station with well appointed room amenities and super clean. The quality of linen wqs particularly good. Breakfast was one of, if not the best I’ve experienced on the continent. Staff were lovely too right throughout, with good English which helped us non-German speakers.

The air conditioning could do with an overhaul as it seemed unable to cope on the cooler setting. We were there in spring so tolerable, but summertime could be an issue. Whilst the room window could be open for fresh air, the city noises - esp. from the noisy pub opposite, meant you couldn’t keep it open overnight particularly on a Friday night. Also there didn’t seem to be a disable friendly entry as there were steps to enter/exit the front. The steps were shallow enough though that my elderly mother was able to negotiate with some care.

Lovely charming Hotel right beside the main train station and convenient to main shopping and tourist areas Staff were helpful and friendly, especially "Nina" on reception who was very pleasant and went out of her way to help us, she help us with a detailed map of all areas to visit, she was very professional and helpful throughout our stay Room was great with a large bathroom and a large bath, lots of hot water

Hotel was great, the area around the Train Station was not great but if you are familiar with city life this is nothing new and the Hotel and all of the good stuff above outweighed any concerns

The room was clean and bed comfortable. The service from staff was excellent. It's such a lovely old hotel. Initially we went to the Flemings (self serve) hotel a few doors down, was so glad when we realised the cab dropped us at the wrong hotel. This hotel is a beautiful old hotel, lovely cocktail bar. It is ideally located near the main Frankfurt station so it was just a short walk with a lot of luggage to check into the eurostar. Would stay again.

Unfortunately we couldn't dine at the hotel as it was exclusively holding a special tasting. Plenty of options nearby but you should be careful as security warned us not to walk to the left of the hotel as you walk out, due to issues with the type of people who congregate there, instead walk straight out across the road and then down into town where there were many food options.

Located in a fantastic location, right across the Frankfurt Main station (North Exit) so it makes an excellent location if you do day trips and require to take the trains. We were given a free upgrade and had a bigger room. Room a little dated but it was clean and spacious. Room amenities were provided too. We did not take the breakfast option but we saw that the hotel had free apples that guests can help themselves to - very kind gesture! Thank you!

There are steps at the entrance of the hotel and there was no slope provided. This becomes a challenge to handle our luggages when arriving and leaving.

Hotel is well situated for Main Station and Messe Frankfurt EXPO centre. Ideal also for local restaurants and shopping. Rooms good size and very clean / functional. Staff excellent providing efficient friendly service. Nice free cookies and haribo in reception too.

Lack of power points and no USB points in room so problematic for using charging laptops etc. Room temperature difficult to get correct, and poor quality pillows, fixed by getting second pillow and something experienced in other German hotels. None of these things would stop me staying here in future.
