The location is really nice as it is just around the corner of the main train station. All the staff I talked to was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You still have to pay a 2 Euro Frankfurt tourist tax on arrival and you get a really nice and big bottle of water. Late at night, the hotel is locked but staff is very quick and friendly to open the door when you come back. The room was small but very nice and had everything, incl. and AC. I really like the room and it's perfect for one person. Nothing big but just right. The breakfast was nice and yummy. I would come back!

There were some small black stains on the bed sheet and the elevator stops between floors. That's not one's fault as the building is the building it is, but one thing to keep in mind when you come, like me, with a 25kg suitcase.

Quiet Location near the Frankfurt train station. Very clean nice modern comfortable rooms ( with breakfast ). AC in the rooms. Super friendly staff. Excellent value for money

Lift stops between 2 floors so you need to use a few stairs. Easy but not so comfortable if you have heavy luggage.

I recently stayed at Hotel Cristal and had a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, conveniently situated next to the train station, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was quite satisfying, offering a good variety of options to start the day. Additionally, the hotel was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Cristal for its great location and cleanliness!

While my stay at Hotel Cristal had its positives, there were several aspects that I found disappointing. The room was quite small, and I was surprised to find there was no refrigerator. Additionally, the elevators are located on a mezzanine, which makes it inconvenient for carrying luggage and heavier items due to the stairs leading up to them. Even at the entrance, there are several steps to navigate before reaching the lift, making it less accessible. I was also disappointed that there was no hotel parking available. Overall, while the location and cleanliness were great, these issues made my stay less comfortable than I had hoped.

The staff was very friendly. I appreciated that the receptionist spoke Spanish, it was a nice surprise.

Net to the bed was a heather protected with a small fence; the fence was covered in dust.

Room was quite small. but I was looking for a single room. So that did not reallly matter. It was super clean, and had everything one would need to spend a night or two. When it comes to breakfast, I would have prefered a better spread, but still was good enough to fill up. Hotel does not provide in-room tea/coffee option. But alternatively they provide hot water, tea bags, milk and even a coffee machine which can be used anytime at the lobby / resturent. Bed was quite good, has good enough heating in the room and the bathroom. All in all a good place!!! Best part is, you dont even have to walk upto the main entrance of Frankfurt Main hbf, you can walk out of the left gate and it just couple of mins to the property.

Food was good, but would have prefered a little better spread. The lift does not operate to specific floors. and you need to pull your luggaeg up the stairs (only few) to enter the hotel and then have to go dowb ro reach the lift. Lift stops in between Floors 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. So in any case you will have to use the strairs a little to get to any room.

Central location, just minutes walk from main attractions. The room was impeccable, comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast had a good variety of fresh products including the delicious smoked ham, different cheeses, bread and natural juices. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.

The only thing I would like the breakfast to have Included would be some dairy free milk or yogurt as the person I've stayed with couldn't have a cup of tea or a bowl of cereal.

I adore accommodations like Hotel Cristall.  All the staff were friendly, helpful and wonderful!  I arrived in Frankfurt ahead of schedule and was absolutely exhausted.  I had read that I would be able to leave my luggage in Frankfurt Central Station lockers, and I looked forward to taking advantage of that option.  Unfortunately, I could not find them in my tired state.    I was aware that Hotel Cristall's check-in time started at 2pm CET, so I was reluctant to inquire and/or be of any inconvenience.  That said, I was too tired to be dragging my luggage around the city until check-in.  So, I mustered up some courage and inquired.  There was no reason for my anxieties.  They were very welcoming and accommodating.  At no point did I feel like I was inconveniencing anyone.  If need be, one is allowed to store one's luggage before check-in and after check-out.  It's the world of a difference. By the time I read the response and arrived at the Hotel Cristall, the staff were able to go even further beyond my expectations.  I was able to check-in ahead of schedule.  My body and mind were extremely grateful for the gesture.   Hotel Cristall is one of the wonderful accommodations which welcomes one with a bottle of water.  I very much needed and appreciated it.  They include a European breakfast, which adds even more value for money. It's location is currently a blessing and a curse. I adore the hotel's proximity to Frankfurt Central Station. I could go on.  If possible, I would stay again and I would recommend it to all my friends, family, and everyone.  Thank you, Hotel Cristall for setting the bar high and for a wonderful introduction to Frankfurt!

I like it's proximity to Frankfurt Central Station, but some of the activity I saw taking place in the surrounding area is not my cup of tea.

We booked because of how close it is to the main train station, excellent price with breakfast included. However, we got so much more. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but have everything you need. Block out curtains and double glazed windows, ensure a restful sleep. Good hot shower. Breakfast to suit most people.

Be careful on the stairs. They have tight turning. There's a lift, but you will still have to negotiate a flight of stairs, probably not suitable if you have large luggage.

The Hotel is located within 5 minute-walk from Frankfurt am Main Central Station but very quiet. The room was rather small but very confortable. The offered breakfast was mostly cold dishes, different types of bread, cheese, hams, cereals, mineral water, several types of juice, and additionally a boiled-egg and a toast. Besides there was a coffee machine serving different types of coffee. The staff members were very friendly and helpful.

When I asked one of the staff members for a sewing kit because it was mentioned on the information card in the room, the staff member did not know about it. He could find it anyway in the end. This staff member could have learnt what was written in the service menu of the hotel in advance in order to avoid those misunderstanding.

Great location right next to the station. The hotel was amazing value for money! Super clean, very friendly staff and extremely comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a little bit too hot inside, but then again, it's usually the same in all hotels in the area. I was very grateful the windows could be opened for the night. Like on most railway stations in Europe, there are some seedy-looking people hanging around in the area. They probably won't bother you in any way, but some of the more sensitive customers might feel a little intimidated.
