The Pure is located only a few minutes walk from Frankfurt central Railway station.. Regretably, this area and a few surrounding blocks are populated with drug users, down and outs, and many,many single African men.... However, this is not the fault of the Hotel, and we can truthfully say that,despite the levels of depravity on display, we never actually felt in any way unsafe or threatened.There was always a very visible Police presence around the Railway station. So, although we did not, actually, LIKE this aspect, it is important to say that it did not ,in any real way, take away from our experience of The Pure. We had not booked Breakfast, preferring to buy from bakeries and have our croissants,etc in our room with coffe we made using the kettle provided upon request by the Hotel. There is a Rewe supermarket and a Penny Market only a few minutes away,plus several bakeries ,etc within the Railway station.There was a fridge in our room to put milk,etc too. We did see their breakfast bar and it looked pretty good. There is an outside area too,if you prefer to eat in the open. We did not use the gym or sauna, but they are available to guests who wish to do so. The Hotels location is perfect for exploring the City.It`s only ten minutes from the riverside and around the same into the Skyscrapers ,the Main Tower and Skyline Plaza. Our room was perfectly adequate and had a coffee machine (which we never did learn how to work),an excellent shower and very good air conditioning. They also have a great idea whereby,if you choose to skip a day having your room serviced, you receive a 5 Euro voucher redeemable at their bar.As we were staying Sunday to Sunday, we skipped 3 days and earned 15 Euros, paying for a beer and wine we enjoyed after a long day out to Heidelberg. That also draws attention to the Hotels close proximity to the main railway station, where you can choose to visit many nearby towns and cities by train, should you choose to. All the staff were brilliant!

I had a room on the top floor with a balcony. The room was good size with good storage set up for clothes and other items. Unlike some hotels in U.S. the room was cleaned every day and towels were replaced with clean ones. The breakfast staff and the breakfast itself was very good, with many options. The rest of the staff was very nice and I didn’t have any complaints while there. The reception area is very modern with comfortable seating choices. Less than 5 minutes walk to train station. Nice Italian restaurant with very moderate prices about a minute away. I stayed there for six nights and was very happy.

The breakfast buffet area is small, but so special and sweetly presented with all you need for a boutique breakfast. It is not overly crowded, and adjacent to a very lovely outdoor rear garden courtyard, which you can use to sit with a drink, snacks or coffee. The location to Frankfurt train station is excellent, walking distance. The reception/check-in area doubles as a bar which is a quirky and welcoming suggestion! The Hotel Team are excellent, I felt really welcomed and they are so helpful for a new person to the city, they will do as much as they can for you. The property is clean, freshly decorated with a lot of white and cool design.

I couldn't score 100% for the facilities as the mention of a 'gym' is a little ambiguous when they have a bench, a set of dumbbells and a few cardio machines in a corner, in an area too small to work out in really. This section of the property needs developing. Secondly, it is true what some folk are saying about the area, around the hotel it can be extremely seedy if you go down the wrong street/s. There are one or two streets you should just avoid, for your experience of Frankfurt. There are people openly doing drugs in the street and calling out to you, or staring, as a solo female traveler. I would suggest coming to the hotel if you like it for location to the train station, but plan your activities in central Frankfurt away from the hotel, and get a taxi around.

Very convenient location a short walk from the north entrance of HBF station, and a few tram routes even closer than that. Sauna available 24/7. Breakfast had a very good range of options. And we were offered a welcome drink on arrival. We'd definitely stay here again.

There was a window between the shower and the main room. This meant that you illuminated the bedroom when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. There was some modesty frosting, but only halfway up and it didn't really go high enough to cover the chest area. We were in a twin room, but the beds were right next to each other (like a typical Dutch double bed). So I think with this and the visibility of the shower user, it's a bit more of an intimate twin room than we were expecting. We're close enough that it was fine, but it would have been weird if we were just acquaintances.

Conveniently located, helpful and friendly staff, we didn’t try the gym or sauna but the hotel offered great amenities. Our room was spacious and had a balcony option that was nice, option for a welcome drink which we forgot to take advantage of! Appreciated having a coffee machine in the room.

The pillows were quite thin although we didn’t try to ask for additional ones and we still slept okay considering! The shower wasn’t ideal size for someone over 6 ft tall due to the height of the shower head but it seems very common in Europe.

This hotel is centrally located, 10 minutes walking distance to the old town. 5 minute walk from the train station, easy to find. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is excellent. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. I highly recommend this hotel.

I cannot fault the hotel for anything it is a beautiful hotel and well run. The only drawback is the city of Frankfurt itself, it does not feel safe to walk the streets alone at night as women. Although if I returned to Frankfurt I would choose this hotel again.

Lovely hospitable staff who really care for their guests, beautiful design of the rooms and shared areas, convenience! The little luxuries like coffee machine and speaker make the place extra cosy.

This is a really nice hotel in an unfortunately bad area. I did not feel the danger of violence there but it is a popular hangout for junkies. If you are sensitive to such things this area is not for you. For a shorter stay to be within convenience of the train it’s just fine.

Close to the metro and tram stop (if you are going to a concert two trams leave from the stop near the hotel to the stadium and you can also take a train from the main station), Good location - everything was within walking distance (Bankenviertel, Main Tower, Römerberg), Very helpfull and kind staff

Hotel close to the train station, so you need to keep in mind that there are a lot of homeless people

Warm staff at reception at all times. Cosy sauna downstairs. Apples and candies at reception with welcome drink. Fine mattresses. Handy fridge. Shampoo was of good quality. No noise from other rooms. Proximity to supermarket and shops. Luggage was kept before and after check-in. All fine apart from the 2 bathroom issues we faced and the missing chair or stool in the room.

Bathroom had issues with flooding sink and leakage from showerhead. One more seating item was missing as only chair wasnt enough for the two of us. We both disliked seating on the fine beds.

Although the area was a bit sketchy, I personally had no issues despite staying out late (I would normally return back around 1-2am). The hotel does make up for what it lacks in the location through. The staff was friendly, the bed was super comfy and the facilities were great.

The room was a little dirty and lacked maintenance but it wasn't a major issue.
