Good breakfast, easy walk into the city center (or there is a train station (Berliner Tor) about a 5 min walk away if you prefer). Very easy to get to from Hamburg airport, as you take the S1 and get off at Berliner Tor. Lovely modern room and good value for money for a hotel in Hamburg. There is also a Kaufland supermarket about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel, which is very handy!

No kettle/tea/coffee in the room and no fridge- both of these things would be an improvement. There is a coffee machine in the hotel lobby where you can get a coffee to take away for free, but nothing beats your own kettle (and fridge).

We were very satisfied with this accommodation. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. We’d like to thank all of them again for their support throughout our stay. There’s a U-Bahn station (Berliner Tor) about 700 meters from the hotel, but we preferred to use the Normannenweg bus stop, which is only 300 meters away. Since we used the bus, transportation was not an issue, although service frequency does decrease on Sundays, so you should be mindful of that. The rooms were very clean, and we didn’t encounter any issues with cleanliness. We were already aware of what amenities were (and weren’t) provided in the room, so there were no surprises. The toilet in the room was separated by frosted glassthough we would’ve preferred a regular wall, it wasn’t a problem. They also left us complimentary water, which we appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. We were genuinely very, very happy with it. Coffee is available at the reception at all times, which is a nice bonus. Overall, this is definitely a hotel I’d stay at again when I return. Many thanks to everyone.

Easy check-in and free charging if you pay for a garage space – much appreciated! The hotel is located close enough to walk to the city center, which is a big plus if you enjoy discovering a city on foot and like the exercise. Breakfast was very good, and everyone in our group enjoyed the stay.

This has nothing to do with the hotel (which was fine): One should be aware of nocturnal activity in the areas close to the city center – the sheer amount of drug-related issues really put us in a bad mood. We simply weren’t aware of the scale of it.

Around 8 am in the morning, there was a female staff opened our door twice saying she wanna clean our room. The check-out time is 12 pm. We were very confused and a bit shocked because a stranger opened our door... What's the point cleaning the room before we left???

Modern and relatively new hotel. Clean room with a comfy bed and the shower is really nice. Bathroom had a beautiful mirror and enough shelf space for 2 females. Location is quiet even though the train station Berliner Tor is only a 10 minutes walk. From there you can basically go everywhere quite fast. Did a lot of shopping, museums, a musical and visites both botanical gardens. Travel time was usually under 30 minutes. Plus, as a female travelling with my daughter I have always felt save in the area. Coffee to go options as part of the breakfast, which is great when u need caffeine but aren't quite ready for food yet or the rest of the family is still fast asleep.

Great location, clean hotel and very very kind staff. We can easily commute to the touristic areas and city centre. It's really a value for money and honestly the hotel looks newly renovated and it's super comfort for us. We had a problem with the cleanliness room but the staff took it very very seriously and sent the cleaner three times that day and eventually gave us a better room after we asked them. Thank you for the ladies at the front and technical personal who helped us out!!

There is not a lot of storage space in the room, if you need to use the bathroom during the night and you turn on the light the whole room gets lid up since there is only a glas wall between the bathroom and the bed and the bathroom light is very bright. Would be helpful to have a smaller light to not wake the other person.

I had a fantastic stay at Super 8 Wyndham Hamburg Mitte! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Very clean room, comfortable beds. Excellent soundproofing. It is welcome with pets (free of charge!). The breakfast was varied, there was even Kaiserschmarrn. Hidden Options: 1. You can always get free coffee at the reception. Tea 2.5 euros 2. To connect to Wi-fi in the hotel, you need to turn on the TV and there will be a password on the screen.

The hotel is 1 metro stop away from the train station. It is a bit difficult to walk to the hotel because of the renovation works around it. But the hotel is very quiet. The breakfast was varied, but I didn't like the hot dishes. Omelette, sausages, coffee everything was not very tasty. But, it is a matter of taste of course.

Decent location - 8-10 min walk to Berliner Tor S-Bahn and U-Bahn stop. Room was a good size for two people with two single beds pushed together, perfect for us. Staff were all very friendly and helpful at reception. Easy self check-in on the computer but staff also were there and happy to assist. Beds were comfy, shower had great water pressure. Always glad to see hotel rooms with full length mirrors for getting ready. Everything was clean.

Location is good just a lot of construction and roadworks near Berliner Tor at the moment which makes life a little harder but obvs not the fault of the hotel. Would be good if the cafe was open after breakfast (like 10-12 in the morning) so if you miss breakfast you can still get a coffee and a snack. It only opens at 12 right now as I understood from the signs. I wish hotels generally would put a shelf in showers so you can reach your shampoo and razor etc. easily. Would also be great if the TVs could connect to netflix, spotify and disney plus - the signal was a bit dodgy and wouldnt connect well for us. We didnt want to watch German tv but thats a minor gripe of English native speakers!
