The location was great, room was clean and comfortable. Plus the option of a small pool, spa and gym facilities was ideal.

The view of the building site opposite. Plus no long mirror in the room. No complimentary water, tea, or milk offered. Also, the shower hose was in the middle of the bath with the shower door not being long enough.

Wonderful location, extremely close to the train station/hauptbahnhof but no disturbance from noise. Staff were extremely accommodating. Room was large, clean and spacious. The gym facilities were perfect, and open until 10pm which was very convenient. Check out was at 11am too which was very relaxed. The bed was also extremely comfortable. I would absolutely look to stay here again.

The breakfast was expensive ~€25, but as not many places are open early in the morning, it was the only option if you want to eat early. Good points: It was an extremely varied continental breakfast, with options for all palates. It was from 6:30-10am which was an extremely generous timeframe.

The staff that I spoke to were all very polite, friendly and helpful. My room was a twin single bedded room. It was very clean and plenty big enough not to feel claustrophobic. The bathroom was clean and had everything that you would expect in a hotel bathroom. The shower had good pressure for and invigorating shower. The bed was also very comfortable. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just a five minute walk from the cathedral and the train station, and within easy walking distance of a good selection of bars, pubs and restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend the Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom to anyone visiting Cologne.

The reception staff were really helpful and gave me some local background of some of the things to see near there. The food was good at breakfast and it was easy to find my way around. Very handy for the main train station since it was less than ten minutes to walk there.

The staff at the associated restaurant (at the property, but apparently not owned by the hotel) were not helpful and it took an extraordinary amount of time for them to acknowledge that I was waiting for a table and another long period of time to deliver the food that I ordered.

Location is fantastic. We did have a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the hotel but not a big issue. Very close to Cologne Dom, Cologne HBf and Christmas markets. Comfortable beds, good size rooms - a bit more spacious than other hotel. Has good size wardrobe and plenty of space to put luggages and other items. Buffet breakfast was really good (extra fee). Easy check in and check out. Bathroom is quite spacious with great space to put your clothes and other items. I needed to print out tickets and the front desk were happy to do it. There is a tiny kiosk near the front desk for small items like chips, water, soda, etc. USB slots for charging near the bed and near the desk.

A better signage from the main road indicating which is the hotel and which is the residence. We followed the sign that was there and turned out it was somekind of residential or apartments. The receptionist at the building unhappily directed us to the hotel. The room has an annoying alarm sound when you open the door with the keycard until you slot the keycard into the power slot.

The hotel staff was welcoming and communicated effortlessly in English. The rooms, though slightly dated, were peaceful and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. During the breakfast, the staff is very friendly and are not shy to have a talk, cool!

The pillows provide decent support for back sleepers but may not be comfortable for those with other sleeping positions. If your room is at the street side, do not expect a nice view due to ongoing construction (05/2025).

The hotel is superbly located, near the Cologne train station and cathedral. The staff is friendly and helpful, both at the reception and at the bar/breakfast. They lend umbrellas if needed. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The cleaning staff only goes by once. Usually, when we go for breakfast (about 30 minutes) we put the "do not disturb" sign and take it off after we are good to go visit the city. At this hotel, they see the sign at breakfast time, ignore the room and don't come back. I had never seen this before.

The staff at the reception and at the breakfast were really kind and friendly. The room was very clean and we had enough space even with the third bed in the room. The location was very calm but close to the main shopping street, Dom and central station. We enjoyed the pool and the gym was outstanding for a hotel.

The hotel didn't had any parking for the customers, but I was able to book an underground parking that was just a few minutes away by foot.

Room was very comfortable, with opening windows to allow fresh air in. Buffet breakfast was good, with a variety of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great, very close to the central station, Cologne Cathedral ,shops and restaurants.

Weather was quite warm, and the room did not have individual adjustment of air-conditioning , hence the room was hot in the afternoon. Luckily we could open the windows in the evening.

This is a great location. It’s roughly 5-10mins from Cologne central station, the famous cathedral and the main shopping centre. So it is very convenient for most tourists. Breakfast was excellent (they served eggs, fruit, cereal, sausages, bread + more) and they had a large selection. Room and bathroom was clean.

Spa and swimming pool was unfortunately closed during our stay (Early Jan 2025) for renovations and upgrades. But was due to open after a few days.
