The hotel is located at the quite busy Dachauer Straße and can be reached easily from the main train station or the Karlsplatz by public transport (Tram lines 20 or 21 to Leonrodplatz followed by a short walk of less than 5 min). Staff was very friendly. Our air-conditioned room was facing the Dachauer Straße but was fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in buffet style with a large choice of foods, including scrambled egg, bacon and meatballs. By opting out of the room service for two nights we received vouchers for the hotel bar. There was a free bottle of water and a cereal bar in the room. Would definitely stay again.

Only minor points, but the towels were quite worn out and the hair dryer was a bit aged (but did its job).

Breakfast: full, continental, buffet-style, with local products (honey, cheese, ham, sausages) and some Christmas specialties; kind personnel and tidy breakfast room. Location: Excellent. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. The hotel is reachable easily with the tram lines 20/21 from the Munich Central train station (15 min direct ride). From the Munich Central train station, one can walk around the city centre and all the major tourist sites as well as take the S-Bahn (local train service), the U-Bahn (metro), buses, trams and explore the whole Munich metropolitan area. Within walking distance from the hotel, there is an EDEKA s/m, a Rossmann drugstore, and pizzerias. Room: quiet with a small balcony with interesting rooftop view.

During our 6-night stay at the hotel, we were expecting and assured at the reception to have the bedrooms sheets changed at least twice, when we had our room cleaned. This however, was not the case: during the cleaning of the room, only the towels were replaced; the sheets were not changed at all during our stay. We would have also appreciated a better vacuum cleaning of the room.

Instead of a larger junior suite, we were upgraded to two interconnected small rooms, which we were very pleased with. Rooms were clean and tidy. Having a coffee machine in the room was a great bonus. Breakfasts were good with a decent variety. The parking is a bit tight, but it’s located right at the hotel, making access very convenient. The location is next to the Olympic Park and within walking distance of the BMW Museum. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Our windows faced the road, but it wasn’t particularly noisy. With the windows closed, it was completely quiet.

The room came with a protected balcony to the back of the hotel where it was calm and green. The balcony had a table and a chair to chill. The breakfast had a good variety of yogurts, fruit mixes, and pastries. Tram station is close by. You can make it to the central train station in 15 minutes.

In previous stays I had a room where the bathroom was so small that you could not sit properly on the toilet. You basically had to sit sideways and put your legs outside the room. Make sure to complain if you get such a room and ask for another, so they learn.

Convenient for the market at the Olympic park. Pleasant reception area and lifts worked well. Lovely Christmas decorations. Lovely to receive chocolate santas when we arrived and when we were short of things the staff did their best to put things right. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were warm.

One room was lovely and the other was sub standard. On two occasions we were short of towels in both rooms. In the smaller room the room was dirty, there was a lot of hair in the plug hole, the safe was broken and there was no wardrobe. We had to ask for coffee pods as these weren’t replenished in one room and weren’t there at all in the other.

I read a lot of reviews to choose where to stay in Munich, and if you don't want to be in a strict center, don't search more...this is the right spot. The staff is great and polite (hard to find in Munich), they will answer any of your questions. The rooms are really clean and nice. They have heating, air conditioning, and windows that you can open for fresh air. Every day, you receive a bottle of water in the room. There is a garage under the hotel, so you can use the elevator to go directly to your floor with baggage. Also, there is street parking in front of the hotel if the garage is not an option (not sure about the parking prices). There is a lobby bar for coffee and drinks. Breakfast was really good, lot of variety, clean tables, and good staff. Location is great - walking distance to OlympiaPark (you want to visit it :)) and 25 min drive with tram to the strict center of Munich (direct line, tram stops 3 minutes from hotel, super convenient). Also, bus lines at same stop, to go to other tourist places around center. For visiting Allianz arena, a short drive from hotel, super convenient. Grocery shop, restaurants, pharmacy, 5 min from hotel

The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous! We were travelling with two kids and a dog, and from the first moment checking in we felt welcome. The location was perfect for us (trams to Stachus and Rotkreuzplatz just a few meters walk), the rooms are very quiet although they face the busy Dachauer Straße. But first and foremost it was the outstanding people working there that made the stay great.

The towel heaters in the bathrooms are right next to the toilet and go from floor to ceiling, and they have clearly suffered from years of men peeing standing up... They are ready to be renewed.

Location was nice, directly next to the station but not loud at all!! Beds very comfy, water included, service very nice!

The leonardo is an old chain and you can notice it here and there like the bathroom or floor or even the blankets. We are not super picky but we asked to change one of the blankets since it had a big dark stain (not fresh one) but it felt very uncomfortable seeing it and I didnt want to sleep under. Good thing: Even though it was already midnight when we notice, the concierge brought us a new blanket which we appreciated a lot! She explained that the stains dont go away anymore yet I would suggest then to get new blankets or at least to hide the parts better inside the bedsheets so that you dont see them as a guest.

Good breakfast and good location, close to Olympiapark. The center of the city is just a short tram ride away. Our room on the back of the hotel was very quiet.

We had a superior triple room. There were two single beds ands a couch that folded out to become a bed. Thew choice of a double bed would be nice. The sofa bed was narrow. The room could have been cheaper.

The staff was extremely professional, smiling and helpful at all times ! The parking facility was exceptional and less expensive than in other places. The room was big. The coffee machine was more than welcomed !

We had to change the room as the carpet on the floor was almost disgusting. Never understood why hotels choose carpets to cover the floors... But the staff wanted to make sure we were given a new room as per our convenience. All in all, we do not consider this was a 4 star hotel but rather a 3 star one.
