Very nice hotel, comfortable stay, close to the train station, very nice room, wonderful staff, especially Mr. Umut Mahmoud, he helped me a lot and solved most of the obstacles I faced from the first day. I thank him a lot for his good manners and help. I will definitely try this hotel again soon.

The location was great, the room decor was very nice, the bed was comfortable & the wifi was good

The seating in the bar is very awkward, the low level seating is higher than the low table meaning if you eat at the table your crouching to the table in an uncomfortable position hence i just ate at the bar counter . Overall the bar staff were very friendly and engaging but there was one particular guy working in the bar who just should not be working in hospitality. The food was very nice but expensive, €38 for a burger N chips

Hotel size, room size was perfect for a family of four,l and walking distance to the shopping area.

During my last night's stay the parking was full which forced me to park at another hotel which was very inconvenient during a time where many road repairs were being underway. The mattress had a stain and I had placed the wooden plate which states what to do in order to change the bed lining daily if placed on the bed, on the second day after room service the stain was still there which was resolved after speaking with the reception. The curtain in the bedroom needs to be repaired due to not having all hooks attached to the railing. The shower and toilet sliding door is dangerous and may shatter if pushed from one side to another with force. More staff at the reception would be better as this hotel is always packed from my personal experience.

had a great stay at the Sofitel Bayerpost. The hotel itself is beautiful—modern, clean, and comfortable—with everything you’d expect from a 5-star property. Generally speaking locations near a central station aren’t great right about anywhere in the world, same goes for Munich. Having said that, the area feels safe and nicer neighborhoods are really close on walking distance.

The SPA had a unique soaking pool that was fun to visit. In my room, there was a large soaking tub and the bedding was comfortable. The lobby of the hotel was also modern and had lots of seating. There were coffee, hand fruit and croissants near the front desk one morning, which was nice since the only option at the hotel was a sit-down restaurant. Most of the staff were very friendly and went out of their to hold elevators, offer assistance, etc. Proximity to the train was great.

Although most of the staff were great, the concierge did not do much to orient me to the hotel or what was available. The bathroom layout was a little strange and it was easy to accidentally get water on the floor. I wish there were some other food options or a small store for take-away items.

The head waiter in the bar wasn’t welcoming and couldn’t accommodate us for a drink before bed. We loved the bar area but couldn’t enjoy a drink after we had eaten in the brasserie. There were areas in the bar reserved for non paying residents which seems wrong considering we had booked 2 rooms for a 4 nights stay which ruined the evening. Most people in the bar area are not residents and they had priority! The waiter was difficult and rude and we felt deflated after a lovely dinner in the brasserie. After being ushered out of the bar we headed to our room for an early night which was not what we planned for a Saturday night in Munich.

Very nicely renovated hotel with luxury feeling and nice staff. Location is central (close to everything) but is also it's major low point. Decoration is very nice being a very ample hotel. Price was very fair for this level of hotel.

The location near the central station means that it is central in terms of location with easy access everywhere but at night it feels not safe to leave the hotel on walking and during the day (like in all central stations in Germany) the environment is not great. Also a lot of reconstruction going around so this may be changed in upcoming years.

Good location, very good breakfasts, small but good wellness, garage easy to use.

Smelly shower drain, chaotic and very slow reception guys, who charged deposit without saying, I had to ask specifically afterwards. When we were leaving they wanted to charge us again for the accommodation not only the extra spendings (parking, bar). When you are parking for more days and want to get out and back to the garage you need to queue for the reception as with any other request what with slow service takes your time.

Great location, a short walk to most tourist areas. Beautiful property, modern clean finish, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Tasty breakfast, great variety, really friendly and attentive staff at breakfast time. Staff super helpful before we arrived, arranged a car to pick us up from the airport etc

The only thing that let the hotel down was front desk. Guests often queueing due to one or two members of staff at any desks. Unreachable by telephone. Staff with their backs to guests. Simple requests not dealt with (asked for bags to be collected at checkout but no-one came to collect, asked hotel to arrange a car to the airport but car company then ringing me to clarify simple details, asked reception to email me confirmation of car booking, email address taken but then no correspondence from them) Concierge desk and duty manager desk both usually unstaffed. Such a shame as this is the team that represent the face of the hotel, but gave a 5 star property the feel of a budget bed and breakfast
